Satanists believe in Hell and Heaven, but their concept of Hell is not very good, they think they won'r suffer but be rewarded and enjoy the path they have chosen. There are different forms of Satanism, but the majority doesn't believe Satan exists. However, even the theistic Satanists don't generally believe that they'll be rewarded in hell or that Satan is a fallen angel. To believe Satan is a fallen angel is to accept he is inferior to god, therefore you won't find too any Satanists who buy into this whole "reverse-christian" mentality. Those that do are generally treated with hostility in the Satanic community.

I didn't like how Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. It depicted the Hindu goddess Kali as the Hindu equivalent of Satan. First of all, Kali is NOT a goddess of the underworld. Second of all, even though she is the goddess of disease and destruction, she slays demons. Disney's Hercules did the same thing with Hades. Just because a god or goddess rules the underworld DOES NOT mean they are like Satan.
They are meant for fun, not really delving into history to sort the facts. Like the game Uncharted uses real history to make up some probable case. Hades (See Bathory, the band!) is another name for Hell, basically (as I interpret it)

I read somewhere that Geraldo was forced to apologize to satanist for airing this special. I find this hard to believe. Is this why there are no more shows investigating ritual killing, satanic cults today or movies like Rosemarys Baby? Do the satanists sue? This is messed up! It's good for people to know that there are millions of crackpots out there who are wicked and actually believe in this shit, kidnap kids, and commit other crimes.

Everyone has been accused of something. Plus te FBI cleared the Satanists of all the charges after an investigation. People were just more interested in hearing about children being raped and murdered then a group of people who idealogically differ from the mainstream. Satanists believe in Hell and Heaven, but their concept of Hell is not very good, they think they won'r suffer but be rewarded and enjoy the path they have chosen. Mortals have no insight that would allow them to know for sure, it's Faith as a part of the Religion and having Trust in a merciful being AKA God. To me, he's the God representing Love. People who associate with Satanism don't all believe the same thing, which is true whatever side of the fence you fall on

There are different forms of Satanism, but the majority doesn't believe Satan exists. However, even the theistic Satanists don't generally believe that they'll be rewarded in hell or that Satan is a fallen angel. To believe Satan is a fallen angel is to accept he is inferior to god, therefore you won't find too any Satanists who buy into this whole "reverse-christian" mentality. Those that do are generally treated with hostility in the Satanic community.

It perpetuates the 80s myth that all Heavy Metal is Satanic, but Geraldo saves some face by saying most are not, in terms of the fans... If he didn't he'd be insane himself. I didn't like how Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. It depicted the Hindu goddess Kali as the Hindu equivalent of Satan. First of all, Kali is NOT a goddess of the underworld. Second of all, even though she is the goddess of disease and destruction, she slays demons. Disney's Hercules did the same thing with Hades. Just because a god or goddess rules the underworld DOES NOT mean they are like Satan.

When can religious people just enjoy their own faith without imposing it on people ? I'm not saying all religious people are full on and willing to abandom people because of their beliefs. Through the centuries all religions have shown signs of being very extreme in their beliefs, including satanists. There is a saying from a Pakistani cleric that says "if you see another man he is either your brother in religion or humanity". You said everyone has their right to their religious beliefs, not every christian has that view.

This is so funny, really takes me back... I guess me and most of my friends are from the first generation corrupted by evil satanic heavy metal.
