I was there !!  Great show hosted by The Argentine Tango Society in Stowe, Vermont.

There will be perfoming again on Sept 30th October 1st and 2nd as a part of I TANGO Show 2011

Lo de la marcha peronista en ritmo de tango muy bueno, si algo más desestructurado existe, que avisen. Para los que se extrañan por ver bailar el tango entre hombres ya estoy cansado de decir que así nació la danza, entre hombres de los arrabales y bién pesados y machos. Gays? te pasaban a cuchillo en aquellos tiempos. Hoy? ya no habemos más machos...Leopoldooo!!

harlota, if two mans are dancing the tango doesnt mean that they are gays. is an old tradition because the tango in the beguining was danced in very dark places, and those places wasnt visited by the womans, thats why the tango was danced by mans only, because those dangerous places was visited only by guys (segregated criminals) . sorry for my english

The old tango was not for males only.

Homosexuals loved it as much as everyone else, but they were segregated and discriminated so there is not official acknowledgment of homosexuals dancing tango.

Thank you De Fazio brothers for finally paying tribute to the great gays of tango in the early years.

Soon you won't have to pass for clowns and people will respect you for who you are regardless of your sexual orientation.

Where did you hear that this is a "tribute to the great gays of tango" rather than just two brothers dancing the tango? (Not arguing, just asking).

The old Tango was only for males and only them could dance together that's because they´re dancing like a couple. At the end of the song we can hear the Peronist March. Good dancers but isn't so sexy like a man & woman dancers are. Argentina for Export!
