I love this and its sister piece "Tanin no Kanshou" because they both show just how brutal and raw the JSSDF's assault on NERV Headquarters really is. It's like they don't even give a shit they're horribly murdering others of not only their own species, but their own NATIONALITY, and only because Gendo Ikari and SEELE are dickheads.

Essentially, Humanity, AKA the Lilim, are the final Angel that NERV is forced to face, and they lose, because they're totally unprepared for an attack by HUMANS.
