  • @PerAnkan lol

  • dont you all find facegen cheating abit?

  • Kinda looks like Jon Rettinger

  • @EagerSleeper lol it does

  • I predict they will use a similar program to make a digital copy of Heath Ledger face. Another Batman movie with the Joker is going to happen in the near future.

  • They will not. They could maybe replicate his head in CG and not be creepy (MAYBE), but who in God's name will do the "acting" part, or the voice? Do you think some animator or voice over actor could've come up with that performance? Not in a million years. And Ledger's family would ever allow his likeness to be used in that regard.

  • Well It's Possible

  • No it's not. They may be able to recreate a lifeless 3D model of Heath Ledger's joker, but an actor has to be driving that mocap performance as they were for the characters in Avatar. Sadly, the one and only actor that could recreate that performance is dead, so end of story.

  • what about his voice? and his acting?

  • amazing

  • try to add more detail on the texture! some bumpmaps or more detailed surface work!!

    but great job!

  • Great job man! Looks like Justin Timparlake << Miss spelled i think :p

  • do you know how to attach the head (made by facegen) to the body (made by poser)?? i tried the compound obj. - connect but the result was always the same, i has those ugly spikes at his neck.

  • nice work - well displayed

  • Hey jda5000

I just brought it straight into 3ds max, then lit with 3 basic omnis, set at fairly high sample levels (to eliminate shaddow flicker)

The version I'm working on now is being tweaked in z brush, where I'm sculpting more details and improving the resolution of the texture maps. The feature film is called "+2" - A science fiction film that will feature lots of cloning effects and virtual stuntmen!

  • Very nice work i made my head in FaceGen then imported it in to 3ds max as well. What type of lighting did you use? what is the name of the feature film?
