Every indigenous people on earth since the beginning of recorded time and beyond have studied the sky and drawn wisdom and insight from their observations. It is only "modern" scientific culture that has so divorced itself from nature that it can longer bear to think their may be meaning beyond what can be scientifically "proven".

So I guess Johannes Kepler and Galileo were dumb then for being practicing professional astrologers who not only invented the physical science of astronomy, but were also deeply mystical, spiritual people who loved and were inspired by the teachings of astrology.

Astrology "works" in an entirely different way than you imagine or have been taught. It is a language of archetypal symbols that describes human character and the process of change through time. It's magical, enchanted world view based in Neoplatonic panentheism has always been a threat to both the religious and scientific establishments. Astrology is ONE of the greatest achievements of humanity.

Most professional astrologers who I've met and interacted with are polymaths - masters of multiple disciplines including mathematics, history, science, language, music, etc. Anything can be used wrong and deemed harmful if it is not used correctly. Why don't you make a video attacking the "wooly thinking" of religions instead of astrology.

The real reason scientific types who have fallen hook line and sinker for the mechanistic universe of four measurable forces (despite the obvious embarrassing fact that the force of consciousness itself allowed them to imagine those forces), is because hybrid fields of knowledge like astrology and alchemy were the originators of modern science.

Kepler, Galileo, Newton, Copernicus, Tycho Brahe, Plato, Aristotle, Socrates, and hundreds of other Great People studied and used the wisdom contained in astrology. Carl Jung said, "Astrology contained all of antiquities psychology. By the way I was a physics major at the University of Colorado with a 4.0 GPA, and I realized that while science has its precision, it's always trying to eliminate consciousness from the equations, and consciousness refuses to be eliminated.

So instead of blindly attacking astrology based on Burma's currency, why not work together with astrologers to help discover an authentic unified field theory that includes the inner realms of the archetypes and the consciousness that pervades the universe instead? Just some thoughts from one who ha studied astrology since 14 and is now 40, and working on epic documentary films that will take authentic astrology straight to the masses.

Astrology has been around for WAY too many years to not even have a clue of mechanism. Also, it's never been shown to work in any way.

You have obviously not studied astrology at all, So, Astrology can be dangerous to society because of something to do with a number, well numerology and astrology have nothing to do with each other that is rubbish. It sucks that astrologers have to defend themselves from people who haven't bothered to research the thing they are knocking. Learn to erect a chart by hand, you will see the complexities of astrology then. Once you have done this come back & post a video about how wrong you were.

It is the concept of astrology which is wrong. Dawkins gets annoyed when creationists mention "chance", so astrologers should when skeptics mention causality, i.e. planets influencing man's fate.

Causality (particle-physics, cause-effect) is not part of it, it is synchronicity, which means that an aspect on the horoscope will always be available for a semantic and qualitative link to an event.

For instance, at the moment is the strangest alignement of glyphs (not planets)....

...all the big/slow planets are on the 12st degrees of their respective signs, which means (according to astrology) they are all converging for a (mostly) negative aspect. Most astrologers will conect this with the Obama administration and it rocky changes. It is not the CAUSE of this happening, but it is SYNCHRONIZED TO the happening, the thing is all meaningful events may have a positve or negative aspect the same time. So, to prove astrology wrong (by allmeans try) you have to look at these..
