That's my alma mater & my phrat brother (Josh Stroman)!!! GREAT JOB, BC!!!! You made an alumni VERY proud!!! BC! BC! You Know! You Know! Yes, we can [and we will]!!!
THANK YOU! If you have already VOTED to support Obama and don't get discouraged if your state didn't put Obama at the top: Wondering what else YOU can do? How YOU can make a difference? How YOU can have your voice HEARD over the chorus of cynics? Visit Obama's website and DONATE your support. Email this video to EVERYONE. Post it on blogs. CHANGE is happening NOW America. Be a PART of it. Let's get it RIGHT this time. YES WE CAN! Obama/(Sebelius or McCaskill)08
Proud young Black students just paraded around their campus to ensure that their peers got out to vote. They rejoiced with Barack Obama upon hearing of his victory. They helped to move the country in a notably different direction. I can't stop crying. How proud I am to be an American today!
Obama is the face of hope for the country and the world. He symbolizes what America has wanted to be symbolic of for so long. The old ways of doing things have expired. We need a fresh outlook. Let's make change a reality, and hope a destiny where we will all meet each other and say, "finally, we're here".
Terrific video that reaslly shows how Obama is changing the process and energizing people who have never participated before. No one in modern history has done more to counter voter apathy than Obama. That's what being a true LEADER is all about, not having deep pockets with corporations. The best are born that way and experience only adds to it.
Did I say I love this video? Well if I did, lemme say it again. Love it. I've spammed sent it to so many people. This video makes me cry every time. Obama is our next president yall. Yes We Can !!!!!
Overjoyed, is an understatement. I love what Obama is doing in this country. He has class. I haven't seen this kind of impeccable behavior from any other candidate in over 30 years. God bless you Obama. You are one hell of a man. You have inspired all of us. You will be a great president. Obama08!!!!
Cursed Michigan Supreme Court... I wanted to be part of something like this. I wanted to drink to his victory in Michigan, but they threw out all our delegates.
Concrete reasons, he has the ability to unite the country, his universal healthcare plan will be affordable for those who want it versus Hillary's plan in which she wants to mandate health care,Obama opposed the war from the start, look at the 2002 speech, keep in mind this was not easy to do at a time where Colin Powell, Hillary and others were saying "yes", Barack Obama said "no" to this war, he has a clearer plan for how to get us out of the war, McDonald's that's an ad, this is the real deal
Other than the fact that this guy is black and went to Punahou, I know little about him. Do the people in the video know something more than that?
Watching him on TV makes me think I should vote for him, but I am always left wanting a more concrete reason. He and Hilary keep bantering back and forth but neither of them say anything.
This reminds me of a McDonalds commercial that has soul music in the background and has no white actors like McDonalds cares about black people or something.
I saw this and realized that rarely do I see African American males smiling and happy. They always look mean, scary, mad, angry, upset ready to fight. The rap videos suggest signs of clinical depression and suicidal and homicidal ideation. Thank you for this video because I see young black men who are truly happy. Even if Barack Obama does not win, look at what he has done. Some of these young men may very well go into politics because of one person. I see change already. Yes we can.
Does it amaze anyone else how people seem to only get "fired up" for politics every four years? Most people just like to spend the rest of the time complaining about the people that they voted for in the last election because they didn't come through with the things that they promised in their campaigns.
Yep. I was one of those white Iowa voters walking through the heavy snows to get in and support Barack Obama! Iowa is one of the whitest states in the nation. I can't tell you (and the guy/gal who said "they're all black") how happy it makes me to be supporting someone who is loved by people of many skin colors. Finally, we can agree on something powerful! Yes, We Can!!!!
Thank you bitterfly and thank you IOWA!!!!!!! Things may have been different now if it were not for your great state. I love the fact that all people of different colors, religions and backgrounds can come together SO enthusiastically to support a Presidential candidate. Even people who NEVER cared before are coming out in hoards! Change is definitely in the air!
Experience? A lump of clay would have done less damage to America as president than Bush has. Barak has more experience than Lincoln did before he was president. He turned out pretty good.
And Abraham Lincoln like Barack was a young talented speaker from Illinois, so why don't the people of Illinois just barrack the vote. I also propose that the word to barrack be added to the Oxford dictionary and this is a Ugandan enjoying change from the coldness here in Tokyo, Japan.
The point's not whether or not they're black; the point is that they're voting. Who cares who they're voting for? Everyone should vote, because it is YOUR PRIVILEGE. Use it.
i am soooo proud of my home state!! i am not in the States at the moment but i get to feel the energy of the people of South Carolina through Youtube.
Come on USA ..... get out the vote all over the country .. it'll be so refreshing to have someone honest, intelligent and interesting in the Oval office.
You guys rock! Its cool to see that people everywhere are as excited as we are here in Iowa! It began here but you guys are making it happen everywhere else!
Well done. Good observation. I too am disappointed that in our great land of equal opportunity there exist ghettos consisting almost entirely of disenfranchised blacks. To see the young men and women featured in this video inspired to participate in our political process as they did makes me realize that THE CHANGE I DESIRE IS ALREADY UPON US. THANK YOU SOUTH CAROLINA!
I for one am glad to see a group that statistically doesnt have huge voter turn out (black young men) being prompted to do it now because of Obama, someone they believe in enough and have faith that can change how america has been run. Whats the problem with that?
No, I didn't notice it. The same way I didn't notice that the enthusiastic students in Iowa were white. I did notice how motivated they were. I did notice that they have something in common with some many other people all over the USA! They found out that with HOPE and hard work we can change the world!
Hopefully we do this in November and elect Barack Obama the President of the United States!
