So i reckon hobbiton is hobbitland and the shire is part of it.

i checked its part of the old kingdom of arnor arnor was founded by isildur's dad and that was in this region of middle of a very large region called Eriador

so its in eriador and more specifically the kingdom of arnor

Reminds me of the game called "agony" at the beginning, but is a very nice composition.

BTW; the kind of cadence and style that you gave to this theme, it suits more as part of the story, instead of being the main theme; just a suggestion; since is very melancholy and introspective, while usually the main themes have a different feeling :)

yeah, you could definitely get far with this music. except im not sure it fits the lord of the rings. its really great though. maybe if you add more string instruments such as cello, violin, string bass, viola, etc., and even brass instruments like trumpet, trombone, and any kind of horn like Shore did, it would still sound amazing and it would fit a little better with the lord of the rings, but this is really good.

If I were to be critical, I would say that this is indeed very theme-like - good for a soundtrack. Movie music doesn't always contain the pop rigidity of "beginning-verse-chorus-verse-­bridge-guitarsolo-end-Amen (generic example)". However, I'm sure you're aware of that, and it's hard to make movie music without the scene made for you first of all. IF you were already aware of this, I'll stfu now and leave you alone. Otherwise, that's my advice! Thanks for sharing your talent!

Thanks for the mail and.. Yes, It's a good song.. But if you look into Howard Shores music from the Lord of the Rings.. he did NOT use the piano.. It gives a diffirent feeling.. But the song is great, but I do not think it fits..

@Icefloris Although he doesn't use much piano in LOTR, Howard Shore still used it. In many pieces it can be heard in the background to give even more emotional effect and in some it even takes the foreground as the main instrument. Speaking of Howard Shore and piano pieces. Have you or anyone reading this, heard his Eclipse score. It's an entirely piano built and sustained score. It is mind-blowingly beautiful, almost as beautiful as the previous New Moon score by Alexandre Desplat.

This is beautiful music, but think that it just isnt proper for this story. This is escentially a song that talks about peace, and in the hobbit there are many thrilling parts. But that's just me. I am no expert. Its my humble opinion.
