@justinRkeaton The back up iron sights actually come with the gun. They are made by Midwest Industries and they are exactly the same as Troy sights. They are great!
@blasvida68 They are from Magpul and I had to do a little grinding with a dremel just to get the bigger gas tube to fit where the original slot is. It only took 30 seconds.
@thehammerglock17 After 2000 rounds and not one malfunction...I'd grab my personal M8 in a heart beat to bring to a fight. Would I trust any M8? No. Every self defense firearm MUST be personally tested before I can say I trust it. Brand names do carry some weight but brand names alone shouldnt be trusted right out of the box without personal testing. The only issue I have had so far is Russian steel ammo getting hung up in Magpul Pmags, but no actual issue in shooting it out of the M8.

Plus its almost as if they look down on you when you bring anything like an "AR" "FN" "HK91" type rifle. I haven't shot my rifles in months...this vid makes me want to get back out there...the closest outdoor range like this one in the vid is over an hour away...gotta get out there.
@bigdollars99 Trust me, I get piston Ar haters on my channel all the time. People fear change more than death itself. For me its just a preference, not really better just different.
@RaziMob I actually bought that stock at my favorite pawn show Bargain Pawn on LV Blvd. Its the old A2 collapsible. I got it for $5 and I liked it specifically because its tiny. We'll see how it holds up over time? I just bought a plate carrier vest so I thought a small buttstock might come in handy?
Right on, I didnt know that was an old style, but I am kinda new to the AR game. I have an old friend from FL sending me a stock for the one im building. so far all i have is a lower, i need a job so i can keep building lol
@btistabomb126 I always have a vest on but usually its under my short. I just got lazy because that vest has a messed up carrier. The straps are shot. We usually wear our vests just for protection out in the desert since you never know who might roll up on you out there and its always good to just get used to it since we wear them at work every day. I actually took it off later.
@btistabomb126 Yea, I remember one day a car load of thugish Asian dudes with bandana's hanging in their Honda's rear view mirror drove through our shooting spot. Am I profiling? Am I paranoid? Maybe but I plan on going home to my wife and 2 little boys every day that I leave the house. Officer Trevor Nettleton (of LV Metro PD) was killed in his own garage by 4 thugs in front of his whole family. I just keep it simple and dont trust anyone until they earn it.
@texture6 I just bought some Russian Tula steel ammo that is supposed to be slightly better than Wolf but costs the same? I'll do an ammo review on it soon. I got 500 for $90. Thats not a bad price for plinking ammo.

@thehammerglock17 The M8 is the way to go. The sw requires a special pmag and the 556 is a nice firearm but much more expensive.
