Hi, it`s "Surf Party" from The Astronauts. They were from Colorado.

You just have to read the info text.

I have got another video here where we played "Surf Party" live! Check out my vids!

    Twang cheers!

  • Cant wait ! my swept wing should be here Friday! i usually use a dipinto for my band the aquaholics! :)

  • Nice video...and cool guitar! Are the neck and frets what you'd expect in a Mosrite? I just picked up a Wing-Bat guitar by Hallmark, and I'm digging it in a big way.

  • I need $1500 quick!

  • Awesome video, nice guitar. And your rhythm's got a real classy looking Jazzmaster :)

  • I didn't think that I liked surf guitar but this is pretty cool.

  • Nice color ;) How much did this Hallmark 60 Custom cost in Euros, including the shipping costs? Did you purchase it via the Paypal link on the website? Grüss gott aus Belgien ;)

  • I bought it directly at the "hallmarkguitars" website. PayPal is the prefered and fastest way to pay. All in all (incl. case and shipping costs and custom fees) it was about nearly 1000 Euros. Check out your custom fees in your country at first!

I would buy it again. Very nice guitar! Makes fun to play!

Meanwhile I play it with 12-52 strings.

    Twang cheers from Germany!

  • The Kilaueas CD Album for free at stumbleaudio D.O.T com

  • Not my kind of sound, I prefer a more mellow tone. I have the Deke Dickerson model HSallmark copied after the Joe Maphis Mosrite (one neck). Sweet and mellow and the pickups were replicas of the original Carvin AP-6. In 1966, I bought a "Joe Maphis Mosrite" which I considered real junk, nowhere near the original guitar. Bob Shade of Hallmarfk did a perfect replica.

  • Way to rock it Ralf that Halmark sounds great

  • is Custom 60's neck good and stiff? - sounds good considering the recording perspective

  • So have you heard of Hallmark's new guitars they are going to put out? (The 59 custom and Hallmark II models)

  • yeah i like that song ... "surf pardy" yeaaaa

  • Looks and sounds great! I currently have a gold swept wing and am saving for a 60 custom. I just finally purchased "Mundaka Calls" yesterday. Sorry to hear about the school tragedy near Stuttgart.

  • Hi! Oh, another golden Sweptwinger! Nice to meet you here! I love my golden Swept Wing, too! Thanks for getting our "Mundaka Calls" album!!! If you like it you will love our "Profesor Volcanova" album! Feel free to check out!

Yes, the massacre near our town is too bad!!! And so the tragedy in Alabama is unbelievable!!!

    All the best!

  • anyone here who can give me the name of track? didn't remember...

  • Hi, it`s "Surf Party" from The Astronauts. They were from Colorado.

I even described it in the info text on the right side.

    Twang cheers!

  • HallmarkSweptWinger, thank you for the info and reply. The guitar sounds great but I hear what you mean when you say the tone on a Mosrite is a bit more and richer but overall that's a great guitar you have. I have a set of Mosrite pickups at home and if I ever bought one of these guitars I could replace the pickups with Mosrite pickups if the Mosrite pickups would fit. I'm undecided between getting a Gretsch Silver Jet with Dynasonic single coil pickups or a Hallmark. Thanks for the info.

  • If you`ve got a set of Mosrite pickups get the Hallmark 60 Custom! The best basic you will get for this good price!!

  • So, this one or the swept wing?

  • This one AND a Swept WIng!

    I love both guitars!

It`s similar to the same old question "Jaguar or Jazzmaster?" ;-)

In fact both guitars (Custom 60 - Swept WIng) are compeletely different guitars in look and sound. The Custom 60 is nearer to Mosrite even in sound.

The Swept Wing owns her own versatiel 60`s character.

    Twang cheers!

    Ralf Kilauea

  • yeah! Astronauts are a good band....Damn dude ur good at the surf guitar!!

  • Nice playing! Nice tone. How close to a real Mosrite, vintage or reissue do you feel this guitar is in terms of feel and tone? Thanks.

  • Hi! Yes, it`s a great guitar!

You can`t get a better Mosrite remake for this good price!!! Check out Hallmarkguitars!

A real Mosrite has got a thinner neck. And a bit more tone, a bit richer all in all.

This Hallmark 60 Custom feels great! Very sporty feeling! It will gives you a bit this "Johnny Ramone" feeling. :-) I like it a lot!

  • great!
