The comments by some on this page are appalling. If the situation were reversed in which their history was cut out from under them and their women and children were brutalized by those who didn't even see them as human. If their ancestors forced build a nation and its institutions , but were denied it's prosperity via the Slave Laws and Jim Crow, then I think they would be much more understanding. Please learn the history of African and African-Americans before you blow it off as whining.

I just wonder: Exactly how much "reparations" will we whites have

to pay (on top of all the "reparations" we've already paid in terms

of welfare, Pell Grants, food stamps, affirmative action, public housing,

and numerous other freebies, not to mention 400,000 lives in the Civil

War) in order for blacks to FINALLY feel they have been "paid back".

I also wonder when blacks are going to finally stop feeling sorry for

themselves.
