Other things, competetion from other media outlets(cabletv, foreign piratedCDs, internet, etc),people moving on with thier lives with changing taste and behavior, not many want to sit in cinema for 2 - 3h and watch some crap, old skilled artists retired or dead, new generation uninterested or low skilled on movie art and much more.

@Desi4evah yes i totally agree with u.... back in the 50s - 70s the pakistani cinema was thriving and we made some really good films such as Dosti, Aaina etc... but after the 80s it all went downhill .... the films are pathetic now and this is coming from a pakistani guy lolz..... they really need to bring it up to date

There is no reason to compare any of the actresses. Growing up I liked different actresses for different reasons/performances. Even if some one is copying, it is because the director has asked them to do so. Sometimes we just do what we are told instead of raising a fuss. Reading the credits I am thinking this is a Pakistani movie, and if it is, I am quite pleased with the product. We all need to just praise each other and send positive energy in all this negativity.
