Thank you for not putting some annoying music in this. I wouldn't say Pidgin's the best, though. They don't even have a built-in option to group Offline contacts together. How do you overlook that?

The issue is that the developers don't tell you HOW to do it, they just go on about why they say theme instead of skin or whatever, and then never get into how to actually change the theme. Which makes anyone with half a brain wonder about these people if they can't even address such a basic nonessential issue that everyone in their right mind should care about.
And it's not just the creators who can't explain it. I've been Googling all day, but as anyone with a mind knows, Google sucks.
Damn I wish people could learn to write like humans on the internet, though. All you need is to have graduated from the third grade. I wouldn't presume to go to China without speaking Chinese. Or at all, because I don't want to get snatched up by one of their governmental Disappearing Vans and dropped down a coal mine shaft with nothing but rats to eat. Again.

Why use the portable edition? It's still attached to your computer.

If you don't want to watch this whole video. I'll explain it in short.
1) Copy gtkrc from your downloaded skin.
2) Paste (replace) the gtkrc file in your pidgin directory, most likely similar to this: C:\Program Files (x86)\Pidgin\Gtk\etc\gtk-2.0
3) Restart Pidgin and SUCCESS!
