Fotodude, there really isn't any reason to be rude. That can't possibly serve you as a person or as professional photographer. Photographers that make a living doing art portraits for families are documenting and preserving a family Legacy. It is often the most priceless and valuable thing a person spends money on. Best not to judge another's value system just because yours is different.

Thanks Sarah. You should be a politician. You talk a lot without saying a lot, and you believe we all make as much as you do. ($5,000 per session?!?) Most pros I know offer BOTH packages and a la carte. You gotta buy a package before you can buy a la carte.
