your viep was amzing sp clear and very helpful but when i downloded the file i didnt download imgburn i dont no whether i done something wrong but please can you help me
when you play it on a DVD player will you be able to turn off the subtitles, and what quality should the video be if i want to play it on an older tube TV?
Hi, whilst going through the encoding/burning process can I shut my computer down and start it again when i'm next on the computer? Or will it completely disrupt the process and i'll have to start again? Cheers Tom!
dose the file have to be avi? what about xvid? , would that mean i would have to convert it to avi? so confused been at this for like 5 hours now, help would be much appreciated XD
Hi great video... Can you tell me what kind of writable DVDs you used? were they -R or + R... I understand that -R's are more common and more suitable for most homes DVD players...thanks for your input
@icydragon542 Look within those docs for an ISO - as long as you selected the option during the project setup to create an ISO, it should be there. Look at the file sizes within the folder of all the files, you are probably looking for a large file size.
guys i seriously need sum advice. iv been trying to encode sum movies for a wyl now and the encoding video tkes about 3 hours, but thn wen it starts encoding the audio it tookk about 16hourse and it was styll only 92 percent dun, not evn jkng . literally 16 hours. any1 no y its tkng so long
@dawood123ist Probably depends on how long the video is, file size, and power of your computer. This stuff does take a long time - even on my systems here.
Great video as always, I like to use DeVeDe in Ubuntu, but also use DVD Flick. I just stumbled upon the option to burn avi files to dvd in the DivX Plus Player. I'm testing it out right now as I'm writing this, I'll let you know how it works, so far it seems to be faster than other options.
Scratch that, it doesn't convert it to work in all DVD players. Just ones that are DivX compatible I guess because it just copied the avi file to DVD. Anyways, great video.
how can i add subtitles?

@holyfrakwit Maybe try re-installing the application, and making sure that imgburn option is selected.

@88KRUZE No, it doesn't have to be AVI (thats just the file I had as an example). If it were me, I would just try whatever format you have.

Nivek5795 1 month ago
@Nivek5795 No, you can use something else to burn the image, but make sure you are burning it as an image, not just a file.
