  • @SSJkiller lol

  • factual Asian brides are there *lushfmlk.info*

  • why in the world would AMERICA allow their food companies to lie and do all these bad things to our food?

do other countries do this to their foods too?

    why is America so selfish?!!

  • Thank you Natalie! I'm amazed at how deceptive packaging is!!

  • So High LDL is caused from Saturated fats. I thought it was from cooking with high temp vegetable oils etc.

  • well anyone whos got a brain will use it thats why i dont buy supermarket food i goto a butchers bakery and farm for dairy veg and fruit .

  • Thankyou Natalie, I think these videos are great and I just wish I'd had someone around from my childhood (like a teacher at school) to tell me all of this stuff then, I've been going through hell with IBS for the last year and I truly thank you for giving me this advice, I have a feeling I'll be getting better pretty soon! x

  • Ok but technically isn't diarrhea a remedy towards constipation?

  • are rolled oats ok to eat?

  • sure, but why not eat steel cut? gives you much more fiber and absorbs more slowly preventing blood sugar spikes.

  • does rolled oats spike up blood sugar?

  • not really bad, but they are not nearly as good as the oat groats or steel cut.

  • Thanks for sharing this valuable information. It really helps consumers to make better choices.

  • Thank-you for this great informations to the people to be informed how to get their nutrition from the right source .

  • cool as thanks for the low down

  • thanks honey for such extended teachings... you are gorgeous in all ways

  • Lol whats with the 'honey' ?

  • My recommendation is to make "green smoothies", just put fruits and vegitables in a blender and drink. It has changed my whole way of getting nutrition from raw foods I would not normally eat.

  • Great video!

  • So is eating oats bad? or just the isolated oat fiber?

  • just the isolated oat fiber. whole oats are good.

  • HURRAY! I'm not as screwed as i thought i was....

    possiblly...

Now to binge like a horse!

  • Your the best Natalie Thanks for this

    5Starz

  • I think you are great,I learn so much from your videos and you prove the stuff I instinctively knew to be right..I am subscriving, thank you..Love from Norway..

  • Yes! Everyone can benefit from FIBER! Yet 9 out of 10 people don't even get HALF of their daily amount. Learn how to get 12.5grams from one health beverage. NUVITAE(.COM) / DRINK2YOURHEALTH

  • oat fiber- does that mean like oat meal?

  • oatmeal is a-okay.

  • where is the breastfeeding video???

  • I Love this

  • you're pretty =]

    and smart

    awesome!

  • Aspartame is poison. It also goes by the name phenylalamine or phenylkeltonics and is found as a flavoring in gums, candy and many processed foods. Unfortunately, this flavoring has a checkered history. Many suppressed test studies showed that the aspartame gives test rats brain lesions. If you want to find out the nasty side of aspertame, please watch the videos "Sweet Misery" right here on YouTube.

  • I bought yoplait fiber one....would this be a good source of fiber? I didn't notice untill I got home . In big print it reads "naturally flavored", but then you read the small print and it says "contains no fruit"? And one last question....what is apartame? Is it healthy?

  • no! it's not healthy! and it's really sad because I can't ever find any sugar free gum with xylitol that DOESN'T have aspartame! it's aspartame insane!

  • you can buy mints from nature's sunshine without aspartame, made with xylitol. they're really good.

  • You are really hot.

  • Oat bran should be fine though, right?

  • i like these vids..there very informative u seem pleasant...i'm wishing i was in school for nutrition like u instead of psycholgy right now cuz eventhough i like psych it can be kinda depressing and such

  • seems to me with the public opinion now believing that what you eat can determine your mood (which i personally find to be true) it seems like you would be very well equipped to help others and yourself by double majoring in nutrition or something of the sort.

one specialty is never enough; you must always grow your abilities and skillset to grow your income and your mind.

  • I'm very thankful to you and your videos. Without this video in particular, I believe I would have never known. Well, at least for another 5 years or so...when the news finally would have reported this. When I think about everything that multi-corporations, the government, and all their affiliates lie to us about, it truly saddens me. I'm just grateful that we do have honest people in this world (like you), who provide us with this important information. Thank you. :0)

  • Don't these separated substances also contain free glutamic acid?

  • It seems like you cant buy anything in supermarkets anymore that is affordable and healthy!

  • This has really changed my view on looking at food labels more. And to think that I bought Fiber One bars just to get my 35% of daily fiber!!!

  • i buy those because they're damn tasty; i rely upon vegetables for my real fiber :p

  • very professional in the way this topic and video is presented, i found it useful thank you.

  • Stumbled upon your videos on Youtube and love them! I am learing so much and feel it will really improve my life! Keep up the great work and I look forward to more videos!

    Julie

  • Very informative! Thanks for this video!

  • If Natalie was a fiber, I'd eat her all day. :-)

  • Lol!

  • Thanks for that warning!!!!

  • Good info that really goes to the heart

of corporate food manipulation to get

    you to buy their product.

  • Awesome videos, So informative, thank you for Posting :)

  • damn, now i gotta go check my weet bix, by the way the background kinda reminds of Windows XP desktop lol

  • Wow, I never knew that. Have you ever heard of GNU or oh! mega raw food bars? I think both are raw and both have about 50% of our daily fiber. Do you know if they contain "real" fiber?

  • I love Gnu "flavor & fiber" bars!! :) They was reccomended to me by my nutrition professor who is an RD..I eat one everyday and so does she! lol

  • Yes deceptive labels!

I would love it if you could explain the difference btwn good fat and bad fat in relation to labels. Such as, eating regular cream cheese is more healthy than eating light cream cheese because nutrients are removed and "bad" things are added.

Ironically, the only people I see buying products that have labels "low fat, light & diet" are the ones who are overweight. Now what came first, the obesity or the purchasing of these foods?

  • Yep that's would be a good video.

I think the largest factor in obesity is refined carbs; high fructose corn syrup, bleached white flour, refined white sugar, and potatoes though.

  • I don't understand the relationship between fat gain and those types of High GI carbs.

I know that it's an issue about more than just creating a simple caloric surplus by consuming excess sugars.

It might have something to do with insulin and fat soring enzymes, but I'm not a doctor or professional dietitian.

Can you recommend any books that will explain the topic in full detail?

  • this is great info! i really didn't know about "fake" fibers before. thanks.

  • great video as usual your videos are very informative. i'm lookin forward to the truth about alcohol video.

  • Love you!!! Thanks for the great information.

  • One of the next videos is about the benefits of breast feeding. That will help a friend of mine but the other is the truth about alcohol? I feel one of my favorite hobbies is going down in flames.

  • Tell your husband to call me if he ever has a complaint about you, I will easily convince him otherwise.

We have a small organic farm and grow/raise/preserve most of the food we eat. We even give our dairy goats and poultry sprouted grains.

Please keep the videos coming, I've seen most of them multiple times and usually take notes.

    Thanks

  • love your videos so much is hidden from us by the big companies.

  • I was wondering if methyl cellulose is a "real" or good fibre? I've seen it in suplement form.

Interesting video, thanks! I was surprised to hear "oat fibre" in there, it sounds so natural! :)

  • Green Peas! I put them in my green smoothies.

Also has a good protein content. Read the lables.

  • i think apple pectin is good for u

  • What's wrong with oat fiber? What about eating steel cut oats? I stick mostly to apples. I think they are high fiber. Nice shirt btw

  • Great fibre and nutritional awareness beyond the commercial food technology industry ,like the past decade of the genetic modification GM/GE in foods and environment debate in some countries there must be honest and available labelling. Thanks for the public service without an alarmist edge.Go well, good health for all.

  • Excuse me I am not finding anything on the internet that confirms that what you say is true. If you have a source to show me I'd be happy to see it!

  • It's hard to go wrong with whole grains, sprouted grains, in my opinion. Now I feel old...woot fiber.

  • I love your videos.

  • Great job! Keep the truth coming.

  • Keep up the great work! =)

  • Three words: Whole Psyllium Husks. Best fiber supplement you can take and cheap too. 2-3 Tablespoons/day with LOTS of water. Along with excellent regularity, Psyllium also acts like a scrubber, helping to clean out mucoid plaque from the intestines, and Psyllium provides a food source for natural bacteria in the gut.

  • I am interested in foods for better health. In my research I have found that burdock is very good for you. One of the plants components is inulin which they classify as a carbohydrate not fiber. Are they mistaken?

  • Nice job. Who'd of thunk it?

  • Your hot fiber baby!

  • You are so gorgeous it is distracting. Please find a more homely-looking girl to front these videos.

I love you. In a purely anti-stakling, non-creepy way, of course.

  • real food is probably the only really good fiber source, like vegetables, fruit and grains.

  • Colon Blow is pretty effective too, though.

  • I have had this question before about those fiber fortified products but wasn't sure where to find the answer. Thanks for posting!

  • you want fiber? EAT AVOCADOS!!

one of the most nutricious foods ever!

loaded with tons of fiber, potassium, healthy unsaturated fats, and lots of vitamins!

  • I second that. I love Avocados!!

  • Of course companies lie to you. All they care about is making a profit. Anyone with a brain knows this.

  • There are a lot of people with brains that don't have access to information.

  • Outstanding video Natalie. I had no idea that there were "fake" fibers out there. Thank you for all you guys do. The information is priceless and if it were not for you, I would never have known this. Thank you.

  • I'm adding to this to my playlist! thank you for the information! Check out my playlists! The main ones are The Upward SPiral and The Chaotic Precursor. Hope to see more of you!

  • Great video Ma'am...

Just the tip of the big business capitalize money hungry rich!

  • i love all your videos its like school but the information is actually useful:]

  • wtf why would anyone question if alcohol is good for someone? if it has a bad and a good effect then fuck the bad and the good and just dont have it.

  • Oh Natalie, You are an Angel. I love you!

  • I can't thank you all enough for all the hard work and all the great videos. I recommend your channel to whoever will listen.. keep it up!:D

  • I've told u this many times probably but I am very impressed by how hard you guys work! It's hard for this conservative Republican from Iowa to agree with all of the content of some of your videos (discounting Natalie) but I hope you are able to earn a little income from all of this because your dedication is noticed.

  • no alcohol? no breastfeeding? damn, there goes my whole weekend! x)

  • Thank you for providing such a valuable service. Keep up the good work!

  • I like your videos cuz you actually went to school to help people and are actually helping other people big ups to that.. I myself have been thinking about becoming something like this so I too can actually learn something that will benefit others

  • Good Video !

  • Thanks for all your videos Natalie. I wish they'd been around while I was in high school, I may have made some different choices about my health!

  • Hey thanks for sharing.

It's good to get info in less than 10 minutes which can change your life for the better.

Of course some things take longer. But hey, this is the now and the future of sharing info.

I look forward to your videos and those of your fellow Psyche Truth team.

  • Thank you so much for posting this information, and telling people what they need to know, regardless of whether they want to know it or not. Poor diet, and mal-norishment, are one of the serious causes of the current major health related issues we are facing. Getting the real truth, not what food companies want us to know is vital to spreading the information that individuals really need to know, empowering people to take back responsibility for their own wellness, if they choose to do so.

  • Food makers don't have to lie. They also don't have to explain to you the details either.

That just doesn't sound good does it,, "Food Makers".

  • Whole rolled oats every morning with a handful of nuts - yum!

Have to rush to the loo about 2 hours later LOL

  • Information the world needs! Good job!

  • Natalie you are a darling and you provide really useful and important information, thanks so much!

  • Hi Natalie, looking forward to you video on alcohol.

  • Natalie for President!

    :D

  • screw the gorcery store...i go to WHOLE foods. must be real fiber because I go to the bathroom all of the time.

  • tmi

  • get over it...everyone goes to the bathroom. stop being so sensitive.

  • YuK fake fiber! what the heck is this world doing just to make a buck~!

  • Here's my favorite high-fiber breakfast:

Buckwheat pancake (cooked on a cast iron griddle) topped with organic peanut butter, organic pumpkin seeds, organic plain yogourt and dried goji berries.

    Truly yummy :)

  • How can we tell what's really high in fiber and what's not?

  • try to eat more whole foods and less processed ones.

  • This was a great follow up video for me to watch, after watching your video on unhealthy cereal. I switched from eating Toasted Rice cereal to a multi-grain cereal with five grams of fiber. And I've noticed I eat less and stay full longer. The bowl I have is designed, so that cereal filled to the middle line is exactly 1 cup. With skim milk a bowl is 200 calories. I recommend others measure a out a cup and then take note of what it looks like in a bowl. It helps with portion sizing and calories.

  • Ok, also sent an email to McCain.

  • Ok, I sent an email to the Obama website to get him to add nutrition to his campaign platform. However more specifically to get him to appoint Natalie to be in charge of Nutrition and hopefully get her to promote nutrition in preschool, elementary and high school. The perfect answer to lowering our healthcare expenses in the United States. Thumbs up Madame Secretary! You Rock!

  • Liked that'd ever happen. When has the government ever had one competent person working for it?

  • Maybe not but who ever reads the e-mail will think that this issue on the platform might not be a bad thing?! It's a very non-partisan issue and what mother or anyone for that matter would disagree with it? The main point is getting the thought out there in hopes that in the end the country will reexamine issues of nutrition and health. To help eliminate the excess cost of healthcare and prevent catastrophic illnesses can only help the US so we can concentrate our resources in other areas.

  • Nat, the link to your website in your info block is wrong...

  • You know Natalie is so informative I think she should be Secretary of Health and Human Services and Secretary of Education. Imagine if she were in charge she could get Nutrition taught at preschool and elementary school levels so that all of us will start at an early age to striving to be healthy. Imagine if all of our kids learned this stuff earlier; then obesity wouldn't be a problem in America. Note to self send Obama and McCain an email to mention Natalie as an adviser in the Oval Office.

  • Just want to say that I hope you keep up the good work.

  • Thanks Nat = ]

  • Good video. Looking forward to the one on alcohol!

  • High fiber?? No High cardboard. LOL. For high fiber eat more beans. I think Polydextrose is the most common, I think.

  • Yeah I was thinking the same thing. I remember reading about the steamed buns in China that were filled with cardboard. I think the guys who were making them were doing their customers a service.

  • Hey how come you didnt give examples of what is considered good fiber sources? Only fruits and vegetables?

  • Is Inulin bad? What bacteria does it promote?

And why would there fake fiber sources be so popular over fruits and veggies?

  • Thanks Natalie, I always learn a lot from your videos! This one was very informative!

  • Hi Natalie, i would love to see you go over the benefits of Millet over other grains, or so i have heard it is one the best out there, even if they may not contain gluten to raise bread.

Ps how much Soluble fiber do we need in a day? keep the great work up, love the vids!

  • So like for cereal or something, whats a good cereal for fiber. I recently got the Fiber One cereal, but I read on the ingredients that it has inulin. It says whole grain and 51% fiber on the front of the box. So is cereal like this just BS?

    And Thanks for the vid.

  • I would say ,don't know for sure, Wheat bran, Oat bran, corn bran and other ingredients like that are good fibers that you should be looking for.

  • A few videos back Nat suggested a few cereals

  • just another reason why it is best to stick to whole foods from nature - why wouldn't they put cheap crap in packaged foods?

  • Natalie, thanks to you, I now expand my no-x clause list from just high fructose corn syrup and aspartame to adding the fake fibers.

    Keep up the good work.

  • I love watching your videos! This help me. I demo food products at Whole Foods. One product I demo is Attune probiotic bars. They have probiotic but I also have to mention that it has Fiber. The fiber is inulin. Now I know what inulin is. Fake fiber! So sad how food companies lie!

  • Natalie, if there is something that you want us to remember, then please type the information into the grey box at the side, so that we can copy and paste. Trying to remember a list of facts from the video is harder to remember than a list of facts in text form. At least, it is for me.

  • I forgot to say thanks. Thanks! :^)

  • OK To the question, "Are companies lying to you about the food that you are buying?", I would ask the following, "If they are making money and they can get away with it, ALL companies will lie to you about the products and service they sell."

  • thanks natalie. Very informative.

  • Well, at least in the US, these packaged food manufacturers are forced to be honest on the Nutrition Facts.

Thanks for the info - now I realize how ill informed we are about the food we eat every day.

  • Natlaie you are sooo hot. I love your content and I love watching you.

  • would you recommend metamucil if people need fiber, or as a laxative???

  • Fake Fiber? How dare they...

  • you are so cuite

  • I've been adding organic cold milled flax to salads daily. I heard this was a good source o

of fiber, whats your take on this?

I am learning a ton of good stuff from phychetruth and especially N by N.

    Thanks

  • Thank you. I have learned so much from your vids.

  • natalie would you recomend the raw food diet???????

  • Great video Natalie! I am very interested in nutritional based information and I read about it constantly (I would like to be a nutritionist one day), thank you for teaching me something new every video, keep it up.

  • I'll tell you one annoying thing I'm seeing all over labels these days. On sweet baked goods like Oreo's and shit, all I keep seeing is "0 grams trans fat," they print it like they think it'll make everyone think that stuff is actually healthy. Then you look at the ingredients and the first one listed is sugar.

  • Thanks Natalie, great info as always!

  • What can I say that I have not already said:

Beautiful, smart, caring compelling and did I say yummy to the bone! Thanks Natalie!

  • Wouldn't the laxative effect of the fake fiber promote regularity?

  • I love you an that other chick that be talking about mind control really i do!!!!

    she hot! an your sweet

  • lol, true dat.

  • Yes, they're lYing about the food we're buYing and the lYing is nothing new to us.

  • thank's for all your video's. question: is grinding or milling hole wheat[the whole grain seed] and then making home made bread, the fresh bread that can go rancid in a few days,is this kind of bread good fiber?
