I love my Spyder! I have this car in 'Red Pearl' (that color is only on the 2007 Eclipses) and charcoal leather interior. This car is wonderful to drive and very safe. I was in a horrible accident on the 405 (one of the worst freeways in los angeles) and the chp officer said my mom and I should have been dead. The car was totaled but our injuries were minimal. I ended up getting another one 3 months later. This car is amazing and I would recommend it to anyone!
@crisb8713 ...I've never had any problems with my Spyder. I bought my car brand new..so I'm the only owner. I'm pretty good at taking care of it and getting it serviced regularly. If you do that, you should be fine! I think you should get one! My car is so much fun, VERY safe and I get a lot of compliments too!!!
@crisb8713 I own the coupe that is not a convertible. This car has NEVER given me problems so far. 31 Thousand miles and i've had it for 5 years. Its such a beautiful machine. The slalom speed is faster than a LOT of RWD Cars yet it is extremely comfortable over any bump. I took a really hard pot hole at 88MPH on the highway and didnt feel a thing thanks to its independent suspension. The car was perfectly fine. No regrets.

Finally a great lookin eclipse. The previous generation looked like shit as they tried to combine the 3000gt and the eclipse together, BAD IDEA!! Thank you Mitsubishi for trashing the horrible design of ole.
so it has 2 enigines in one car ? how do they do that? is ther a button 2 switch between engines and how do 2 engines en fit in one car?thats 2 much 4 me. i only need one engine.
This is the absolute perfect car for me.

What it means is there is an option between the 2.4L 4 cylinder engine (GS) and the V5 3.6L engine (GT). I have the fully loaded 08 GT in Black.
