This song is awful. The production is lousy too. However, a great singer like Alexander could lift mess like this off the ground and make it work...if he were comfortable with this tune. Sadly, he's not and he, too, sounds lousy. I hate to say it because it makes me sad...but it is what it is.

This is a true legend. I saw Alex at Plumb Crazy, a club in Raleigh, NC. He did his thing, funny was someone kept yelling "he's lipsynching". Alexander stopped the show, and told the band to stop and he sung the song acapella and shut that fool up. Alexander has given me many years of great music. Thanks, Alex!
