Nice interpretation. Maybe because it's close to what we did last summer with my friends on a music course I attended. I agree with previous comments, this tempo is very good, it doesn't need to be exceedingly fast.
Again, great performance! Apart from a couple of moments which I would probably choose to interpret in a different way. But that really doesn't matter. After all, who am I to talk?
I am happy to know there are still people who choose to play this movement in a more heavy, "not-so-meaninglessly-fast", a more effective way, ignoring the near-impossible metronome indication.
I think D. Shostakovich would have liked this interpretation very much!
Somebody tell that poor violinist that the upbeat at 1:59 is two quavers, not crotchets, poor Shostakovich.
