The folks at Think Progress and the Center for American Progress should probably stick to the advice of “Political Math” blogger Matthias Shapiro. Although Shapiro is admittedly no fan of Perry’s, he’s done his homework and sees the writing on the wall: "My advice to anti-Perry advocates is this: Give up talking about Texas jobs. Texas is an incredible outlier among the states when it comes to jobs. Not only are they creating them, they’re creating ones with higher wages."

Rick Perry has only stayed in office because of the lack of a better candidate that can beat him. It would take much of a candidate but all those opposing him are more evil than he is; though not by much.

Ron Paul has done more for the state of Texas than Rick Perry ever has! Why isn't he in the news? It's because he is dangerous to the Republicrats agenda in Washington and because Ron Paul would actually stand up for the constitutional rights of the American people.

@mirsaes...not only is he dangerous for the Republicans but he is doubly bad for the Liberals. The Liberals control the media and they are deliberately ignoring him. He is a progressive's worst nightmare!
I think he will win the Rep. primary in spite of the lack of media coverage.
