Why will you be at peace and at rest? According to atheists, there is nothing at death and so therefore you will be nothing and at nothing. All that you have done and accomplished will be completely gone within 50 years or so unless you happen to become famous. Aside from some genetic material if you have children. If you are famous, give it another 100 years or so to disappear completely. This gives you comfort? At best, most will be a footnote in a census log. I'll take Christ, thank you.

Religion has been winning for a very long time........it is still way, way ahead, but Atheism in very slowly gaining momentum, and it's becoming far far less stigmatized . Atheists aren't inherently bad people. Hitler was bad, so was Stalin, but so have HUNDREDS of Catholic priests with child abuse. Bush sent thousands to their deaths... There are good and bad Chritians, Atheists, Hindu's and every other religion. Lsck of faith just means the ability to reason over your own emotions.

The woman being raped is being made to bear the child of the rapist, this is not your choice to stop her aborting or a magical man in the sky.
Maybe if you were the one raped and you were one one carrying the foetus you would feel different, easy to make decisions when you are not the one implied in the outcome.

@vikingcrest12 The current time to abort is 16 weeks, at this point the nervous system has not attached itself to the brain, i would consider this ok to abort as the foetus is not viable to survive outside.
To say a collection of cells, which is what a foetus is until mid pregnancy, is a fully fledged human being is ridiculous as is most of the religious beliefs you spout.
Stay in your churches and leave the rest of the world out of your pompus and crazy beliefs.

Jesus also says "Those who deny my name will be forgiven but those he deny the holy spirit will not be forgiven" I think that The Vatican II Document Nostra Aetate is fundamental in all of this.
