  • Mace is a good friend of my sons. after this happened his family filed a lawsuit against the ozark pd . and guess what!! Mace all of sudden was charged with a felony crime Hmmm intimidation any one. Ozark pd is not the only corrupt pd down here. check out stone county. They write their own laws and constitution to suit them if the courts in stone county were investigated under cover they would have many arrests made here. they abuse the US and missouri constitution on a daily basis

  • hahahahahahaha that is some funny shit. the sob got what he got

  • Well I read most of these comments and seen how most of these people love their cops and havent actually read into any of these stories. I agree with the producer of this video, cops are taking their *right to taze* to the extremes. any man with a broken back will not be physically able to cause much harm to anybody especially a beefed up porky the pig in a bullet proof vest. why? u ask well lets see here..... HE HAS A BROKEN BACK!!! u dont need a fucking x-ray if a man cant move somethings up.

  • It's obvious that the police are the common enemy of the people we all should demand that the police protect the constitution of the United State if they violate our rights they should go to prison The constitution more important than the rich people that they protect, they do not protect the average citizen The only thing that police give the average citizen is a traffic ticket that backdoor 4 the powerful people wife and I taking out our motor home and beaten jailed police will hurt you.

  • great video. but the answer to this is not for people to go out and sue the cops. taht's the problem with american justice. you all sue each other and end up ruining the prosecution...

  • The cops OBVIOUSLY caused the fall and are covering up. The only other explanation is 1) they arrived on the scene to find an injured person with a broken back lying on the ground 2) they tased him. Give me a break.

  • i used to live in ozark im in springfield now and i moved to get away from ozark cops if a cop saw me driving i was pulled over since i moved i havent even been pulled over for anything

  • it won't let me post a link. However just go to ky3dot com and type in mace hutchinson. the article about the probe in to the tasering case has the link with the official procecutor's report

  • The kid admitted to having a bad trip on LSD and tested positive for pot. He had been running aroud the woods high and paranoid after jumping out of a movng car. He was also banging on the car of the couple that called the cops. they tasered him because he kept trying to move toward the traffic. The reason for the multiple shots was because he wasn't responding to the first couple. They didn't know if the prongs had good contact. to see the official procecutor report follow the link.

  • The point is Police arent just making mistakes sometimes, they are making them all the time. Shit people call the cops for a kid walking down the road. It doesnt suprize me, cops have been at my door after neighbors called 911 and said I was beating my kids when all I did was yell at the dog to go outside after it shit in my living room. Son of a bitch pulled out his taser when I asked to see a warrant, I closed the fucking door and locked it. Never did see a warrant, and they never came back.

  • ....I live in Ozark...that was bull shit the cops didnt get arrested...fuckin Sherrif Hodges

  • The cops didn't get arrested, because they didn't get anything wrong.

  • "I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs."

  • I agree. No more tasers. Just go back to guns only. You are an idiot. By the way, Mace Hutchison was on LSD. Don't believe me? Look it up. Might want to use better sources for your argument.

  • Do Police make mistakes? Of course they do, they're only human. Are they ALL corrupt? By no means. Making such blanket statements is as stupid as it is inflamitory. People need to take each situation on a case by case basis & not superimpose their personal prejudices & preconcieved notions onto a situation. THAT is my point.

  • 1) I do not hate police, that is not my personal prejudice.

    2) I listed events.

    3) What is YOUR take on Meyer, exactly?

    4) I said they used it 19 times, which is recorded. All 19 may not have hit, but that's not the point now is it?

    5) The police video will likely never be seen.

    6) I do not think all cops are corrupt.

    7) This video is only for opinion, so I'll do what I want, thanks :)

  • My take on Meyer? He was convicted for his misbehavior. If he showed up at a forum I was running he would have been thrown out on his ass much earlier. Given that he ignored the forum rules, and ignored a lawful order to leave, and then resisted the police enforcing a lawful order, he deserved every joule they gave him.

And he is damn lucky the secret service didn't get involved.

  • If your comments on Meyer are indication of how well you researched any of this before creating this video then everything you say is suspect & each person should do their own research into the matter & decide for themselves what the truth is. Also, I love how you say, "The Police went on to use the taser 19 times." Really? How do you know that? Where you there? Did you see a video of this? It's SPECULATED that it was UP TO 19 times but since we don't have all the facts we don't know now do we?

  • rummy thinks that if the taser was used ONLY 14 times that would have made all the difference

"People need to take each situation on a case by case basis & not superimpose their personal prejudices & preconcieved notions onto a situation. THAT is my point."

its a good one, perhaps you should try it sometime instead of just telling others to

once again we see proof that the policy regarding taser use leaves too much room for abuse

  • "It's SPECULATED that it was UP TO 19 times but since we don't have all the facts we don't know now do we? "

turns out it was 9 shots from each of 2 cops

what were these cops asking him do that he refused? this guys analysis is spot on, except meyer was tased for not giving up his second hand to be cuffed

electrocution for coersion is torture plain & simple

canada does not allow it, i suggest americans lobby to follow canada's more sane regulations

  • Yeah, the guy that made this video is a fucking genius. Throw in legitimate wrongs with speculation & absolute bullshit to try to make your personal prejudices look like irrefutable proof. Some moron said I should watch this & if your comments on Meyer are any indication of how much research your dumb ass did prior to making this video then pretty much everything you say can't be believed without every person doing their own research into the facts. I love how you say he WAS tased 19 times,.....

  • These goddamn cops that are going along with this martial law shit! They actually think that they're doing the right thing. But they just don't realize that they've been brainwashed. Of course some of them actually enjoy watching people suffer by inflicting pain on them. The ones who are into CONTROL AND TORTURE of people. Goddamn sadists is what they are!

  • I think this video asks a lot of important questions that aren't being answered by the OPD. I asked the same questions that are in the video after watching the story on KY3. How could this young man respond correctly to what they wanted with a broken back? Was he not moving quickly enough for them? He quite simply could not. I personally am not willing to eat another spoonful of lies because they can't provide anything better than him saying, "Kill Cops." I don't buy it. Think about it folks.

  • america is fuked up, nice people, but fuked up

  • The producer of this video is a flake......I was an officer of this Department for many years, and know those involved.......They acted professionally and most likely saved Mace's life.

Did the police have an ex-ray machine on their person to know this subjects back was broken?? Have you ever dealt with a violent person that is under the influence of drugs? I doubt it........

  • Regardless of what you know of those involved, you were just as much not there as I was. I still stand by the belief that requiring a taser to restrain a person from walking into a relatively low traffic highway doesn't add up.

And again, what did he do that was actually VIOLENT? The words he may or may not have said aren't enough, in my opinion.

  • "I still stand by the belief that requiring a taser to restrain a person from walking into a relatively low traffic highway doesn't add up."

That in itself could cause the person to become confused and dazed and he/she would want to get away from the possibility of being tased again and accidentally run in front of a car. Or in the case of the man that fell from the pedestrian bridge. I agree with you 100%.

  • rick miles? is that you?

"Did the police have an ex-ray machine on their person to know this subjects back was broken?"

you guys will go to any length to justify bad judgement

are you seriously saying someone in that condition was a threat in any way?

and what did they think the taser would do? its not a tranquilizer

    "influence of drugs"

because you are all so paranoid about violent drug users this excuse gets trumpeted even for a broken 16yr old boy under a bridge

    "They acted" irresponsibly

  • @rmls34 ...YEAH BY GIVING HIM SOME BOLT'S TO HIS BRAIN..MABY, JUST MABY YOU'VE DONE THE SAME BEFORE..AN THEIR WAS KNOW TYPE OF DRUG'S FOUND ON HIS PERSON..JUST ADMIT COP'S ARE JUST AS CORRUPT AS STREET CRIMANAL'S,ONLY U HAVE A BAGDE WITCH SAY'S ANY THING U DO THAT BAGDE WILL DEFENED U TO THE END..UR JUST ONE BIG GANG AN THE REST OF US CIVIL PEOPLE HAVE TO DEAL WITH STREET THUG'S AN THUGS WITH BAGDE'S!!!!!!WHAT A BEAUTIFUL COUNRTY WE LIVE IN..

  • @rmls34 Isn't the same police department whose police chief laughs at reporters when they ask about the murder at Ozark Dodge according to the Christian County Headliner?

  • i know mace and have since he was probably 13. i dont know him well but my younger sister is good friends with him and has been for a long time. one thing that should be added to everything that u said in that video is that even IF he did say "i hate cops, kill cops" he had every right legally to say that. anyone has the right to say what ever they want if it is stated as an opinion.

  • I used to live in Tennessee and those idiots running that place had the stupidest cops and judges those people were not fit to run carnival let alone a judicial system and city hall and be cops

  • I see that Ozark police "force" hasn't changed much in the last 20 years, still a bunch of under trained, over payed, wanna be's. Protect and serve? Yeah, right. Protect their ass and serve theirselves. Fucking idiots.

  • is it just me or does it seem like these cops might have had something to do with the "fall" off the bridge. and maybe they used their tasers to finish him off so he couldnt tell what really happened. why else would they feel the need to taser anyone, let alone a boy with a broken back and foot NINETEEN! times?

  • dont fell sorry for the pigs.they do it for fun they dont need to pull a gun of anykind on somone with ingerys.there just pusses

  • learn how to spell retard. INJURIES or PUSSIES. Or is it ingerys and pusses. Your an uneducated idiot, do us all a favor and dont post any thing further. Your just embarrassing your self. Oh I forgot the fell, oh maybe he meant feel. Tasers are guns either douche bag.

  • the ONLY reason i approved such a hateful message to my comment board is because i had to point out that you spelled "yourself" wrong after making fun of somebody's spelling

  • Whoever the dumb ass was that made this video obviously does not live in a real world. The first and main priority for a police officer when going to any incident is to make sure the scene is secure and safe so that there is no one else that could possibly become involved. Before you make a statement atleast know what your talking about you liberal bastard. You have no knowldge of how things like this work, go smoke another joint and chant for world peace. WAKE UP!

  • And you have no idea what my political views are. I happen to be conservative. It bothers me to see people who claim to be conservative result to character assassination in a discussion environment. You have been made to believe things like this need to work this way.. but just as I've said in other replies, 19 times is far too excessive, and the threats they claim he made don't warrant a threatening situation. SS, LLC? You wouldn't happen to be in private security contractor for the government?

  • Well Im sorry your bothered and no I'm not a private security contractor for the government. You don't have a clue. Police Officers in general (including the ones involved in the tasing) come to work every day or night not knowing if they are going home to see there wife/husbands and kids at the end of there shift. They put there lifes on the line for total strangers like yourself who criticize an incident you don't fully understand. Don't tell me what I have been made to believe.

  • And further more, who makes you the judge on whats excessive? What experience in life gives you the right to say that? Have you ever been tasered? Who are you know what a "threatening situation" is? You took alot of liberties and made some bold statements about issues you have no clue about. It takes a big man to bash some one by a video who risks their life every day whether you know it or not for your safety. You disgust me.

  • All of both of our arguments are based on perception. And from what I have seen with this so far, my perception is that the police went way too far and deserve to be appropriately disciplined.

  • STFU asshole. Fucking police are there to "Serve & Protect". They are not empowered under the Constitution to begin with. At least in my town they know their role.

Do you know that the police are being sent memos on how to deal with "suspects" who spout out thier so called "rights"?

These cops should be locked up.

  • dude,, also.. you are judging this using hindsight.. they had no idea he was not drunk or on drugs.. that was determined after a blood test. btw fool.. how do you control a 6yr old with a piece of glass?? shoot him?? oh wait,, you grab him and get cut. the guy who got tazed at the college refused to comply and deserved to be tazed. btw. are you a cop? do you know the "tazing protocol?? LOL youre a joke.

  • this is not just about the tasing in the first place. it is 19 times that is one issue. also, if i'm not mistaken, in this country you are innocent until proven guilty. so if the tasing was for being messed up, which is not a taseable offense anyway, they should have reasonably found out first. also, a threat and a threatening situation are two different things. and ohh no, cant let a cop get a single scratch, better to tase a child than for a cop to get scratched.. they know its a dangerous job

  • taseable offense?? LOL, wake up. Its the behavior caused by being "messed up" that gets you tazed, not being messed up in the first place. And no one said he was guilty of anything, no one is guilty when arrested, only when convicted. However, the police can use any force they see as reasonable given the situation, to affect an arrest. Again, none of us were there, so no one here is in a position to judge.

  • well if you are gonna judge, when the outcome of the story is 19 taser shocks, your initial judgment goes at least slightly in favor of the people who brought about the outcome of the story?

  • the police dont have time to sit there and ask "are you in shock" etc.. if he was making threats.. they were totally justified in tazing the kid. love the guy who makes this video... he wasnt there and has no clue what its like to be an officer...... so go whine to someone else

  • Even if he was yelling those things, he was probably immobile if his back was broken. Don't they know about people in shock?

  • They tased him 19 times... 19... tased... didn't just grab him to keep him from getting into traffic? Also, a trace amount of weed hardly means he was on something. It's a tough sell to feel any sympathy for the police here

  • i totally feel for the officers. and none of the people here have a right to judge as NONE OF YOU WERE THERE. put your prejudices and jealously of the police away and let a court sort it out.

  • you feel for the officers. lolololol. what, are you worried they hurt their taser fingers after depoloying them so many times.

  • i feel for people who put their lives on the line for me every day while wussies like you sit comfortably in your arm chair and try to judge what they do. put on a badge for a while and then you can judge. btw, i woulda tazed him 21 times, just for good measure. bet the kid wont jump off any more bridges huh. trailer trash.

  • above, in the response you made to aimless mind, i tried to be civil.. you're just an asshole though... you're officially blocked asshole

  • I really am interested in what the officers involved have to say about what happened. Their careers are on the line here. The officers involved are some of the best officers Ozark has. I know you may think that's not saying much, but I know the officers that were on scene and I'm not saying they made the right choice, but I would hate to think that they were doing it "just for fun" These guys are notr that way at all.

  • Thank you for your perspective

  • Ok, again, assuming that everything here is what happened, the kid was up and walking, he was on Jimson weed, I ask again, why not mace him? maybe they did but I'm sure the media would've added it for that extra shock and awe. I feel like ok, we have to assume the kid wasn't armed or the cops would've been using that in their defense already. Why not have one cop run interference while one was coming up from behind? I'm just trying to make sense of something that seems sensless. Next post

  • when you smoke pot most people tend to relax. Probably wasn't this kids first time. Smoking pot wasn't the likely culprit here. Assuming that there were no other traceable drugs in his system, you would then need to explore the possibilty of untraceable drugs- I.E. Jimson weed- google it. This would actually make sense. I mean, if the broken back didn't stop him from walking why would a police taser? People on PCP don't feel them, they just laugh and rip them out. next post

  • Ok, so even IF this kid was walking into traffic, why not just mace him so he can't see the officers rushing him to take him into protective custody- remeber folks, he had not broken a law. also, the drug screen from the hospital was aid to have come back clean- not true, the kids mom even said in a later interview that they had found trace amounts of marijuana in his system. Let's put aside societies taboo view on pot- Next post

  • I want to begin by saying, I'm not taking anyones side in this. I just want to give a fresh perspective. I was told by someone that the kid was on his feet and walking into traffic and the reason he was tased was to protect HIM from going into traffic and hurting himself. To be totally "fair" we have only heard one side of the story. Rousett was only giving out information he had been cleared to give out at that time. In other words, what he said was not the whole story. con't in next post.

  • What do you want to bet that the people of Ozark are defending these Barney Fife wannabes? "People shouldn't fear the Goverment, the Goverment should fear the People".

  • Ask to speak to Mayor DON WATTS and DEMAND these police be FIRED and put in JAIL for their criminal actions of TORTURE!

DIAL THESE NUMBERS!! USE YOUR VOICE!! Don't be afraid or hide! Get out there and pick up the phone! DIAL NOW!!

Call Don Watts, Mayor of Ozark @ City Hall

    417-581-2407

Call Police Captain Thomas Rousset (pronounced Russet)

    417 581-6600

Demand firing of all involved officers, public apology and discontinuation of electro-torture devices!

  • THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS. Good video and narration. You know what sickens me and makes me want to throw things out of a 3 story window? Commanding officer said: "He did NOT comply so officers HAD to taser him" HAD TO. THERE WAS NO OPTION! The boy was SNAPPED IN HALF after falling 30 feet (HUGE DROP!) so OBVIOUSLY, writhing around on the ground in agony he was a prime candidate for taser target practice. This enrages me to no end! WHEN will we organize and take back our beloved country?!

  • I am in the early stages of planning a protest in Ozark

  • Good! PLAN IT! DO IT! Make it happen! You're a REAL person and a REAL hero if you make that happen! People need to know about the DANGERS of tasers and not to mention the blatant MISUSE of tasers by the "kings men" (police, as I call them) who do not get ANY punishment when a regular person would go to jail for YEARS on assault and torture charges! If I were there I'd be marching down the street holding up signs and bull-horning right in front of the police station!

  • Thanks for creating this. The more informed we are about this the better.

  • What we're not covering here is our right to defend ourselves when physically attacked by anyone, even Nazi pigs. If a citizen of this country is attacked physically, we have every right to defend ourselves under the 2nd amendment. No one, not even a Nazi pig, has the right to harm someone physically soley based on a verbal attack. I don't care what their fucking rules say.

  • Here's how it probably went down....The kid didn't 'comply', then tase #1. He still didn't 'comply' because he obviously couldn't, then tase #2. At that time kid starts wailing about mother fucking nazi pig cops and how they should be killed invoking 17 extra jolts by these (probably fat) shaved headed wanna-be coward Nazi bastards.

  • thank you very much for this video,it is now added to copwatchers, people please come join us film the police all the time send all vids of police brutality to copwatchers,as disinghier has stated below "looking away is not the answer",many thx again nwulfert

  • I emailed the chief and asked the same questions. E-mail him and let him know that the country is watching. Ask the same questions. I'm sick of watching videos on police brutality, but looking away is not the answer. Spread the work.

  • This is just a horrible story some officers are just taking the easy way out of this Chubby Lazy cops with donuts....great that's wat are police systems are coming to

  • i'm glad i ain't in the states but apparently the rcmp are becoming the same dumb ass arseholes with their tazers as well.

  • there have been over 20 taser deaths in Canada

  • Sadly, all too common. Until a review is triggered by every Taser discharge, this will continue.

  • who knew this s**t could happen so close to home? And how is sending electricity through a suspect's body not cruel and unusual punishment? Especially when Missouri has outlawed execution of CONVICTED criminals via electricution! Newsweek was right. This is a new America. The United Police States of America.

  • the electricity you whine about only temporarily immobilizes the person. i guess you would prefer that the police still beat folks to get compliance, right? fools like you are never please or satisfied with what the officers that risk their lives to keep you safe do. come from behind your keyboard and put on a badge,, til then, shut up and stop whining about things you know nothing about.

  • i get kinda tired of hearing the term "risk their life for your safety." they are risking their life, from most officers i know, for a job. it's the profession they choose. most nowadays don't have that humatitarian, civic duty idea about themselves anymore... i never wanted anybody to think i am against cops in general, just this new breed, with this new training... i love the idea of police, but they need to be like america intended them to be.. peace officers
