  • @CaliHco86 Central Park is pretty all year round. It certainly is worth seeing in the winter (especially if there's snow). I hope you ventured in. Though I cannot post a link to my photography here, you can see it on my channel: Ken1Nickels1

    and on flickr.com, /photos/kennickels

  • @CaliHco86 Hey there! Thanks for your message! During spring and summer Central Park is of course more colorful and green but running there is always a great experience, even in the winter time. Lots of runners enjoy it even during the colder months! Feel free to contact us if you have other questions :)

  • Hi,i'm coming to visit NY in few days, and i love animals,i'm sure i will come to central park ,i just wanted to ask,is it available to take pics while being really close to the animals there or not.. ?

  • @Ramy1Scofield Thank you for your comment!

Central Park is definitely a must-see in New York, it’s a good thing you included it in your “places-to-visit” list!

Indeed, there are many animals in Central Park, from squirrels to birds.

The good news is that you can get close to the animals, but many of them are wild, and may be difficult to approach (or may require time)!

On the other hand, you can also see many animals at the Central Park Zoo :)

Let us know if you have any other question ;)

  • I've just watched this and the first video about Central Park and neither one mentioned horseback riding through the park.

    Don't they have that anymore?

  • @1tryingtoimprove Hi! Thanks a lot for your comment.

Horseback riding is still available in Central Park! You will find many people selling horseback tours directly at almost every entrance of Central Park (especially around 59th St.). The prices may vary depending on the season of the year, the tour company you choose or the time of the day! :)

  • Central Park is beautiful!

  • @newyorkcitylatinguy Thank you for your comment :)

We couldn’t agree more with you, Central Park really is beautiful; whatever the season the year, there’s always something special about this place!

  • The Great lawn is 13 acres, not 55. (2:10 of the video)

  • @shoelesst2 Thank you for your comment concerning Central Park's Great Lawn! According to the Central Park website the Great Lawn is indeed 55 acres... (can you confirm your source and we will send the info to them too). The bigger the lawn the more space you have to enjoy in this gorgeous park!

  • @NewYorkHabitat

I am the source. I was the Director of Operations at the Park. I'll find you another source though.

  • @shoelesst2 That is fantastic! There is no better source then :)

Please feel free to share your knowledge of Central Park with our viewers. Central Park is indeed one of the preferred attraction of visitors renting vacation rentals in New York.

Thank you again for your input.

  • @NewYorkHabitat You are correct that the entire Great Lawn area is 55 acres. This area encompasses Turtle Pond, Delacorte Theatre and surrounding landscapes. The lawn of the Great Lawn itself is 13 acres. That being said, I think it is safe to leave the info as is.

  • Any word on whether Tavern on the Green will be restored to its former glory? Last I heard Trump was going to take it over and bring it back to life

  • @victoriaindigo Good question Victoria, there has been talk that Donald Trump will restore Tavern on the Green. We do not know for sure, but lets hope that he does!

  • I was born and raised on Long Island, and have to go back to NYC for my fix every couple of months. Great job on the video!

  • @NatureWorshipper Thank you Annette, we are happy you enjoyed our Central Park video! Do you have a favorite attraction in New York City you would recommend to our viewers?
