Its supposed to have just stock pickups, but the have esp writen on them and all the others that I've seen have nothing on them, so god knows, I'm just grateful because they seem to sustain a note forever!

I dont really like active pickups, the only real advantage I've found with them is that it totally reduces amp and lead hissing. and you need to put batterys in them, do you not? thanks for the info there!
I have grown to like LTDs too, this is my first one so I need to save up and get an ESP now, if their cheap line of guitars is this good then a proper ESP must be amazing:D

I have had a go of a few ESP, and the tone doesnt seem to disimiliar to the LTD, obviously my guitar doesnt have EMG's in it.
