The old Dalek Emperor has a MUCH better voice than the new Emperor, it sounds much more...powerful

i like both. I personally think they're the same Dalek. The light flashing at the end of this serial, meant the creature was still alive. It got transferred, eventually, to a new casing.

I like to think this Emperor is actually the Dalek which Davros evolved into in "Terror Firma". The explosions from the Civil war restore his memory somehow and the rest is future history

well yeah if you count the spin-off media. remember though, the spin-off media is of uncertain canonicity in regards to the show. BBC never said anything on the issue so it's up to the fans. Officially though, most of the spin-off stuff seems uncanon, particularly as the new series adapts some of it.

It's plausible. Even though Davros' personality was silenced at the end of "Terror", the Emperor in "Evil" does sound quite Davros-y - moreso than the Emperor in "Parting of the Ways". And if you were to count the Eighth Doctor Adventures, your theory would still work, as Davros turns up in "War of the Daleks" in his Davros form, but afaik makes no reference to "Terror" (obviously since "War" came first IRL) Maybe these explosions restore Davros but he also loses memory of the events of "Terror"

However, the writer of "War of the Daleks" also wrote the novelisation of "Evil" which implied that this Emperor had been the Dalek Prime, the first Dalek created by Davros and the one that shot him at the end of "Genesis of the Daleks". It all depends on your canon view.

yes, the old lost episodes need to be remade. but they should try to use as much existing referenace material as they can, like with the cyberman story that had its two missing episodes animated by cosgrove hall.

Going to be a while, PC got wiped aobut 3 weeks ago so i'm back to square one :( ironic in a way cause the bbc lost the footage and now i have :S although one day lol i hope to finish it.
