  • franchise needs a reboot there alot in california but they need to come to canada again

  • I recently came across a Tastee Freeze near a truck stop in kansas, but alas...it was out of business and abandoned. Just my luck. I hope to come across one that is still in business.

  • Long Live Tastee Freez!!!!!

  • We used to have a real Dairy Queen here back in the day, but now the only one is in the middle of a big, ugly, smelly truck stop up the road from here. Not to mention it just doesn't taste the same, maybe it's just me,

  • @Madams1977 MMM HMM

  • 0:05 Old version of elmo!!!

  • @karim2324 No, it isn't as a matter of fact, THIS wasn't the prototype Elmo. It was just a red puppet that just happened to have a same feature to look like Elmo. The REAL Elmo didn't happen until the mid 1980s.

  • @Dekobee I Know But Its Just The Same Design

  • I grew up in the back room of a Tastee Freez

  • in the 60's and early 70's my family loves to take my silbings to tastee freeze and dairy queen at the time we ordered thru the window.35 years later tastee freeze was burned to the ground now georgia fish and game service is now there where tastee freeze used to be,and in 1978,dairy queen built a new eat in/drive thru resturant up the street on US 341 in ft.valley ga.the old dairy queen(window service) torn down, all you see is slab of concrete where it used to be.

  • I was born and raised in northeast Montana. In the 1960's and 70's Tastee Freez was very popular and in most towns. My Dad used to like the "Big T" plate. I loved the dipped ice cream cones and they had over 30 flavors of milk shakes but my favorite was the frozen dipped banana, They are all gone now and I really miss them. Even Dairy Queen cannot compare to my Tastee Freez memories.

  • @bigkellyr Such A Shame, Huh?

  • one of the early DQ-like places I guess, pretty neat

  • @MeAndMyRC MMM HMM

  • Tastee Freeze is a regional chain very similar to Dairy Queen. It's mostly found in the mid-west as well as in Virginia.
