I'm a fan. Her voice reminds me sometimes of MACY GRAY, who had a few hits and now is rarely seen. It takes a lot to pump out hits. The fact that AMY writes great songs may keep her going... I hope so.
With her "bad girl" image, it also may be hard to go sober.

Yes she only has 2 albums out, but both albums are amazing and not many artists can write so strong lyrics. Many artists don't even write their own songs. She is nominated for 6 Grammys and I think that says a lot about her, as an artist. For me, she is a legend.

I really think there is a level of urban myth with it comes to Miss Amy. What exactly is wrong with this performance? She's singing in full voice, the crowd loves it. What's the problem?
Audio-wise, it's not the worst. Visually she gave off an extreme level of uprofessionalism. If you've ever heard her do this song 100% then you might say this was sort of about a 50% effort on her part to do it well.
Yeah--not her best performance, but not bad either. I mean right now it seems, so many people are just jumping down her throat if she misses one note, or has one sub-par performance. No performer is infallable. They all have off nights and off moments.
She has actually performed very well at her recent gigs--she has even taken to playing guitar again. But, one sub-par performance at the EMAs--a last second gig by the way--and the ghouls jump all over her. It's just a bunch of people who root for her to fail, because they're miserable with their own lives.
I'm a huge fan of AW and I try to give her a fair assessment at all times. Some people are just tabloidish about her, that's true. She's had several very shaky performances in the last few months and we know she can be brilliant if she's in her right mind. Some fans are sincerely worried about her.
Well, certainly I am worried too, brandy. One can only hope she comes out on the other end of whatever it is she is doing. No doubt, it's a dangerous time for her. An addictive personality, unlimited money, an enabling partner and lots of free time. . . that's not a good combination.
She's been great, she's been pretty bad. This is not awful seeing as she was in another emotional state. She's lost control of herself and no is to blame but herself. Seems she's getting a taste of the haters though as it looks like she got hit in the face with something at 03:37. Perhaps after that she had the band speed it up and that's possibly one reason she didn't come back for the encore.

There is so much going on on stage after 03:47 -- Zalon notices her miss a beat and the horn player seems to notice it. The other two horns come out to play but then retreat after she says something to the back of the stage. The rest of the show was determined by her getting hit. I wasn't there but the video says a lot. Yeah, fans can be great, but they can be brutal as well. Maybe they felt she disrespected them.

Saw her in Munich the day before. She also kept us waiting, sang for only 1 hr and & barely said 3 words to the audience. She drank all the way through, and smoked too. We also had the feeling that she was dying to leave the stage, and the last three songs were lacklustre. Having said that it was a fantastic concert, and especially this song was a highlight. She sang her songs differently to on the CDs and her voice was stunning. Would I go to see her again? In a flash!
but her management sucks big time, how the f...k the allow her to be in that messed up state she was back at this concert, and probably at her entire tour, i hear just in amsterdam they had that good stuff for her, somebody please rescue that women.....
I was there. The first half of the show was quite ok, but the 2nd one... Really hard. She was totally fucked up. Her boyfriend must come out and take her out of scene 'cause she was totally lost, at times. The band had to play a self-presenatation to save the show, while she was out of scene. The day after in Milan was the same history. I love Amy, she's one of my favourite singer, so i am not judgeing her. It just make me sad and scared seeing her fucked up at that point

Audio-wise, it's not the worst. Visually she gave off an extreme level of uprofessionalism. If you've ever heard her do this song 100% then you might say this was sort of about a 50% effort on her part to do it well.

Yeah--not her best performance, but not bad either. I mean right now it seems, so many people are just jumping down her throat if she misses one note, or has one sub-par performance. No performer is infallable. They all have off nights and off moments.

But, one sub-par performance at the EMAs--a last second gig by the way--and the ghouls jump all over her. I'm a huge fan of AW and I try to give her a fair assessment at all times. Some people are just tabloidish about her, that's true. She's had several very shaky performances in the last few months and we know she can be brilliant if she's in her right mind. Some fans are sincerely worried about her.

She's been great, she's been pretty bad. This is not awful seeing as she was in another emotional state. She's lost control of herself and no is to blame but herself. Seems she's getting a taste of the haters though as it looks like she got hit in the face with something at 03:37. Perhaps after that she had the band speed it up and that's possibly one reason she didn't come back for the encore.

There is so much going on on stage after 03:47 -- Zalon notices her miss a beat and the horn player seems to notice it. The other two horns come out to play but then retreat after she says something to the back of the stage. The rest of the show was determined by her getting hit. I wasn't there but the video says a lot. Yeah, fans can be great, but they can be brutal as well. Maybe they felt she disrespected them.

Why should the back up singers quit? They are both really nice and talented. I don't think Amy is an embarrassment to herself or the audience. She is human like the rest of us, and a lot of people get drunk when they have personal problems. She will sort herself out, when she is ready. At least I would like to hope so.

I love her music because of her incredible voice & her authenticity. Back to Black gives me chills. I am reminded of so much that I went thru: break-up pain, eating disorder, cocaine overdose, being intelligent & creative but not fitting in, and just not knowing how the fuck I was going to get by in this world. My heart goes out to her and Blake & I would love to see them beat the odds. If it's any inspiration, I made it to 39 & got off illegal drugs, AND did it my way.

Because she didn't talk to her fans,she came 30min. too late and only played for 50min.,she cried,she threw away her mic,almost burnt the curtain,yawned,kicked her glass away,made out with her junkie,always scratched herself,was totally absent and arrogant and ignorant,said to the band "quick, quick",sang her songs like she couldn't wait to get out there as fast as possible.Fame has killed her. America ruined her the most. But her voice is incredible.

I understand why people who paid for the concert are pissed, but you gotta give her credit for singing this good, if she was so miserable. She is a really self destructive person, like so many others. It's just sad to see her trying to make it better with drugs. I hope she will sort herself out, before it's too late. Saw her in Munich the day before. She also kept us waiting, sang for only 1 hr and & barely said 3 words to the audience. She drank all the way through, and smoked too. We also had the feeling that she was dying to leave the stage, and the last three songs were lacklustre. Having said that it was a fantastic concert, and especially this song was a highlight. She sang her songs differently to on the CDs and her voice was stunning. Would I go to see her again? In a flash!

I was there. The first half of the show was quite ok, but the 2nd one... Really hard. She was totally fucked up. Her boyfriend must come out and take her out of scene 'cause she was totally lost, at times. The band had to play a self-presenatation to save the show, while she was out of scene. The day after in Milan was the same history. I love Amy, she's one of my favourite singer, so i am not judgeing her. It just make me sad and scared seeing her fucked up at that point

How much did you paid? Cause I saw her in Denmark and she was not crying like in this video but you could really feel that she didn't wanted to be on stage. I was really drunk myself but as I remember, she was more than one hour late and only performed in 50 minutes or something, but it was still worth the money and I met her and Blake after the concert.

Alright, maybe I'm spoiled. I'm used to stellar stage performances. Last pop concerts I've been to were Bjork, and Madonna.... so I'm used to getting my money's worth. If I paid for a show and the performer was drunk and mumbling the words of the songs, I would be PISSED
