@LB725C The game teleports you back to the starting point of the day as a last resort when you fall out of bounds (as he used the "scale glitch" to get into this situation). In the Perplexing Pool, you oddly end up on the wall behind the starting point though, allowing him to skip the electric gate

Byt the way, how did you stop the white pikmin from carrying the Onion Replica through the water?

Pretty sure the game's programmed to not let the white start carrying it afterward. It doesn't always happen; from when I was experimenting with it, the white seemed to grab it if the blues were too close when it finished digging the onion up (I'm guessing it was caused by the fact that the blues would grab on immediately?). I make sure to dismiss the blues a short distance away here.

I love how once the President sets foot on the Planet of Pikmin, he knows like everything he needs to know about cooperating with the Pikmin!

Just for the sake of theorizing, he probably was trained by Olimar, read the enclosed instruction booklet (or Olimar's journal, whatever you want to call it), or just has really good skill. Plus, the ship told the president about some stuff the first time you land with him.

Very very impressive, well done. Just one question and one recommendation. 1. For the glitch to work does a treasure have to be coming in, or can you place your captain in a specific place like I've seen in other runs? and 2. maybe get your white pikmin for the last treasure above ground and have your second captain take the rest in blues for the submerged castle, like I kinda hinted at in day 4. I'm pretty sure you've already planned the whole game out though, can't wait for more.

1. You need the cutscene from a treasure arriving at the ship to play in order to glitch through the scale. (and the scale has to be moving up at the same time)

2. I don't really understand the question... Are you talking about the last two treasures I have left? As I'm planning on getting them with whites (and a few purples) while going to Submerged Castle with the other captain.

No, he said the second one was a recommendation to get the whites for the last treasure above ground and have the President take the blues for SC.

Regarding the treasure/cutscene/scale glitch, has anyone asked about whether using the glitch is allowed based on SDA's rules?

Out of bounds and warping glitches (which this is both) used to be banned, but the rules were changed to allow them a year or two ago.

Well, I'm not MilesSMB, but I tryed it so many times I know how to do it.

1. get a free treasure near the ship(Impedement Scourge recommended)

2. get a captain on a plate

3.directly when the treasure cutscene is going to pop up, throw a pikmin on the other plate. the plate will raise but not you.

4. when youre under and inside the plate, move a litlle bit near the trunk and fall down.
