There are no aliens, not in the traditional sense. They are us. I have my own theory as to who and how. I believe Noah's flood happened and in his time they lived for six - seven - eight and nine hundred years. @jumpingjacker1 You know I have also been thinking, A lot of the early "ancient astronaut" depictions and tales are of combustible jet engine type of crafts. Unless they are carrying extra power generators (ie: "warp drives" or something) to travel through space/time combustion engines will not work in conventional terms, Or we would already be at least solar system explorers. This means to me that these beings are from a more local origin.
@DrackonKnight I would think an intelligent race would use aircraft/spacecraft best suited for their needs. No need for a mother ship to descend to a planet just use smaller vessels. Not to mention certain propulsion systems could disrupt a planet if not the whole solar system. If your using a space/time warp (hyperdrive) you wouldnt want to appear in orbit of a planet causing most likely a planet killing event instead you would appear in a safe zone cont.

Realistically they could appear in a safe zone outside our solar system and with very advanced craft they may still be forced to use (obey physics wise) limited means of propulsion to finish the journey and then still yet employ smaller craft to enter the planet and explore.
@DrackonKnight I do not think so, because they also need dropships to leaf low orbit and land on earth. You can't do that with a warp engine. The dynamica of a warp engine is totaly different than a combustble engine. Warp or other interstellar drive's generates powerful or high radiation waves which may be harmful to their own lives and the lives of others. To me thats the most logic explonation, but I can be wrong!

There are no aliens, not in the traditional sense. They are us. I have my own theory as to who and how. I believe Noah's flood happened and in his time they lived for six - seven - eight and nine hundred years. Common sense tells us they must have been an incredibly advanced civilization simply due to their massive life spans. i think they conquered space flight and travel, then returned centuries later. They are still visiting us today, but no longer completely human with unknown motives.

@jumpingjacker1 You know I have also been thinking, A lot of the early "ancient astronaut" depictions and tales are of combustible jet engine type of crafts. Unless they are carrying extra power generators (ie: "warp drives" or something) to travel through space/time combustion engines will not work in conventional terms, Or we would already be at least solar system explorers. This means to me that these beings are from a more local origin.

@DrackonKnight I would think an intelligent race would use aircraft/spacecraft best suited for their needs. No need for a mother ship to descend to a planet just use smaller vessels. Not to mention certain propulsion systems could disrupt a planet if not the whole solar system. If your using a space/time warp (hyperdrive) you wouldnt want to appear in orbit of a planet causing most likely a planet killing event instead you would appear in a safe zone cont.

Realistically they could appear in a safe zone outside our solar system and with very advanced craft they may still be forced to use (obey physics wise) limited means of propulsion to finish the journey and then still yet employ smaller craft to enter the planet and explore.

The dynamica of a warp engine is totaly different than a combustble engine. Warp or other interstellar drive's generates powerful or high radiation waves which may be harmful to their own lives and the lives of others. To me thats the most logic explonation, but I can be wrong!

@linda10989 - There are a few things that can't be explained away neatly like the Nazca lines, & the similarities between the way that 3 of the smaller pyramids at Giza are lined up like 3 of the stars in Orion's belt, for 2 examples. But the whole belief that " ancient man was too primitive & unsophisticated to have built these things by himself so it must've been aliens " begins to wear kind of thin after a while. & some of the " aliens " look suspiciously European.

@knoxvilleguy2 The Egyptians, like the Greeks were amazing astronomers and I don't any problem with them being able to do the 3 pyramids to match Orion's belt.
I've also heard some of the researchers on the Ancient Aliens channel--sorry, the old Discovery channel--say with a straight face that Akhenaten and his family were aliens because they have weird, elongated heads. Yes they certainly did, but that was hereditary.

@linda10989 - They used astronomy for navigation & architectural calculations, I think. They probably didn't rely on Lunar phases for planting & harvesting because they could tell from the rise & fall of the Nile, & didn't need the Moon as a reference.
I saw another video claiming that Buddhist cave - paintings in Dunhuang depicted alien craft. They probably thought Buddha's " 3rd eye " was the result of alien genetic manipulation. ;)

As for believing in ET's or other intelligent life out there, I believe that we are not alone and the fact that they haven't tried to contact us only shows how intelligent they are. But to hear someone say that aliens had nothing better to do than come here and show us how to build Stonehenge, the pyramids and then fly away again is ridiculous.

@linda10989 Maybe just Google " Dunhuang ", I don't know. All I know is that someone asserted that Central Asian Buddhists had UFO depictions in their temple caves.
I think there are extra - terrestrial civilizations out there, even though they would have to break the light - speed barrier or generate " wormholes " / Einstein - Rosen bridges ( ? ) to visit Earth w / anything resembling regularity just to instruct ancient humans in the construction of megalithic structures.

As for other intelligent life out in the universe, I agree with you. It's not impossible for them to have come to us, but it is possible. Although if I was traveling millions of miles to visit another civilization, I would have brought something useful--knowledge of advancement in medical care/procedures, agriculture, science, etc, that would improve the lives of everyone.

@linda10989 A lot of folks seem to automatically assume that when someone mentions extra - terrestrial life, that said extra - terrestrials are going to be scientifically advanced & capable of interstellar space flight & other high - tech accomplishments. But what if there are some societies out there that are still in their equivalent of the Industrial Age ? Who haven't even mastered rudimentary powered flight, etc.
What if they're like the Martians in the John Carter stories ?

More astronomers say it IS aligned, than not....A recent show on The Science Channel had Prof Brian Cox (Cambridge) saying the pyramids were aligned with Orion's belt as well.

@hawaiiguykailua Lastly I would like to point out that most cultures have continued there belief in the ancient gods, vimana's etc. We can't be alone in the multiverse can we? That would be pretty sad and a huge waste of space:) South Africa (the area) has the oldest structures it is believed, and some very scary amounts of ancient gold mines, in the 1'000's. The earth does have very powerful energy zones, thats why I love Mammoth Mountain it fuses inside you:)

The archaeologists claim that the king seen in the tomb carving is descending into the Mayan Underworld. Odd way to "descend" anywhere if you ask me. I think the "official" explanation for the tomb carving is a bit wonky. Admittedly, the idea that this Mayan king was an alien, is a bit wonky too. Who knows.

In studying Native American history, etc. I still can't figure out why there is no history of the Maya in what is now known as the United States. Did the Maya and Aztec somehow know to stay south of the imaginary Mexican / U.S. boarder? They don't even observe that nowadays.
The other thing that intrigues me about modern archaeology is that the ancient pottery, burial sites, burial mounds, etc are older in antiquity as one looks SOUTH!
