Are you so simple minded as to think that climates were stable BEFORE we created factories and started burning coal? History is replete of proof showing that climates change!
In fact, there are two things nature abhors: a vacuum and stability/stagnation. For life to survive, change must ALWAYS occcur.

If we're going for really long timescales, then changes in earth's orbit are the biggest climate factor. (Main reason for ice age cycles)

You first said "science-stupid Al Gore" and then was comparing that person to a climatologist, and toting his theory. I'm sorry to inform you, but climatologists are scientists. Sadly for Mr. Ray, his theories do not hold up to peer review of his fellow climatologists. Are there cycles? Sure. Do they explain the temp increases we have now? No. What does? A simple graph that is still being added to, measuring CO2 for years and years, on a daily basis.

Sure her theories have been peer reviewed and accepted. That could be why only a handful of climatologists claim that climate change is caused by man. Most see man's input anywhere from insignificant to only a minor input.
BTW - Why do CO2 levels FOLLOW temperature change? If CO2 levels were the cause, they'd LEAD....

And it was successful in doing that.

i went through the videos of gwb and his folks, and i dont remember them using 17 reasons BEFORE U.S. attacked iraq.
It was not a war, do not care what anyone said, iraq did not attack anyone, they had no capability to do anything.

Ultimately, we promised, in the 1992 Cease-fire, that if Iraq violated the ceasefire that we'd return, invade Iraq and remove the Nazi Baathists from power.
They violated that ceasefire 13 times and committed 3 other violations of the UN, each requiring the removal of the Baathist regime.

Sadly, congress did abdigate their responsibilities. For that, we have paid, and continue to pay, a serious and steep price in both blood and treasure, but also in world opinion. And if you are one of those people that think world opinion doesn't matter, then stick your head back in the sand, okay?
If I had the time and character space, I could write all the reasons it does matter down. It would be a long list and explanation of each, from trade to security to our ability to catch criminals.

Being in the minority has nothing to do with it being right or wrong. I was in the minority of Americans who were opposed to this war from the beginning, but it certainly does seem to me that I was proven correct for what was going to happen:
No WMD programs found
Long and protracted war
Lots of my fellow soldiers dying
Eye off the ball with the people who did attack us
A loss in world opinion of the US, which hurts us in so many ways, including increasing terrorist recruitment.
