The Flying Lizards, what an awesome group, in all its variations. MEven my Mum who is 78, loves some of their stuff, her favourite is "Mandelay Song".
The 70's over, I was so hoping that music like this that was in the clubs at the beginning of the new decade would fare as the frontier of Rock and Roll.
No, instead the fates (or timorous radio programmers) decided differently and just look at what we have had since.
How could anyone fail to see the fun and sense of abandon in this?

I don't understand why this band isn't more popular, her voice is so different and the instruments go SO well with it, it's fantastic!
