John i need your help. I would love to have a garden like yours but sadly have no control over what gets planted in my house. I want to grow something year round but i can't find a list of shallow root plants that i could grow in small pots in my room. I hear strawberries and beets any info would help

I would suggest growing herbs in a container culture.. also try leafy greens. Generally fruiting crops wont do too well indoors without supplemental lighting.

@crewlla I thought I would have stuff stolen out of the front of my house and I remember asking you that question. well, I didnt have anyone take any of my stuff. I had lots of people walk by and look at my stuff though and some asked questions. I even had people take pitures of it. we dont have anyone in the neighbout hood with a garden out front.
