  • I didn't know any of this. Thanks for burying the liberal left again..

  • do your own due dilligents..you can find all of this out

  • So you're so convinced that homophobia and hate against gays doesn't exist that it's more plausible to you that Dan White just bumped into Milk and was like "hey, might as well kill this guy" than that one of the only times in American history where a politician killed a rival involved the first openly gay politician? Also, do ties to Jones somehow mean that the great advances in civil rights Milk achieved didn't happen?

  • @LanceDirk Look fag killing gays is pointless.. being gay alone is enough self ownage

  • @LanceDirk the guy was a crappy political left wing hack. He barley voted, he supported crappy legislation. The fact that he was gay is the only thing he is remembered for and the fact that he was gay sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo what?

  • @mrrossn Why don't you ask that question to the people who were outraged that Milk was elected? Or, ask that question to the people who wouldn't vote for a gay politician today. I'd would be great if we could say "so what?" to the fact that someone is gay, but there are so many people that hate homosexuality. These people are not like "so what?"

  • Sean Penn is INDEED a douche. "POW! POW!" "What's that!?"

"Just Sean Penn shooting at FEMA helicopters."-SNL circa Hurricane Katrina

  • sean penn is a douche

  • @Thomasthefree, when did you choose to be straight?

  • Nobody is born with a sexual orientation. People are NOT sexual at birth. Only the fraudulent and criminal "science" of Alfred Kinsey claims such a dangerous thing. Even hetero is ultimately chosen, but the biology and physiology of a man and a woman tells us what the true feelings and nature of our orientation is or at least should be...hetero. Gender differences exist; they are a fundamental reality and impact our psychology. Our maleness and femaleness is a key aspect to our person-hood.

  • Apart from the fact that this guy is one of the biggest homophobic ASSHOLES and TOOLS on Youtube, he clearly never does any research...a cursory glance would tell you that it WASN'T Kool-Aid. Now who is an unreliable source...can't blame Hollywood for that one - sorry. To answer the person above who asked " Where is this guy getting his sources? I would really like to know". The simple answer is, he doesn't HAVE sources, he makes it up as he goes.

  • It is important when we disagree is to be truthful and compassionate. It's even better when compassion is the basis for our truthfulness. In the overall effort of the gay community to normalize homosexuality, efforts are often made to avoid the truth and to be offended by others who speak it, as if challenging an idea is the same as attacking a person. We need to be truthful so people can make wise decisions. Homosexuality is not a viable choice.

  • @Thomasthefree Ok... so you know that homosexuality is not a viable choice how exactly? Sexual preference falls along a broad spectrum ranging from completely hetero or homo sexual but then also within a huge range in between in which people CAN make a choice but may have a preference more towards men or women in their sexual preference. Those who are homosexual at the far end of the spectrum DO NOT have a choice and generally show homosexual traits at an extremely young age.

  • @wigon Sorry, but Kinsey wasn't a scientist, he was an ideologue and a criminal fraud. Sexuality is based on our gender. It isn't a ghost in a machine like homosexuals would like to believe. Gender differences exist; they are a fundamental reality of our biology and impact our psychology. Our maleness and femaleness is a key aspect to our person-hood. Acknowledging, rather than ignoring (or worse denying), gender differences is the only intellectually honest response to this reality

  • @funk7000 Dude, you need to keep up with the lastest research on gender and sexuality. There are TONS and TONS of peer-reviewed studies on sexuality and homosexuality specifically. You are right that sexuality is not manifested at birth. However, very clear patterns of masculinity vs. femininity are very clearly evident in children at a very early age. Go to abc news's website & search "Understanding Transgender Children" for an example of a related issue (that of gender self-identification).

  • @wigon The abc article you cite is simply a continuing of Kinsey's fraud science. Sexuality is based on our gender. It is NOT a ghost in a machine. the procreative physiological design of the body is self-evident, so any gender bending in any way is neither ethical or healthy, and is therefore the reason why people with same sex attraction and gender identity confusion are more prone to psychological problems such as suicide ideation, and not because of the social construct of “homophobia.”

  • @funk7000 As much as you would like to believe, the science of gender and sexuality does not revolve around Kinsey, but rather peer reviewed research. As much as you try to rationalize it, the science says otherwise regarding gender self-identification and sexual orientiation. It is a wide spectrum and does not fall into the nice neat little "either-or" catagories that you desire. Just because someone identifies themselves as transgender or homosexual doesn't take away from their personhood.

  • @wigon That is exactly the political ideology Kinsey started...the whole wide spectrum thing. Granted everybody is capable of having sex with anybody or anything. Gender as complimentary opposites is a basic physiological reality, which unfortunately re-conceptualized away from the obvious and has been politicized and propagated to the masses. Society's acceptance is higher than it's ever been, yet homosexual psych and health problems have not decreased and in some ways increased

  • @funk7000 Nobody is arguing the biological necessity of complimentary opposites. Look up any journal on human sexuality and you will fine dozens of studies that demonstrate the spectrum of human sexuality as scientifically as possible with a variety of scales and different methodologies. You can argue all you want about the issue, but the majority of those in the field of psychological research and applied mental health fields accept the reality of this spectrum of sexuality.

  • @wigon By the way, the parents of that child in that abc article should be reported for child abuse, as far as I'm concerned. Just because a boy acts effeminate doesn't mean he's homosexual. A child that age doesn't even know better...those parents are the worse parents in the world. Even if my own parents did that to my own brother, I would report them, if they refused to stop

  • @funk7000 Yeah will tell that to all of the mental health experts who have examined that child. The first thing they check for is for physical, sexual, and mental abuse when examining a child like this. So, I'm sorry, but they disagree with you.

  • @wigon Yeah well I know bullimics and anorexics that had perfect health too when they first started. Just wait until the hormones start kicking in.

  • @funk7000 That statement shows you know very little about mental health. Bullimia and anorexia are completely different disorders that are more closely related to anxiety disorders.

  • @wigon They are maladaptive behaviors. Same sex attraction is a maladaptive behavior having to do with gender. When a skinny person looks in the mirror and sees a fat person, that's a disorder. When a person looks in the mirror and sees the opposite sex, that's a disorder.

  • @funk7000 And yet many maladaptive disorders persist in humanity including a vast range of genetic disorders. Furthermore, as I said, gender and sexual preferences fall along a spectrum thus it is very possible for those with a milder desire for the same sex to procreate due to social pressures to do so and to hide attraction for the same sex. As someone asked earlier, did you "choose" to be heterosexual? If you did, then you might want to re-examine your own sexuality.

  • Regarding social services, our current welfare system was RADICALLY reformed under BILL CLINTON. You can no longer continue getting welfare indefinitely. Most states now have two to three year limits and recipients must constantly prove that they are seeking employment. So it is now geared to help GET A JOB. If you remove SSI, Medicare, & Medicaid, what do you think is going to happen to the elderly who depend on it for survival? How can Republicans DARE say they uphold Christian values?

  • @wigon Whats amazing to me is you are a VP of a school. Please save your Christian values crap. Property taxes hurt retired people too. Gas taxes hurt them to. High food cost hurts them too. High corporate taxes drive up the cost of medicine hurting them too, Social security will run out don't you care about the future old people. How liberals DARE say they're intellectuals. At best, you mean well but all your attempts to be fair and equal blow up in everyone face. You make problems worse.

  • @cozyfoxstudio Of course many taxes deeply hurt the elderly and the poor. I never said I was for raising all taxes. But I am for getting rid of the Bush tax cuts on those making over $1 million a year. Taxes on the rich are actually at a historic low right now for the top 1% and average for the top 20% which you would never believe listening to the conservative pundits who claim they are being raped by liberals. Meanwhile the rich take advantage of all kinds of tax-shelters.

  • @cozyfoxstudio So NO liberals are NOT about trying to make everyone equal economically. Aside from the extreme left (real marxists who are fringe groups), we are NOT Marxists. Do we believe in limited socialism? Yes. When done right it works beautifully (examples: Scandinavian nations and New Zealand). BUT...we believe in testing programs, reducing wasteful spending, and investing in education and healthcare as a means to improve our economy and security... & yes SSI needs MASSIVE reform.

  • @cozyfoxstudio Honestly, if we quit all the stupid name-calling and fear-mongoring and if our politicians actually sat down together to examine WHAT WORKS rather then following blind ideology, we'd actually fix most of our nation's major problems. It's not happening because politicians get elected against opponents these days by demonizing them as much as possible based upon ideology rather then efforts to fix things. As far as I'm concerned our political system is broken because of this.

  • @wigon Wrong if we do that we wind up with leaders like John McCain or George Bush. Progressive Republicans who were pro amnesty, pro cap and trade and we wind up with the bigger problems. They reached across the isle all the time and look what it got them. These progressive ideas are leading us into a one world government. That cannot happen. They don't want to fix the problems. They caused the problems. I've been a D and an R. Only the people and the constitution can get us out of this mess.

  • @cozyfoxstudio Their efforts to reach across the isle got shot down by the Republican party. Bush's original immigration reform plan for example was actually a VERY good plan but both parties refused to support it.

One world government? What the hell? Seriously? What Democrat believes in a one world government? Hell, what American liberal leaders of any type believe in that? Do you seriously believe that??? What evidence is their to support that? What do you think is the solution? Militias?

  • @wigon There's no mongering of fear. The fear is genuine. I believe you care and I respect your service more then you know. At 40 I am seriously considering joining the Army. I was going to join the Marines at 30 but my Dad a marine and Vietnam vet talked me out of it. I fear the political system is broken too and civil war or depression are on the horizion. Obama and friends scare the shit of me and not because hes black. Its because they want revolution and the Tea party wants restoration.

  • @cozyfoxstudio What revolution? National health care? We're the only 1st world nation in the world (aside from China) that doesn't have a national health care system. Aside from that I'd hardly call any of Obama's policies revolutionary. He's not taking our guns, and overall is fairly moderate. So I just can't imagine what you are so fearful over. What I fear is that conservatives are pushing us to be more like China...a corporate state where our rights are stripped in the name of DEREGULATION.

  • @cozyfoxstudio By the way, 40 is the cut off age for the Army...it might be less for the Marines. So if you're going to join, you gotta join now to get a taste of being the sharp end of our foreign policy.

  • @wigon Actually It is now 35

  • @Mark123USA What is 35?

  • There are 106 militant Liberal atheists like Jared Loughner who gave this video a thumbs down.

  • @thomaserossi An Athiest liberal? Seriously? So I guess liberals are now super anti-immigration and gun nuts now who hate the federal government? You mean there is no such thing as an athiest conservative? Do you have to show your Jesus card to call yourself a conservative?

Oh wait...maybe 106 gave a thumbs down because Mr. Molotov is a trolling idiot who loves to distort facts and insight fear in other ignorant people?

  • Oh my god! It says Illuminati Pictures! Watch the conspiracyfags come and jump on this one.

  • Every time you look into the historical facts of liberal propaganga you find that there are none.

  • @cozyfoxstudio Give an example. Otherwise that statement sounds pretty stupid but typical of conservative attacks on liberals. All accusations and assumptions with little facts to back them up.

  • @wigon Here's one. Americans gave Indians blankets with small pox intentionally infecting them before people knew what germs were. This is communist agitation propaganda to serve the purpose of divide and conquer from with in. Read the 10 big lies about America. The problem is, you don't want to believe the truth. When you realize you've been indoctrinated into supporting a foriegn ideology that seeks to overthrow the US constitution by any means neccessary, it will be too late.

  • @cozyfoxstudio Comrad, I have no idea what you are talking about. lol! What 10 big lies? What foreign ideology? The foundations of our constitiution and country come from foreign ideologies. Who is this secret force hell bent on destroying the constitution? I don't know about you, but I took an oath to defend the constitution from enemies foreign and DOMESTIC when I enlisted in the Army. Last I checked the only ones wanting to change the constitution were conservatives.

  • @wigon Constitutional conservatives want to change the constitution? How so? Buy pointing out that unconstitutional social program have failed? Please don't call me comrade. I am an American not a Russian. I don't know about you but I took a pledge of allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the REPUBLIC. Not to a democracy or socialism or communism. If you really took your oath seriously and want to defend the USA agianst domestic enemies then shoot yourself.

  • @cozyfoxstudio (sigh) Negative. Conservatives want to CHANGE the constitution regarding citizenship status of those born in this nation but whose parents are foreigners. Did you ever pay attention at all in government class in high school? Yes we are a Republic which means we are not a direct democracy on the federal level but we are at local levels. Our Republic is overall just another form of democracy. What else would you call it? Do you have a better definition of our Republic?

  • @cozyfoxstudio You also took the pledge of allegiance becuase they made you in school. I joined the Army because I actually believed in serving my nation and I continue to do so as a private citizen in the war on terror and in the field of education. If you love your country so much, get off your ass and join the military. If you can't do that get involved in local civic community activism to improve your community, then your state, & then your country instead of blaming liberals for everything.

  • @wigon So again comrad what are these 10 big lies and what are these foreign ideologies you speak of? We already have socialism everywhere comrad. Hell, redistribution of wealth began under our founding fathers in the form of....TAXES!!! You know that thing we rebelled against the British over. Wealth redistribution is one of the primary principles of marxism. Public education is also total marxism as is social security, public transportation, our highway system and the U.S. postal service.

  • @wigon Read the book professor. You ask for one and I gave it to you. Now you are making my points for me. Public education is a massive union run failure, the Postal system and social security are big failures too. We did rebel against taxes are you suggesting we go back and allow the government to be King? Are you sure you are a liberal? Our constitution allows for a small limited government which is neccessary. Cops, firemen, sanitation and a highway system are good.

  • @cozyfoxstudio Yes...correct....in other words limited socialism which includes government at every level (federal, state, and local). Yes we rebelled against taxes only to have new taxes by our new federal, state, and local governments. So once again, we are living currently (and always have been) under some form of socialized government. All that is at issue is the debate over what level of socialism is good for our nation and what is not. Nobody's trying to destroy the constitution..

  • @wigon I wouldnt consider them wealth redistribution. Of course union benifits are way out of control. Since you are all over the place and confused and full of shit about your service in the army and now in education? Then you should accept 20k a year salary for your service. What's your problem? Fire your union. Stop being so greedy and sucking the tax payers dry with no results and serve hero. Help your community.

  • @cozyfoxstudio Why wouldn't you consider taxes wealth redistribution? Look at the definition of taxes. How is that NOT wealth redistribution? Now I'm a liar? Do you want me to talk about PMCS'ing a vehicle? BRM? Convoy tactics? Shooting an azimuth? CET? or some real boring aspects of Army life that wannabes can't find in books? In education I'm the VP of a top-ranking charter school and unions have not been a problem. We also do more with less money then the public schools? Greedy? I think not.

  • @cozyfoxstudio So in summary rather then sitting around bitching I'm actually doing something about it and helping to FIX our nation's education system via charter schools with well proven systems and I hope to also serve soon as a consultant to improve the public schools using those same systems to reform and transform our under-performing public schools without increasing budgets and through public/private partnerships and corporate sponsors. How else shall I serve thee oh greatful massah?

  • @wigon For starters you can stop pretending limited government and taxes are the same as Marxist wealth resdistribution and socialism. As a VP you should know better. Also admit all of these things have failed and most should never have been created in the first place. Then you can stop busting my balls and point the finger at those who want more and more and more of it, instead of defending the failure. I am serving my country by slapping some sense into you. Free of charge.

  • @cozyfoxstudio A failure? THen you are calling America a failure. I'm sorry but it is not. Our nation was BUILT upon public education and at one time we were #1 in the world in education thanks to our socialist education system. It simply needs reform. We KNOW how to fix it. We only need the political will from all sides to do it. TAXES ARE WEALTH REDISTRIBUTION and YES ITS THE SAME DAMN THING. READ THE DAMN DEFINITION OF TAXES! Please tell me how it is different. It is also constitutional.

  • @cozyfoxstudio It just blows my mind that you choose to be willfully ignorant of basic facts of our government and constitution. The only difference between us and Social Democracies (aka-European nations) are the level of taxes and wealth redistribution. Please sir name me ONE 1st-world nation that does not have public education. Name me ONE 1st-world nation that does not provide social-services to the poor. Why do you want America to go backwards and be like a 3rd world nation?

  • @wigon It just blows my mind that you keep pointing to other counrties as if thats relevant. No one said we cant have public services but the ever growing size of government and waste of money has to stop. It's not the same thing. Collecting taxes for limited public services everyone needs is not weath resdistribution. Marxism is not the same as capitalism. Wake up America is failing. The debt is out of control. We are giving away money and in debt to China for it! We are printing money! Hello!

  • @cozyfoxstudio Holy crap, YES THAT IS WEALTH REDISTRIBUTION. Public services paid for by taxes = taking money from tax payers and distributing it in the form of services for EVERYONE regardless of class. How is that NOT wealth redistribution??? If we are not a socialist nation, then what do you blame our debt on? Last I checked our capitalist system is THRIVING ON THE USE OF CREDIT. We citizens are the ones that DEMAND low interest credit! The root cause of our economic problems is NOT Marxism.

  • This is interesting entertainment.

  • Kool-Aid wasn't used in thee Jones Massacre event it was Flavor-Aid.

Seriously, you can find out about this on Wikipedia, but I guess that's too liberal for you or something.

  • haha you believe in a fantasy which you build your life around. LOL

  • This really made me laugh! Well done, Molotov!

  • Yeah? well Mitchell likes to hake anal sex with Satan! it's true because i said so!

anybody can check Wikipedia and see milks quote that the "temple" people were weird and dangerous.

how can one you tube channel fail so badly?

  • @BrightRaven0 Molotov Mitchell is also a communist search illuminatitv shocking secret exposed on youtube.

  • Milk, Kool Aid, and ....Twinkies

  • Awesome--concept; characters; script; plot progression; execution; editing; graphics, music; overall production:

I Just wish I didn't feel as though Glenn Beck might be Executive Producing this thing...

  • I think we're all missing the point. Clearly, Cockfail here is the best and most prolific intentional troll of all time. Well done Cockfail... well done indeed.

  • ... Citation needed

  • HEYYYY KOOL-AID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @shadow12613 "Evil only wins when good men stand by and do nothing"...even if Milk was not a fan he knowingly stood by and that makes him a coward.

  • you idiot he was never killed for being gay.. and the movie never says that.. maybe you should have watched it instead for fast forwarding it to the sex parts ;)

  • @TheShakty1 Did you watch the end of the video?

  • Jonestown was the worst political scandal in US history and it even happened in the post-Watergate era when supposedly reporters were looking for stories. Instead, they did their best to defend Jones and then his political cronies who went on to be mayors and even Presidential candidates.

  • Publicly Milk was absolutely a Jones fan and also knew how dangerous he was but still wrote to Carter defending Jones's kidnapping of a child, not to mention hundreds of others and even organized a benefit gala for Jones on Dec, 2, 1978 which they both did not live to see.

  • So.....uuuummmm, what about Dan White's "Twinkie Defence"??

His lawyers managed to make a successful defence on the grounds of diminished responsibility because Dan had eaten a large number of Twinkies prior to the killings and was so overcome by the sugar rush he experienced a temporary insanity....the dude killed himself shortly afterwards so I supose you could say justice was done.....

  • Wow, more leftist nutjobs defending leftist nutjobs who push propaganda through Hollywood. Whoooooodathunkit.

Jones and Milk. How does one defend the indefensible? Simple, one becomes a liberal socialist shill.. then all facts are inconsequential and you can defend anything.. and often do.

  • Hollywood needs to be knocked down a few notches.

  • 2:40 oh like how senators in the 50s and 60s used their office to defend racism. Also, despite Milk being in contact with this Jones guy, it doesn't undermine his other achievements.

  • This guy's an arrogant asshole.

  • @pdanbridge Pdanbridge is an closed minded retard?

  • @TriggerManxL

    You're projecting. Grow up, kid.

  • @pdanbridge Your projecting your ignorant comments on all of these videos. You should "grow up"

  • It's kind of precious how the maker of the For the Record series thinks he can dismiss the director of Elephant, Last Days, and Paranoid Park as a "Hollywood nutjob." It's a bit like if Alex Jones decided to take a giant shit all over Martin Scorsese and Orson Welles.

  • @PrimusInterInpares Its kind of anti-intellectual how the critic of the maker of For the Record thinks he can dismiss factual data merely by citing the reputation of a movie director. I don't know if Mitchell's facts are correct or not, but that question does not get answered by objecting to his characterizing Van Sant as a nutjob. Do you have anything relevant to say about Milk's relationship w/ Jim Jones, or the circumstances of his death?

  • @philWynk It's true that Harvey Milk did have an unfortunate connection with Jim Jones. A few reasons why the omission of this doesn't make Van Sant a nutjob:

    1) it wasn't a central aspect of Milk's life and would've added 10 minutes to an already over-long film.

    2) most biopics gloss over stuff like this (A Beautiful Mind ignores Nash's washroom exploits; Shakespeare's historical dramas constantly flatter whoever was in power at the time).

    To be continued...

  • 3) making Milk less likeable would've hurt the film's performance at the box-office (or are you not a supporter of the free market?)

    4) the film was written by Dustin Lance Black; Van Sant was the director for hire.

    5) even if Van Sant is a nutjob, he's not a Hollywood nutjob. 90% of his movies are made outside of the studio system.

  • @PrimusInterInpares You were doing fine until your twisted notion of "free market" leapt out. Nothing in free market economics justifies, condones, or even plausibly permits lying for the sake of profit. Quite the contrary; Adam Smith would probably argue that a fallacious film should be ignored and make no profit at all. Sadly, some people do prefer to be misled -- but that's not the market's fault, it's theirs.

I'll take your word on the rest. I did not see the film.

  • harvey milk was a pedophile

    pedophilia is harmful

    therefore, harvey milk is harmful

    any questions?

  • @Sparkalos

Yes. What evidence is there to support the claim he was a pedophile?

  • Where is this guy getting his sources?I would really like to know.

  • @XXTheMoleXX

Ya know he does have a very good point, not just to the video uploader, but to everyone who comments. Like trebby2. People if your going to quote or refrence something post SOURCES!!!!

  • @XXTheMoleXX its all true about the kool aid guy, you can read it all on wiki

  • @XXTheMoleXX It is called History and Facts - Read Moron.

  • @XXTheMoleXX Here is one:

Actual copy of his letter to President Carter. lettersofnote. com/2010/02/in-defence-of-jim-jones. html

  • @XXTheMoleXX

The information concerning Jones and his beliefs were in an interview conducted by an FBI informant. I've read through the transcripts myself, Jones stated he did not believe in God in the transcript. If that isn't wasn't what you were asking about, then please clarify what sources you inquiring about.

  • @XXTheMoleXX from youtube videos

  • @XXTheMoleXX probably from a box of cracker jacks

  • @XXTheMoleXX Out of his ass.

  • I would suppose these conspiracy theorists think that the Government blew up the World Trade Center too. That's how nuts these idiots are.

  • haha r u all there?

  • Ha ha ha yep. I've seen the 9/11 conspiracy arguments debunked by the scientists and experts time and again but like a religion they just hang onto it as though their lives depended on it.

  • Then u must be a member the party tthat got rejected in Virginia and new hampshire?

  • Milk drank the Koo-Air.

    Actually everything here is TRUE.

Next time someone raves about the film Milk, ask them you played Jim Jones.

The answer you will get.....Jim who?

  • And now we have Harvey Milk Day in California....oh great. I wonder if the teachers will teach the whole truth?

  • Yes, your comment is fail. The truth hurts, doesn't it?

  • The video was nothing but spin. Milk never supported the people's temple, but since they were a major organized force in his district he saw them as a resource to man the phone banks, and of course this was long before they moved to the jungle and did the mass suicide. Plenty of Republicans go out of their way to get the support of churches on the fringe.

  • Wrong. Harvey Milk wrote President Carter in January 1978 praising jones when Jones was in Guyana and just 9 months before the massacre. Jones was based in N. California since 1965 and Sec of the S.F. Hosuing Authority since 1976. There were criminal complaints against Jones all this time and the media and politicans like Milk ignored it for their own gain.

Jones could get hundreds of polite diverse people at a rally or event in hours and local politicans asked no questions how and why.

  • Yes, notice the key word "BEFORE." It's easy to judge him based on what happened afterwards. However, if you think he endorsed the massacre, you are an idiot. Milk was an important figure in the struggle for equality, was he a perfect man, no, but who is? He earned his place in history, and the REPUBLICAN governor of California recently acknowledged that by approving a state holiday in his honor.

  • Jones kidnapped the child of two of his long time associates who left the temple and Milk wrote Carter praising Jones months before Jones killed the kid and 900 other people. Milk knew the Temple was a cult and Jones was claiming to have cured people and raised them from the dead. Milk did not care as long as he had hundreds of people who acted, like slaves to work on his and Moscone's campaign. AFTER the massacre, Milk, Moscone, Willie Bown all distanced themselves from the temple.

  • The key word is "before" you are speaking from an "after" perspective. Regardless, you right wingers lost this cause, your own GOP governor signed the holiday into law, so deal with it!

  • Your not very bright are you. Milk KNEW Jones was a sociopath and he worked, praised and helped him and even gave the President a character reference for him WHILE the manaic ran a slave plantation in Guyana and WHILE former members were BEGGING for the life of their child. And what is this obsession with Gov. Arnold who is a RHINO anyway.

You are one huge denial freak and you deal with it.

  • The video was about trying to deny Milk his holiday, he got it so you failed.

  • I think the retarded need a holiday. How about videoguy604 Day? You are hopeless my friend.

  • Can I give 100 thumbs up?

  • He got it for now but only if other things happen. look it up. Not all schools have to acknowledge it.

  • Arnold is no conservative. Hes not in my GOP.

  • Oh, you mean you are part of the teabag GOP, the GOP that got REJECTED in the NY district 23rd election.

  • What is with you people that you come onto a site like this to bad mouth it? Do you really have nothing better to do, or just no good site for your cause to visit?

  • It's also important for these people "FOR THE RECORD" to note that there are Gay and Lesbian Conservatives and they are grateful for what Harvey Milk stood for that paved the way for future equality a fight that is still going on.

  • Right. :P

  • It's Kool Aid Spin for the conspiracy theorist cultists.

  • why couldnt Glenn Beck give us all this info? lol

  • Im glad both jim jones and harvey milk are dead.

Love that Freedom of Speech =0

  • What a crude response to accurate historical information. Seems some folks made up their minds and then reaarange the world to match their conclusion. Pity you cannot read history accurately or respond as a thoughtful adult would.

  • Your response in a word is BULLSHIT!! Shame on you!!

  • using the term "white male privledge" automatically discredits anything else you say.

  • Wasn't Harvey Milk once a Republican?

  • yeah, Harvey was a republican and also conservative

  • As if any of you right wing philistines are fit to judge a work of art. Whether you like Milk or not, it was a great film, a spot on portrayal by Penn. Also, you conspiracy theorists living in your mother's basement are greatly exaggerating Milk's connection to Jones because it just kills you that a gay man with more courage and vision than any of you will ever possess is venerated.

  • How does what someone has sex with have anything to do with courage or vision?

  • You obviously know very little about Harvey Milk to ask that question. Are you a moron?

  • You made the connection of being a homosexual and having courage and vision. I'm saying those don't have anything to do with each other. If you're going to debate with someone stay on topic.

  • If that's all you think Milk did was "be a homosexual" then you haven't bothered yourself to find out about the man. Go read. Grow a brain, stop being a self-loathing wanker.

  • you keep making statements that are irrelevant to our conversation. i never said anything about milks life. i was commenting on your comment where you were connecting what someone has sex with to 'vision' and 'courage'. my question was, what does 'vision and courage' have to do with what you have sex with? follow?

  • Well said, Molotov! Bravo! I've learned that it's always best to hear both sides of a story and you've given us the other side

  • yep, and good ole Obama gave him an award this past week. Its all connected.

  • Milk was shot by White in his office.. Ditto Cherchez comments. Also until he ran for office in San Fran, Milk was a Republican. He was also an honorably discharged veteran..

  • GREAT STUFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Great job of shining the light of truth on hollyweird and the lying main stream media.

  • Very good.

  • Nice work! I gave you 5!

  • Excellent CherchezMoi, Also Milk was stuck in a hard place politically because he needed the votes that Jones (very powerful politically in San Francisco) and the numbers of votes he could get him. He admitted that the people of the People's Temple and Jones were "weird and dangerous and you never want to be on their bad side." That says something about Milk's view of Jim Jones and the Peoples Temple.

  • So the People's Temple was "weird and dangerous" but ol' Harv wasn't above using their political machine to win an election. What a stand up guy.

  • kingdickthefirst that's not a very intelligent response. Of course politicians try to get into office in order to see their vision of the future fulfilled. Milk had a vision of a safer gay community along with equality and respect. He was a good leader in spite of his imperfections. He would have been the first to say that.

  • So being aligned with Jones because he "needed the votes" makes it ok? Who cares? It just goes to show the true character of Milk and you. Thanks for the comment.

  • trevorrray28 you're really showing your ignorance about the subject here and how simple minded you are.

  • CherchezMoi I noticed that the conspiracy nutjobs on this site don't like your intelligent and thoughtful questions. Good thing these nutbar fascists are not in power. Hindsight is 20/20 and because you gave a simple, straightforward response that threw their illuminati cult into a tizzy because they can't handle honest history. It all has to be a conspiracy.

  • Thanks for your response. I see that my comment got 6 thumbs down and therefore has been eliminated as spam. There was nothing offensive in my comment, like you said, I was just being honest and straightforward. I don't buy in to conspiracy theories either. I believe that basically, things ARE as they seem, if that makes any sense.

  • It makes very clear sense to me. You bet.

  • I love these videos, they are great...

and if you look up the facts on google, from legitimate sources, you'll find them all TRUE.

  • was milk a good poltician?

  • I think the videos are interesting to watch, but I do wish you would post a link to the source(s) of your comment. I mean you call this For The Record.

  • "...I just can't stand this level of ignorance wrapped up in so much arrogance."

This, coming from someone who arrogantly states "don't confuse him with the facts", yet is ignorant of the use of satire.

The assassin/homophobe thing has nothing to do with the movie; it is a satire of politically correct speech, or "speech codes".

If you're not smart enough to figure that out, how the hell can we trust you to know the facts, let alone decipher them?

  • thinkresultz- 'watched the movie...' ?!?

WTF does a Hollywood movie have to do with the Facts?!?

  • If you want to create - or discuss - worthwhile comments, KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT.

The fact portion of this video is about the misleading way Hollywood portrayed Milk's life and death.

The satire portion is about "linguistic terrorism"... i.e. using hot words such as "homo" or "psychopath", (or "retarded", which fairly soon will be illegal to say and punishable by law) which, when used, the person seems morally bankrupt because of stigma attached to those terms.

  • Your confusing arrogance with truth!
