  • You might want to get a real big icing tip they sell them at Michaels or a craft store. Get a big coupler for it too. The smaller tips just dont do well. Hope this helps.

  • @ThreeSistersSoap Thanks for the tip (no pun intended). Since making these I've watched a few soapers and cake makers do the frosting. I think my problem was the soap was thick enough.

  • @SilkBathLuxuries - Thanks for the tip. This is more fun than using a gig saw in the wood working classes I took in highschool way back when .

  • Yes, stick blend the frosting a bit more next time and let it sit for 5 10 min for pudding like texture, take your time with each cupcake and halve fun :O) I might make some this week!!

  • @HappyBubblesSoap I love a challenge! I'll do them again. They actually came out pretty yummy looking. I'll have them up on YT in a montage in about 4 weeks.

  • @mbjlhj - Thank you for the advise. I think I'll go with cream cheese icing in the description. I took them out of the freezer and dusted them with cocoa. They look and smell like you want to eat them! The little bunt is adorable. Will probably ice it with white melt and pour.

I am a soap making addict!

  • @Seedcovers Thank you! I was watching others use those buckets and I found them at Walmart. Love them!

  • I love those big buckets you use, looks very convenient. I think your cuppie cakes came out cute anyway!

  • I think your cupcakes look good for your first time doing them. What seems to help the soap frosting set up w/o coming out before time is to just give the tip end a couple of twists before putting it down in the cup. So you can just let it sit for several minutes until it gets really thick. I bet yours smell delicious! The icing looks like yummy cream cheese icing. Goodness, you've just made me hungry! lol

  • Cupcakes are very hard for me to work with.. I just cant get my piped frosted to look right.. LOL.. Yours look yummy..
