I can`t wait to put my hands on that book. I hope I will be able to purchaise it online because I don`t belive it will be for sale in my country ( Bulgaria )
However thank You very much for replying me. You really helped me realising some of the simple truths about weight loss and bodybuilding.
Best Regards !
P.S. I have only one question : Does having gynecomastia makes it more difficult to loose weight ? Because some times I feel like I`m loosing weight but NOT fat ...
In the past I always thought doing pull-ups would be a men's exercise...because I could do just one or two. Today I crank out 11, it's just a thing about training.
Ive been doing woman pushups for a month and my pecs are looking really good, the man boobs are almost gone. I may change to reg push ups soon but i get good cardio exercise from knee or woman push ups.
I dont get to say this very often... but Steve is right. I know, its shocking! But true. Men and women should exercise in basically the same way, depending on their goals. There are no separate exercises based on gender.
Hey good advice, now my female friends are less relctant to question me when I tell them bench press is good for them(with lighter weight of course lol)along with all the BODY workouts I do.
he was speaking in general - ofcourse there are some physical differences - but you will have to adapt to that depending on just that. women may not be able to do as much weight when working out the upper body but more when working out thier legs. same exercises tho is what he is saying.
Hey, I have been eating 1,200 calories a day and a little more when I spend a couple hours a day. Since I started I lost seven pounds, but this last week I have been staying at the same weight or gaining a lb then then the next day I will be at that previous days weight. It won't go down and I haven't eaten past 1,200. I still need to lose 40 pounds, so I don't know why the weight loss has stopped.
I am certified personal trainer and it sounds like you've reach a plateau. When you consume 1,200 cal or less on average (for women), your body may go into starvation mode. Your body will hold onto that weight even harder. My suggestion would be to eat 'slightly more, say 1,350 cal, but add in 1/2 hr walk or other light cardiovascular activity each day. This may help to convince your body to get out of starvation mode, but still have a calorie deficit to loose weight.
Hi steve just to let you know i have not been training for ages and have just signed up to my gym today, A start ey! Ive got a big build and am not terribly fat so it shouldn't take long to get back into shape just alot of hardwork. Im thinking of trying creatine though and im adiment im going to use it so do you think i should wait till ive lost weight to use it or start on it. Love the videos!! Cheers Ben
hey steve.. i was wondering if you can do a video on your personal weekly workout routine?? like wut muscles and wut equipment you use on wut day and how many reps and sets you do??.. i've been working out the past couple months but i feel like nothings happening... help
Amen! I saw the greatest improvement to my body when I decided to just mirror my husbands workouts ... bench press, squats, skull-crushers, deadlifts, etc. Don't be intimidated!! Plus, it's kind of fun to see the looks on peoples faces when they see the 5'3'' gal grabbing to 40lbs dumbells for chest-presses :)
You forgot to mention the fact that, yeh we do the same excersise's and stuff but, it's the time & weight amount that matters. Women who want the lean long muscle look just have to use MUCHHH lighter weights for a longer period of time. =] just adding my two cents for readers because some women will go and copy a man in the gym right now. and they arent looking for the same results. =)
This is a common misconception. Women can still have long lean muscle if they use heavy weight. Heavier weight is needed to cause changes in the muscles.
Boy do i have a ripper of a question for u... surely you have seen the countless number of exercise machines which sell over the television... but have u seen the bowflex? Appears to be promising some great results on the machine... some chik who was 50 looked at the most mid 30s, she was in pretty awesome shape! Would u recomend bowflex?
Any exercise machine is good if you use it. There is nothing special about a Bow Flex. Actually they can be difficult to use because performing many of their exercises are tricky using cables. I would spend the money on a gym membership. It would initially be cheaper and if you liked it, it would offer a much better workout. I'll also bet those actors got in shape using free weights and lots of cardio.
Haha, yeh they promote them "actors" as "real" ppl lol. Yeh, u said somthin about tht in a prior vid about actors getting in optimum sahpe weeks b4 to prepare for them adverts.

Haha right OK then lets see the same number of men as women bellydance to the same quality... men and women are NOT built the same.

Creatine works but I would hold off. See how much progress you can make initially without it.
