Love love this song - this was a huge floor filler - especially in NYC. I remember that summer and Frankie Knuckles dropped this - and when the bass hit - the folks went crazy - and when the vocals started - all you saw was some happy faces and people singing YOU GIVE ME JOY JOY JOY. Fyi...This song "Joy" is and has been a staple for the SF "House" scene. She may not be in the mainstream but she is very well known to those who appreciate her music. As a matter of fact, when it is played at any David Harness/Sf or Ruben Mancias/ Nyc events, that is when you hear the respect !!! Nuff said. Peace and keep doing what you love Trina.

Trina is HOT TA DEF! It's a shame that great singers like Trina get overlooked and have their projects shelved or under-promoted in favor of sub-par singers (quite a few come to mind). If you don't have them already, pick up both of Trina's previous projects, "Inside My Love" and "Same Girl" and be on the lookout for her new CD, "Life of A Libra" to be release in October/November 2008!
