They weren't really any better than stock. I'd probably go with something else. Mine probably needed to be rebuilt but I wasn't impressed. I'd go with something else if I still had the bike. I sold it and bought a GSXR750.

@AJF700 if a tank was made out of carbon fiber, it would be way over 1000 bucks. thats the strongest stuff they make but u can buy the stick kit for a little bit of nothing.
