@EvansAutoShop yea roll cage is almost done front end re designed this cart looks so much different then what i got now its alot more ligit alot more rigid and sturdy posting vids tommorow. but still no motor the 540 i had in it i pulled it out and put it in a sled and blew it up now i got a liquid cooled 470cc rotax about 85hp i also got a rotax 583 in my one snowmobile that has 130hp but im looking for a 670 rotax... big hp but these rotax's have the same motor mounts so easy in and out

@EvansAutoShop well how much do i got in to it?? i got about with metal and grade 8 bolts motor and bearings and hubs chains and sprockets.. got aboiut 600-800$ in it but i didnt pay for alot of the metal couse it was in welding class if i paid for the steel i would have at least 400$ more in it total will be about 1,500$ once its all done need a bucket seat and 5 point harness and lights powder coated frame pedals,and miscellaneous parts but gonna be a wicked cart

the reason its backing though the carb is you have a plug bad and the carb probly needs to be cleaned

that smoke coming out by the carburators might be from the seal. or whatever they called it. it's like paper, green color seal. nice video, plus the rear suspension would look good with a leaf spring. from a car. like muscle cars do in the old dodge challenger. and front suspensions with fox shocks. engine sound good. just the body work need more time in it. good job in the welding by yourself.

Tighten the suspension, bigger tires, fix belt tension because your secondary engages too soon (it should not engage until you are in it giving it gas and ready to go), I like the hand fabrication though, very nice work.

@Matt072694 yea ji re ran all my chains now i got the a new motor liquid cooled 470 ski doo motor and a tra clutch and got the secoundary now got a chain from the jack shaft with the sec. to another jack shaft that is in front of the swing arm with another chain going to the rear axle its a slick set up and works great. doing finishing touches for safety lol like a bucket seat and 5 point harness

and the roll cage is done the cart looks alot different now looks small in this vid

If you've ridden it I'm pretty sure you have thought the steering geometry already.. do some study about things such as the Ackerman principle, caster, camber, king pin inclination, toe-in and -out etc. At there you got a some work to do, btw, the front suspension ratio seems pretty much as progressive which is good... And 4 your safety; put a guard over the clutch - it kills even if a tiny part of it hit on your head badly and ever use a scarf when u drive on it 8D Ok, ride on man!

Hey man, I'm not sure if you have solved the problem with the smoke comming into the carb yet or not. But I think it has something to do with your exhaust leak. It's bad on the motor and u may blow a valve if you don't get it fixed. It's very bad for your valves.

Nice,but you're going to need wheels about the same size as that quad,and I think you'll need to sturdy up your rear suspension.That thin tubing will break,and you can't tighten those bearings without squashing the tubing in the process.You also need a thicker axle....it's not exactly a Briggs lawn mower you're running on there..LOL!

when you rev into higher rpm the engine allows a little exhaust back through but because of the speed and the wind it doesn't actually affect the performance. every engine I've had has done it.

that drive system is gonna have to be re-designed,your jack shaft will have to articulate from the same point as your suspension pivot point, the only way to make it work the way it is would be to weld up the rear suspension.. Good luck on your project

The reason why there is smoke coming out your carb is when you redid your pipe there is too much or a angle on the pipe and it is not breathing enough.

exhaust leak i had a crack in my pipe and it was leaking and blowing straight into the fan so it was pushing it through the jugs and out in front.

Not to sound like an ass, but that frame and those wheels/tires are really inadequate for a motor that size. Also, if you paid $300 for the tires/wheels, you got ripped off. Those little utility tires should only run $15-$20 each.
