  • 3.8L FTW!

  • Love the paint color. Brown is making a serious comeback

  • In The UK,It Is The Vauxhall Insignia

  • Gm opel , who cares . Gm owns them

  • This looks a million times better than the Lacrosse, and the brown is gorgeous

  • Dude the wind is bbaadd!! I love how your in front of the camera this time! By the way I love the Carbon Fiber in your watch! :)

  • Nice vid! If you can review a silver Regal GS.

  • What does it mean when they say "manual shift ability"?

  • @GordanMFreeman you can control you shifts from the shift knob in a knoch that makes it so it can move up and down for the upshift and downshift

  • @ccolivardia seems pointless

  • holy crap i am new to this adding video stuff so all i can do it tell you to watch it. you will find it in my videos i guess. its the only one i have uploaded. wish i new what the hell i was doing. :(

  • ,i made a quick little video so i can show you a picture of my car. i call it "my boys, my body my beautiful city and my Buick.

  • the reason i like Buick is not because i am ignorant. its because i drive a 69 gs with a actual big block V8 (1970 455 stage 1 modified to a 464 stage 2 ), i wont even wast my time telling you the numbers because they are so high i will put you in shock . my guess is you have no clue what i am talking about. look it up and you might understand what a real engine and a real Buick are. fuck Opel, that's a gay, pussy bitch car for going very slow and for people that are going nowhere.

  • dictheguncheney<<<<It does not match my point of view therefore it is a "gay, pussy bitch car"

Honestly? can we have the slightest amount of maturity here, this car is better than the one it replaces and that's the important thing here, do you really think they should be building cars to compete with your Gs?

and to be clear here, nobody is going to go into shock from some number spat out by some keyboard warrior on youtube,

  • hit the nail on the head. i drive a 69 gs with a 464 stage 2 headed beast. so bring on any opel. please.

  • deadass, this is the kinda kid i would have beat up when i was in high school, riding around in his grandpa's buick blasting corny ass music... god damn yo...

  • Damn I wish GM should of kill off Buick and leave Pontiac alive.

  • dude kyle, what the fuck is this shit? How come ur not behind the camera? we get to see ur beautiful face now

  • Why are all mid-level cars going to a plastic fuel filler door...its on the Regal, Jetta, GTI...etc all are fairly premium cars.

  • A four???

  • @MrNixan1. Everybody wants to rule the world. It is shown on the screen at 7.35.

  • @grandprixxx94 thx.I have already looked

  • Good job,

I now know more about the car and how the features work that I ever could reading my 2 car magazines tests.

  • 7:55 PLZ song name

  • Love buicks nd it isnt to old people like some people said.. im 18 nd i own a 2011 buick regal..

  • @hgjhlk How light (or heavy) is the steering? Does it feel direct?

  • Great thorough ( but not too much ) video. I really like that you kept all of your usual word choices like " lets take a look at the rest of the car shall we " and so on and so forth. Great picture and audio. Keep 'em coming !

  • Im sorry, but is this kid old enough to drive yet ??

  • fantastic car. over here in ireland its a brilliant insignia.

  • GM had nothing to do with the Opel Insignia. The Buick is rebadged. Car designed by Opel entirely.

  • @englandish43 I believe Opel is owned by GM.

  • @UnboundLegend That may be so, but Opel itself developed the model.

  • @englandish43 GM Europe develops all product for Opel.

  • @englandish43 So you're saying (And I wouldn't doubt you) that OPEL with the insignia were the guys who engineered this thing on the nurbugring and not Buick with the regal?

  • @englandish43 Opel is GM...just like Toyota is Lexus. Lexus rebadged a Camry all companies share parts and platforms across the entire product line.

  • @cu29640 Incorrect. Opel is a German company that is owned by GM. Toyota is Lexus but Opel is not Buick.

  • @englandish43 GM engineers global platforms...some of which are used by Opel. Opel alone is just a division of GM. It would make only perfect business sense to share as much as possible from your global resources. Opel was once a separate company...as was Buick. This is also the same platform used in a tweaked form as the Saab 9-3 9-5 Buick Lacrosse....Cadillac XTS...and Holdens version of this same car.

  • @cu29640 Opel is not by any standard a subordinate of GM. What GM had on their side a long time ago was money, and thus Opel has been in GM's pocket ever since. What you're thinking of here is most likely that fact that Opel is owned in it's entirety by GM. However, this does not mean that GM was involved in much (if any) of the design process for the Insignia at all, only it's money. That would be like saying the Opel Kadett was designed by Americans, for crying out loud! xD

  • @englandish43 GM owns 100% of Opel. It has been a 100% part of General Motors since 1931!!! Opel IS General Motors of Europe. Saying that the Opel Insignia has nothing to do with GM, is like saying that the new Ford Focus has nothing to do with Ford of America because it was designed by Ford of Germany (which it was).

Buick sells more cars in China than they do in America, and most of those cars are made in China. So does that mean that Chinese made Buicks aren't really Buicks??

  • @Poler777 Kraft foods owns Cadbury's chocolate. That doesn't mean that the maker of plastic cheese has any involvement in the creation of the chocolate. Just their money.

  • @englandish43 bullshit! it has buick finish "entirlely" opel's car is no where near as nice as the Buick version, so what the f**k u talking shit for. Buick always makes sure that if they do a take on any car, well, theirs will most certainly be the nicer better engineered finished product. simple as that. so screw u. i love Buick and wouldn't buy no opel.

  • @dicktheguncheney I can tell two things from your comment.

1.) You have never been inside an Opel Insignia.

2.) You are ignorant and had probably never heard of Opel beforehand and are one of those "only buy American stuff" kinda guys.

  • @englandish43 does it matter?

  • @englandish43 gm owns opel

  • @bentleyspotter GM did not design the car. They may own Opel, but the car is a product designed by Opel engineers.

  • Buicks are for old people

  • @mlps93 Wrong....they used to be. Unless you consider 33 old, because that's my age, and I bought one of these a few months ago. Lovin' it.

  • @mlps93 not now , before yeah.

  • Scary how several of the design features resembles some in my old Saab

  • opel insignia,wtf?!?

  • Nice! I didn't know they sold rebadged european GM models in USA :P

  • бьюик хорош ....

    не ожидал такого

  • This 12 year-old is going places!!!!!

  • @brbr28 really if he's "12 years old" then how is he driving those amazing cars?

  • Это видео можно полностью снять в стиле телепередачи. Новая качественная ступень! Великолепно! :-) This video can be removed completely in the style of television. A new qualitative stage! Excellent! :-)

  • @saabkyle04 is this your car ?

  • i finnally saw what you look like lol! i could tell you had big front teeth from the way you sound! lol jp keep up the good work

  • im planning on getting this for my first car

  • My aunt was visiting from Arlington, and she had a Buick Regal Turbo rental. Is this any different from the CXL.

  • @001chatlos001 they only have one trim option which is the cxl the turbo means it has a 2.0 turbo instead of a 2.4

  • LOVE THE DOOR CHIME!!!!!

  • Very nice car, but I think it should have been a Skylark instead. A Regal should be a little larger w/a V6 standard

  • he reviews cars way better than any one i ever seen(roadfly/motortrend etc.)

  • I reviewed the Vauxhall insignia. exact same car with different badges on it.

  • Best thing about this video - Everybody wants to ruuuule the world..

  • American luxury? European luxery is a bit higher the last time i checked.. srry but GM doesn't stand for Qaulity here in Europe at least..

  • @4000marco European luxury costs a bit higher also. Please take into consideration that American car companies make vehicles that the average man or woman can own. Some new Audis these days START at $74,000 American currency. You only can be rich to afford cars like those. I mean, I cant name a company in Europe besides Volvo, Volkswagen, and Saab that make affordable cars. Just please recognize this.

  • Nerds rule! Very impressed with the car and the reviewer. Kyle is quite talented!

  • Nice vid...but did you not know you were gonna be on camera today? Get your hairdid bro!!

  • Copy of Vaxuhall/Opel Astra

  • @dtvfan15 this is not a copy. it is exactly the same as the vauxhall/opel insignia! not astra :D

  • hmm did u know if u start it up and shift it into drive or reverse (olding the brake non stop) is accelerates on its self? its very dangerous.

  • You should review the 2011 Acura TSX for comparison too!

  • it's exactly like opel insignia

  • is the navigation unit hard to learn. not touch screen right?

  • its not based on the European car.....its identical to it in every way!

  • The RR tracks gave me an idea for a suggestion - would like to see some of the tested cars taken across some rough roads/RR tracks to demonstrate on how quiet the interiors are over rough terrain.

  • Ive been on that bridge before! @13:46. :)

  • He looks like hes 16 yrs old.... but great review.....

  • Wow. Thank you for such a thorough look at the Regal. I think I want to buy one. It's not as fast as I would like it to be but I'm a mom so that's ok.It looks and sounds good and Buick is a reliable car. Thanks again!

  • It's not naturally aspirated if it has a turbo lol

  • Nice review, nice car.

  • The opel insignia is the same car Oo

  • I just can't put my faith in American engineering by far the worst. I will stick my Lexus isf

  • @acuratlnigga It's not really American, it's essentially a German import with a Buick sticker on it.

  • @sdspecto Opel is still GM.

  • are those drls in da upper corners o the headlights or is it just the lighting

  • deff would buy.only question is reliability.a coupe would b nice too

  • @CRAZYXBLACKXMAN Buick has won awards for reliability.

  • Kyle, could you do a review on a 2009-2011 chevy malibu?

  • No push to start. That's just disappointing when a Kia has push to start also a deal breaker for me.

  • @PorscheORviper you can put Remote Start on any car for $200. Dealer would charge way more to come off the dealership floor with it.

  • The European riding and handling is because this car is a re badged Opel Insignia, it was developed by Adam Opel AG (100% GM daughter ) in Germany

  • omg north amercan car reviews are so boring top gear is much better lol

  • @jonnyrocks23 people don't watch top gear for reviews, they watch it for the humor. The guys on top gear are some of the most biased "reviewers" I have ever seen. They complain about all the things that don't really matter. The only cars they like are lambos, Bentleys, and Jaguars.

  • @jonnyrocks23 another top gear sheep, how surprising

  • I'm italian and I have an Opel Insignia 2 liters turbodiesel 160 hp automatic transmission, the car it's the same of this : )

  • It's a Opel/Vauxhall Insignia, only tags (logos) are different.

  • Very nice car! Although I think GM should bring back the 3.8L V6, then I'd buy it

  • @frumpytuin The probably stopped making that motor because of gas prices, I have a 02 impala with that motor and it has power, it could do better gas mileage though.

  • wtf buick ? thats an opel insignia !!!

  • @ionutzuuuu

    Yes Insignia

  • I luv that color

  • I love when u do driving do this more often plz

  • What the hell, isnt this a Vauxhall Insignia?

  • first buick i want to own !

  • Good job on how you presented the car

  • Very nice car!! However, they should have used a turbo V-6 engine... Buick needs to bring back the Grand National... I like the T logo on the trunk.

  • This is the first time I've seen a plate that's not from North Carolina in your videos :O That's somehow weird to me.

  • Is it just me or do only awesome song come on the radio when this guy reviews cars?

  • you said this car has 220 hp? wow i cant believe the 2011 maxima is faster then this, the maxima has 290 hp

  • A very professional review, much better than some tv shows"

  • Good job, Kyle. I wish you the best.

  • two things, when you said the cabin was quiet, your camera mic seemed to disagree with you, and your camera mic also seems to catch too much wind noise outside...

  • I like these cars. I got to drive one in November, but it was the non turbo. I was dissapointed in the lack of power :( It should have the 3.6L v6 as an option. How did this one feel when you get a little pedal happy?

  • 18 city, 29 highway?

Dude, my old 1990 Lumina got about that, lol...

  • Dude, GREAT video. I dont really like that car, but after seeing this, someone could have sold me one. You really know how to show all of the cars good features in a good and timely manner. Looking forward to more vids!

  • @coffeeman220 I thought it too was stupid. Seeing the interior the real metals, the wood, the differentiations in the dash and the overall controls, its stunning!

  • it kinda looks like the insignia

  • @Naoufalitos24 That's because it basically IS an Insignia.

  • can you please do a dealership start up fro your next video?

  • 18 mpg city, 29 highway? Is Buick serious? My '95 3.8L V6 LeSabre was rated 19 city and 29 highway, and that was 16 years ago!

  • Don't really like the car, the interior is nice, but it looks like a Toyota or another generic sedan. But as always, the review was great.

  • The interior looks very nice

  • Kyle can you make a video about the manual shift gear.

And great review. I like this style.

  • ahhh this is my fav one, i love this format. i watch this 3 times already..lol

  • should of brought back the 80's style regal.

  • one of kyle's best videos it actually made me want to buy this car

  • kyle is goin pro, i agree, why isnt he on car & driver or motortrend??????

  • May I ask who was helping you film?

  • The color of this Regal really looks great.

  • nice job and thats really awesome how it has the AC power outlet

  • look's like Opel Insignia :)

  • Great car. Great video.

  • Dare I say...better than the Opel Insignia ?

  • Awesome, AWESOME video, Kyle. Love this new styling of videos. Keep up the good work! :)

  • Amazing just amazing the brick regals of the past would be amazed. I like this review alot very in depth with info about the car. I also liked the day/night thing really good, those lights on this car are pretty impressive. Great VID

  • Dude, that's so awesome you got that gig. You definitely deserve it. As others have said, this is better than Motor Trend, etc. Best video you've done, HANDS DOWN! This made me wanna go out and buy one of these! Keep 'em comin'!

  • wow Kyle doin that 1080P stuff NOW! Now all you loonies can stop complaining....

  • I am going to personally hunt down all 6 people that downrated your video Kyle!

  • Comment removed

  • y haven't motortrend or c&d offer dis guy a job yet ?

  • @romesdashit they don't have enough money to pay him

  • @romesdashit simple he won't sell his opinion

  • @romesdashit because Kyle is ALREADY better than MotorTrend and Car & Driver! Motor Trend is full of liars and horrible comparisons, Kyle speaks the truth and delivers everything in an informative and comprehensive way. don't need Kyle going off to MotorTrend and getting corrupted. Kyle is the greatest thing that ever happened to YouTube and Automobiles in general. :)

  • @KLINGY94 kyle has a neutral approach which is what ppl want only because everyone has different opinions and tastes

  • @petayV8 that's, in a nutshell, the basis of my reasoning lol

  • @romesdashit He's getting an article in an upcoming C&D, I think.

  • It's an opel insignia!!...

  • Doesnt the car come with electric fold in mirrors as standard ?

In the netherlands it is an option 195 euro

  • I really enjoy the new style on your videos keep it up :)

  • Auto manufacturers are giving you cars to review now? you're moving up in the reviewing world!

  • what a beauty :D

  • Is this a friends car ?

  • @counkev No it was given by general motors for reviewing purposes

  • @saabkyle04 Cool, you've gone far then :). I thought General Motors would let you borrow a vehicle but that is kind of hard to believe, but not really. Nice of them to let you borrow it for a day or two Great video. Even better than a Motorweek review.

  • @saabkyle04 wow so you're that big time now? GM lent you a press car?

  • @saabkyle04 You got to keep it? xD

  • @saabkyle04 LOL! GM Gave you a car to reveiw with almost 5K on the clock??? And you left your grandmas umbrella in the trunk =P

  • Cant wait for the Regal GS !

  • Hey Kyle, why does everyone think they're an expert in camera use lol ? .. Great vid as expected dude. I super love GM, they are doin a great job with these vehicles don't ye think ?

  • Buick Regal, aliases; Opel Insignia, Vauxhall Insignia or Chevrolet Vectra depending on where in the world you're buying it. Could have just as easily been badged as a Saturn too! GM cars come in so many different disguises!

Btw Kyle - good job, you keep getting better, but I wonder if it would kill you so say a single mean thing about any of the cars that you 'tour' :)

  • Buick Regal, aliases; Opel Insignia, Vauxhall Insignia or Chevrolet Vectra depending on where in the world you're buying it. Could have just as easily been badged as a Saturn too! GM cars come in so many different disguises!

  • this is beast saabkyle, you sound like an sales man :D

  • I like his presentation, I watched the whole 17 minutes even though I'd rather get stabbed than spend my money on a Buick.

  • nice car, nice place!

  • Kudos ma-man! That's definitely one of the most in-depth, professional-like videos I've ever seen on your channel. The intro and wrap-up were veeerry reminiscent of Inside Line's...great job!

  • this better vid then a lot u look like a real review, i just say fix the sound noise

  • the interior eerily reminds me of the chevy cruze i test drove a month ago...
