@zweezey Puin has NO authority on the Qur'aan. Any basic level knowledge of Qur'aan compilation knows that all the Caliph Uthman (ra) did was add the Qiraat to the present codex of the Qur'aan to preserve the Qur'aan. Quite simple. Puin studied a mashuf, not a canon or codex.

Secondly there are six-year old kids that have learned the Quran by heart, because it contains rhymes all through it. The Quran was not just written but most of all memorized by many who were called HUFADH. The fact that they copies were piled up and forgotten means they were not used and suspicious.
it is also possible that this copy of the quran was just a draft version at the time it was put away in the mosque. there is evidence that the committee that was established by uthman bin affan went through several documents and manuscripts before they canonized a final version. the committee sourced scriptures from several far off locations within arabia at that time to see their authenticity from those who had memorized it.

In 3:93 " All food was lawful to the children of Israel except what Israel made unlawful for itself before the Law (of Moses) was revealed. Say: "Bring ye the Law and study it if ye be men of truth."
These two verses contradict each other; while in 3:93 it is alleged that it was the Jews who made prohibitions for themselves, 4:160 alleges that it was God who did so; both cannot be true; furthermore, all food prohibitions were made for the People Israel and not the Jews who did not exist at the time.

Sorry, I don't think that the documentary ever claimed that it's the original Qur'an, but that it's just a copy of it.
In the past, it was normal to write in Arabic without the dots used today to distinguish consonants. In fact, most of the early Qur'ans lacked any consonant markings or had very few of them. Then much later vowel markings were also added. All of this was done to facilitate non-Arabic speakers. Native speakers then however can understand the whole script from context.

He also went much further on to say: Seek me among your weak ones, for you are given provision, or you are given help only by reason of the presence of your weak ones. (Rahman, Encyclopaedia of Seerah, VOL. VIII, p. 151)
There are many instances that show his kindness and gentleness, especially to the weak and the poor. Anas, his famous servant, said: I served Allahs Messenger for ten years and he never said to me, Shame or Why did you do such-and-such a thing? or Why did you not do such-and-such a thing? The Prophet Muhammad taught love, kindness and compassion to his people, and was seen to be the most loving, kind, and compassionate of all of them. The Quran mentions his kind and gentle behavior in these words: O Messenger of Allah! It is a great Mercy of Allah that you are gentle and kind towards them; for, had you been harsh and hardhearted, they would all have broken away from you (Quran 3:159).

Did you know the Qur'an was sent/revealed in 7 modes? Uthman burnt six of them. On what authority does a mortal have to burn the words of God?

@zweezey Puin has NO authority on the Qur'aan. Any basic level knowledge of Qur'aan compilation knows that all the Caliph Uthman (ra) did was add the Qiraat to the present codex of the Qur'aan to preserve the Qur'aan. Quite simple. Puin studied a mashuf, not a canon or codex.
Also the greatest bible(s) scholar Bart Erhman who is the best seller, does NOT believe bible(s). How funny, isn't it?

The number do not add up - it matters if you believe that the verses are from god....

But Thais unlike Americans they do not realise how bad the situation is.

First of all, Arabic script did not originally contain vowels even today people can read a newspaper without a single vowel (most newspapers do not contain vowels) learn arabic before speculating. Secondly there are six-year old kids that have learned the Quran by heart, because it contains rhymes all through it. The Quran was not just written but most of all memorized by many who were called HUFADH. The fact that they copies were piled up and forgotten means they were not used and suspicious.

it is also possible that this copy of the quran was just a draft version at the time it was put away in the mosque. there is evidence that the committee that was established by uthman bin affan went through several documents and manuscripts before they canonized a final version. the committee sourced scriptures from several far off locations within arabia at that time to see their authenticity from those who had memorized it.

The text was obviously written by scribes both during the time of Muhammad and later on. Allah is not a man who has hands that will write something.

These two verses contradict each other; while in 3:93 it is alleged that it was the Jews who made prohibitions for themselves, 4:160 alleges that it was God who did so; both cannot be true; furthermore, all food prohibitions were made for the People Israel and not the Jews who did not exist at the time.

Sorry, I don't think that the documentary ever claimed that it's the original Qur'an, but that it's just a copy of it.
In the past, it was normal to write in Arabic without the dots used today to distinguish consonants. In fact, most of the early Qur'ans lacked any consonant markings or had very few of them. Then much later vowel markings were also added. All of this was done to facilitate non-Arabic speakers. Native speakers then however can understand the whole script from context.

It was sent in the form of 3 books. Torah, Bible and Qur'an. Some parts of the Qur'an are divine. Jesus taught good things and so did Muhammad when he was in mecca but then his words became corrupted by Satan, his scribe Ibn Abi AlSarh who used to change words and Uthman. Did you know the Qur'an was sent/revealed in 7 modes? Uthman burnt six of them. On what authority does a mortal have to burn the words of God?

you are not reading it correctly are you ? It is quite clear. In first verse The ratio is One:Ten. and in the next verse Allah now decides to reduce the odds to a more manageable, One:Two so if there are 100 [rather than 20] they shall vanquish 200.

freethinkers. People who have studied the scriptures and are able to view the results objectively. Once you understand that the Qur'anic revelations did not occur all at once and in fact took a period of around 23 years then you understand how satan gradually corrupted Muhammad and sent more and more intolerant and evil verses until sura 9 the second to last sura to be revealed which is the most violent and evil. These are the verses the terrorists use to justify their actions.

at the old times..it was for the people back then,cause we were not even born yet, so the quran took it slowly with them, step by step..and that's really called wisdom..and then the quran is for us also,and when we come we have the full quran to follow..but things will be different cause we would already be rooted in the right..cause of our parents and so on..and not our WHOLE ideas would be changed,like for ex. in the olden times they used to bury their baby girls..and things were so different

but its also strange that these freethinkers named their book as a reverse to the letters of the quran.. and then have so many verses against muslims.. and then they say muhammad is the messanger of the devil, what i see is not that they got the perfect verses , instead they created a book of hate and a reversal of the teachings of islam.. and not a book of love, and all their teachings is against islam.. and not focusing on themselves, instead focusing on an (enemy)

Book of love??? Are you high or something? Show me where there is talk of love for mankind in the Qur'an? Show me one example of an act of kindness from Muhammad ANYWHERE in the whole of Islam's history? sacred naruq is a book of love for mankind. Islam IS the enemy of mankind.

i will show you nice (medina) verses i read yesterday:
58:9 O ye who believe! When ye hold secret counsel, do it not for iniquity and hostility, and disobedience to the Prophet; but do it for righteousness and self-restraint; and fear Allah, to Whom ye shall be brought back.
58:10 Secret counsels are only (inspired) by the Devil, in order that he may cause grief to the Believers; but he cannot harm them in the least, except as Allah permits; and on Allah let the Believers put their trust.

Do you have even the slightest clue what these verses are referring to now175? This ayat is about the coded talk the Jews used to indulge in. Muhammad at this point was still gathering strength while the Jews protected him from the Quraish.

not my interpretation you fool. these are from the tafsirs by YOUR OWN SCHOLARS! Scholars like Kathir and abbas. YOU are the only one here making up your own interpretations mate. How sad.

there are many many verses, but i can't write to you the whole quran, you have to read and understand, that goes as well for the prophet, so read stories from the right sources.. and you'll find hundreds, and here is what the quran said about the prophet:
9:128 Now hath come unto you an Apostle from amongst yourselves: it grieves him that ye should perish: ardently anxious is he over you: to the Believers is he most kind and merciful.

Not good enough now175. find me ONE example of an act of kindness from Muhammad. Surely it cant be that difficult for you? If you think he was so kind there should be plenty of examples in the Sahih hadith or sira? Go and find one for me.

see why i don't like the arguments with you? whats better than getting you a verse in the quran that shows his kindnes and love.. (don't forget that 1st all the quran is our 1st place to look for before any any story) and it alone contains everything that you want.. then you tell me (go and find one for me) i can do that of course.. but i expect you to do that alone..cause i'm not a religion teacher after all..and not mentioning that you don't even answer my questions and you simply ignore them
