I thought for sure this program was going to be another whitewash especially coming from the Military Channel. It ended up being a fantastic episode and featured some of the hero veterans (like Col Doug Rokke) who've spearheaded the campaign to prove to the world that Depleted Uranium is the cause of Gulf War Syndrome. The program did fail, however, to mention the number of deaths associated with the disease and the horrific effects on the civilian population.

Sounds like an autoimmune disease to me. Likely caused by a mixture of depleted uranium exposure, toxic vaccines (anthrax, etc.), extreme stress and ingesting aspartame-laced diet drinks that were provided to soldiers in abundance during the Gulf War.

UM, if in standard u.s medical practice,radiologists take measures to avoid repeated exposre to X-rays, it stands to reason that DU rounds, aerosoled, can't be good for you. You are so right. If the DU is embedded in metal, it is not much of a problem. Your clothing itself will shield you from the radiation it emits. But once the metal is blown up (Say by IED's) and the DU is aeerosolized, then you can breathe in the DU and then it can cause cancer and other problems. Our country's bureaucrats are stonewalling us. And betraying the people who were in our military.

I agree, but also note that DU is a byproduct of the nuclear enrichment cycle and as well as being mostly composed of U-238, there are also still traces of the more radioactive U-235, U-234, Americium, Plutonium, Thorium, Strontium-90. All radioactive, and any one of those inhaled would be detrimental and even lethal. That same DU is handled in protective clothing when in civilian storage, but when it gets molded into bullets and armor it magically loses most of its hazardous radiation.

Alginates are in brown seaweed. All the alginates that are needed to fully remove of heavy metals in the human body can be found in brown seaweed. Lamanaria japonica. Please read about DR boyd haley, kentucky university. Youtube his name and watch the vidoes. If you have GWS then you simply have mercury poisoning, please eat brown seaweed to remove this.
