I find it rather telling to see how smart those interviewed in this documentary sound. Yes 911 was an inside job, yes history is repeating itself, yes, yes, yes to all those questions. I don't think that the constitution can be saved. Another must be drafted, this one is too entrenched in corrupt legislation (or speculative interpretation). The only way I can see to a government that actually has the interest of the people at heart is violent regime change in this country. The american people are too lazy and complacent to start their own revolution, so I think that regime change will come from outside the country. If we keep going like this, someone will invade us.

The U.S. Constitution should remain intact...and the U.S. Government(despite the corruption, subversion, and even treason) should remain strong and respected. It would be nice if that were possible. However our govt is systemically and structurally flawed. The executive has wildly overstepped its original powers, congress has become mired down by pork barrel politics and partisan games to the point of being impotent, imo the constitution as it was written 200 yrs ago has lost much of its power to be understood and instead become the document the supreme court loosely uses to make subjective moral decrees. The Constitution is being subverted and ignored. This is not due to any flaw in the Constitution. The flaw is our neglect and apathy. I agree with you in principle i think, the Constitution is a surprisingly well thought out and long lived document. It'd be nice if the govt respected it, but alas... (for example "congress's" power to declare war has not been exercised since WWII, but how many "conflicts" have we seen since then?). I just dont think that it is possible for the system as it exists now to affect meaningful change or to reverse itself and go back to constitutional basics.
