If BMW overprices their cars, what does Mercedes do? A cl65, s65, or sl65 cost right around 200K new. So for roughly half the price, an m6 will run toe to toe with an s65 and barely get beaten by an sl or cl65.  I'd call that a bargain. And regardless, an m6 will toast this c63 above 60.

well, 75K, 60K used....but yeah, it will toast those cars, but they're not in the same class. Nobody cross shops a c63, m6, and z06. And what the c63 and m6 lack in straight line speed and grip compared to the z06, they completely trump the z06 when it comes to quality of materials and fit and finish.

I own a few BMW's and Dinan is a company that mods the cars through many BMW dealerships now. They are great because they cover your 4 year warranty with their upgrades (pretty sound deal). I have a friend iwth a rentech cls55amg, it was done through his dealership, usually those companies have a one year warranty.

no, Dinan is strictly BMW, but i have 2 friends that have a C63, one put the stage 2 ecu and exhaust, and the other has kept the car stock. I'm not too familiar with mercedes, but i would look at Carllson, Kleeman and Rentech for upgrades, those are the only aftermarket companies i'm familiar with. I know they work with mercedes dealerships.

The M6 started off half a car length lead and then they vanished. It would have pulled like a freight train once it hits 100 mph. M6 is a top end car and would slaughter the C63 from 100 - 180 mph all day long.

Put Kelleners mods on the M6 and AA ECU mod, supersprint exhaust (the supersprint X pipe alone gives a ridiculous 30 more HP) and it gives over 600 wheel HP. it destroys Z06s (videos here on youtube of Kelleners M6 killing Z06 from all rolling speeds). C63 is nothing for M6.
