  • The 5.45x39 is the best assault rifle round for an average soldier, but in special operations (mostly CQB situations) it turned out that this round ricochets extremely. That is why a low ricochet round family (9x39 mm SP-5, SP-9 and SP-9) was created for the Vintorez and the Groza rifles. Only for special operation teams!

  • Looks like shit. Another Kalashnikov derived weapon... Obviously the Russians are not creative thinkers anymore.

  • @Tobriep81

    ...

  • @Tobriep81

not only that, they make a weapon ideal for room clearing yet defeat the purpose of cqb by attaching a grenade launcher to it .__.

  • @milkjugman666 I don't think you use grenade launchers in CQB my friend.

  • @Tobriep81 Why design something new when it works already? The Russians have come up with new designs like the AN-94.

  • @Tobriep81 Kalashnikov is a proved a rugged design few weapon system mechanisms are as reliable as this one.

  • What round does this use? 5.45?

  • @TaZ101SAGA

    9x39 mm

  • @TaZ101SAGA

    9x39 or 7.62x39

  • SMG with Grenade Launcher = Badass. )) The range is crap for sniping. But if you're stealthy, oh man the carnage.

  • AK 47 IS MORE EASY TO HANDLE AND POWERFUL THAN GROZA!

  • WTF is he saying!??

  • For some reason, I think this gun looks cool.

  • ACCURACY OF A KALASHNIKOV, FIREPOWER OF AN M16, ONE HIT FROM THIS AND IT'S ALL OVER

  • @cloudycolacorp Sorry friend, you got that one backwards. I think you mean accuracy of the M-16, Power of a Kalashnikov. The AK-47 fires a 7.62x39mm round, while the M-16 fires a weaker 5.56x45mm round, but is more accurate.

  • @AthrunZalaZaft that was the joke:(

  • Thumbs up if S.T.A.L.K.E.R. brought you here.

  • I need to learn fucking Russian...

  • OZ-14''Groza''=AKS74U bullpup system+sillencer, optic and 40mm grenade launcher but it's made only in Russia like other special weapons for special units.

  • ''GET OUT OF HERE STALKER!''

  • @egdqv13234 looool

  • @egdqv13234 My fav game! Wow man, just a few words and a completely ultimate STALKER game experience! ;)

  • Nice video, but I'd really hate to use a gun with ejection port RIGHT under my eye without any kind of protection system on the gun (like FN2000 has).

  • Where I buy the Groza?

  • I like the AK design, but i would not care to shoot this weapon {with my cheek on the dust cover}

It seems that it would knock my teeth loose.

    but im just guessing...

  • @rllang01 The ideal would be to put a quilted cheek rest pad, like the one used in the Dragunov SVU so it would buffer some of the shock created by the bolt group going back and forth and slamming the breech. Also, being the ejection port so close to your face, the smoke that comes out of it irritates the eyes and the mucous of your nose. Currently, the Groza is not being manufactured anymore, the AS VAL

  • It's terribly ugly, but I guess it's an alright weapon. But I'm not sure why they need another rifle on top of the AK-74 and AS VAL.

  • @Sursion7 This gun is a love it or hate it type of gun. Some people like it, some people don't. The reason for this was that with bulpup design in mind for this weapon, it can have the same barrel length of a standard AK, but still be compact while shouldering it. This allows it to have better accuracy, but not sacrifice the barrel length to keep that accuracy.

  • wish this had the caption/translation bullshit youtube forced on the videos but no! not for useful ones still a good video

  • I LIKE HOW RUSSIANS MADE THEIR GUNS WITH BROWN WOODEN PIECE.

    симпатичьный :P

  • interesting

    a Krinkov bullpup basically

  • is this gun good i am newb xD

  • @omid11 this gun best gun in the world.

  • ok why is it best? is it accurate? reliable? ergonomic? :D

  • "Beta" weapon. Even if it is reliable, powerful and efficient, it's and uncomfortable, crude and quie inaccurate weapon. Russians forces (special units) prefers much more classic disigns such as 9a91, SR-3, AS-val, even AKs74U.

Its real advantage is the grenade laucher.

  • i wonder if the dust cover has any form of cheek rest, i mean wouldn't the thing get super hot after a few mags?

  • in which the film becomes flat and uninvolving. I've watcher this film @ MovieWatcher[.]US

  • what is the pint of this? it looks so uncomfortable and it only has an 8 inch barrel which is the same as the AKS-74U.

  • @riseld4, I think it has a 16 inch barrel, but appear to be a 7 inch barrel because its a bullpup.

  • The wood on this weapon gives it some class. Russia sure knows how to make weapons.

  • Watch TVShows like OC-14 "Groza" at W W W . TV-Vide . NET

  • I wonder this can beat HK417 in immediate firing test just after underwater immersion.

  • That is a good weapon.

  • Take a swim and come over here...! I believe we issue a rifle to you after you complete immigration stuff.... we welcome all. Come here! work here. Buy a gun. Be an american! Like many haters say.. "we are the mutts of the world" True! but we are mutts with guns!

  • I would love to own this rifle in America, but is almost impossible to get one unless I travel to Russia and ship it back here illegally

  • Century Arms has some cheap bullpup AK rifle if you're interested. It's not worth risking prison time trying to bring a firearm illeagly into the country.

  • Comment removed

  • just like the ak's this weapon is beautiful

  • Yeah. Basically OC14 construction is based on AK. In fact, this is AK with different ammo and Bullpup.

As for me - this gun reminds me FN P90 a little.

  • Tis rifle does not look wery comfortable to fire. i mean the dust cover, not much fun in spring, terrible in winter. And sorry, no left-handers. Anyoune know if this one is actually used, or what operational reports are?

  • i know its not used anymore, it was used by spetsnaz in 1999 in Chechnya then fell out of production, thats all i know

  • just today, i read in papers that izhevsk factory, thats making AK's is facing bankrupcy.

  • wow, really? thats surprising, is it because they have not found many buyers?

  • Thats because other countries produce illegal version of AK like Bolgaria and even USA illegaly assembles it in Nevada from bolgarian parts (Arsenal Arms). Bolgaria got a tender to arm Iraqi army with AKs. USA approuved it yet noone cares that the production is a blatant rip-off from real Russian AK-74. IZHMASH loses 2 billion dollars annually because of such open robbery.

  • Yup, dude. Nothing to do about it. Its also easy and cheap to made on crudest technology now available everywhere. and theres other thing too, lot of them that were sold or donated 40-50 years ago are still kicking, so there is no need for new ones... 47's unbeliveably sturdy. Im not sure if bolgarian ones are illegal - i think theyre licensed.

  • I see where you coming from. Current bolgarian versions are not licensed. License expired a fair few years ago.

  • Hm... i googled it, and it seems you're right. First i think they can be pieces assembled from surplus parts (like cz 58s, wich can be bought brand new, althru its decades out of production), but it seems these are still in production. Im also surprised that Iraq got new AK's, I knew they were supposed to rearm to m16 some time ago.

  • Well, the US can import Russian small arms, but thanks to the surviving clauses from the old ASS-ault Weapons Ban of 1994, we're still stuck with the cheap Romanian copies (BATFE won't let the REAAAAAL Izhmash and Norinco production weapons in).

Don't blame us, blame the fucking liberals and their gay-ass gun control policies. :-P

  • All I wish could happen is that AK as a name brand gets same protections as any other name brand. I spoke with a man from IZHMASH and he told me that no company that actually has license to make AKs has clause that allows it to arm another country. Only for production for its own armed forces.

I want to own a firearm but i cant. too many pollies wanna look all law-and-order. If i have a gun I can stop almost any assault on me. I dont wanna wait 15 min for cops. by then - too late.

  • Well, the US didn't stop Russia from raping Chechnya, maybe thats worth 2 billion, since lives of others is worthless to Russians.

  • Don't drag Chechnya into this. Lives of others worth nothing to USA too. My mate was deployed to Iraq and he was with a US convoy. when they heard a shot from somewhere off to side and no bullets came their way they just hosed the whole street with .50 cal. So they aren't the saints you show them to be. And in chechnya Russians were fighting armed separatists in first war (which miserably failed) and then later terrorists in second campaign.

  • Nice to have an excuse like those apartment bombings to bolster support isn't it?

Too few russians now question only the failures of tier government, those who do disappear.

  • Do you honestly believe that every Russian who questions the government disappear? Come on man, thats far from the truth. Í might as well bring the IRA into this.

BTW why are we discussing politics of governments in a channel of a counter-terrorist firearm. A bit out of place to me lol

  • Why not, you brought up how the world has done you wrong when the rest of the world knows crimes your government has committed with full support of the people (except for those that end up dead).

  • Ha, and the US is any better? what about Israel? they both have done many bad things.

  • I do not recognise the state of isreal.

  • @OneShotPaddy

    me neither

  • @OneShotPaddy I do not recognise backward religious medieval ideologies.

  • грозв эффективна только вусловиях города, вобщем снеочень вещ

  • does anybody knows a page were i can buy this weapon??? and by the way this weapon is beautiful

  • hitman's case

  • i want S.T.A.L.K.E.R

    =((

  • 'tis called the Tnder S14 in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.

  • Fucking awesome weapon

  • This is one of my favorite weapons in S.T.A.L.K.E.R (a russian game that takes place in Chernobyl)

  • that game is fuckin scary.

  • The game is from Ukraine. ;)

  • russian language=D

  • It not 7.62x39 it 9x39. On a distance of 100 metres a bullet-proof vest 4 classes are not protection from OC-14 Groza. And from AK-47 will protect. Sorry me for my English.

  • I think the Israeli Tavor is pretty cool too.

If this gun is as reliable as the AK, it could be quite a potent weapon in close quarters.

  • Israeli Tavor looks like copy of Steyr Aug with some changes to the outward appearance.

  • well, its not. Its gas system is actually AK-like.

  • as is the gas system with rotating bolt of the Steyr Aug...

  • Steyr of course works similar way, what i have in mind is that in AK's (and TAR also if im correct) uses is long stroke system (piston unseparable from bolt carrier), while Aug's system is short stroke (where piston only gives impulse to bolt carrier, but it is not welded to it, and does not travel all the way back with BC).

  • AK47 ftw!

  • russian shit, your bastard? wtf hav the uk maked (i mean GOOD weps?)ak was maked in 1950-yrs. and the whole world still useng thath. wath the uk hav maked? just shit guns.

  • Wow. You know, I had thought up a bullpup design for the AK-47 that wasn't terribly gross looking... Unfortunately, it looks like it's been done already.. DAMN IT! What's sad is that it looks exactly like the concept I drew up, save that the buttstock was lower and the original AK ironsights stayed intact. Personally, I don't like that Handle/Ironsight combination

  • bullpup ak's have been around for a long time.

  • it's called ballpup system not a copy the steyr aug was the first weapon who used this system later copied by french famas and british sa80

  • @ dragonlord179: The Russians had a bullpup design back in 1946. Google for the Korobov TKB-408.

  • Comment removed

  • Wow, you should do some research. the AUG is by no means the first bullpup. The concept was first used in bolt action rifles such as the Thorneycroft carbine of 1901.

  • I'd like to also add that the British L85A2's development stems from the EM2 which predates the Austrian Steyr AUG.

  • i wish these vids had subs

  • lol since when did a weapon become a fashion accessory to some!

  • No matter if it´s Ugly oder coppied you guys are just jealous ;). It look a bit strange but it´s a good Gun I think.

  • L85 is only now a good weapon after H&K revamped them, they initially had terrible problems like the mags dropping out unexpectantly. They still suffer from a slight balance issue that can actually be worked around through a grenade launcher attachment.

  • i know what u mean about the mags dropping out, ive used the L98A1 Cadet GP version and even with just 20 rounds in the mag it drops out heckler and kock have just recieved an order for a number of new ones to be produced for forces and cadets, the cadet 1 will have semi-auto function aswell but not until 2010

  • nahh the whole world still usen ak.

    (and other sssr countryes.)

  • wat? erm yea i know AK's are like the most popular in the world, I never said they werent ... lol

  • maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan that gun look UGLY!!!!!

  • your Mc`donnalds mama is ugly !

  • Alot of countries are adopting the Bullpup design...Russia, France, UK, etc...

  • Is this the new Russian combat rifle? It looks a little like UK SA80. I have noticed that the PLA have also adopted this design.

  • You want this gun? Nice.. our army open for you xD (our army- russian army)

  • Wow O.o nice gun. I want one xD

  • Also, I would doubt anything polaks make. Probably the only thing they good at is complaining. Izraeli weapons deserve some recognition, but no cigar ( except for tavor ). desert eagle sucks, it's barrel is threaded inside by being pressed in and not forging. Therefore it's not accurate.

  • This complex Groza was made in 1979 when imi didn't even have in mind tavor. Understand one simlpe rule: any technology coming out public of Russia will be at least 10 to 20 yeras old. Because the current technology is what it's supposed to be: secret. Miltary and Natural resources technologies are espessially closely guarded in Russia. The companies in these sectors are government entities, therefore closely watched and control.

  • Intresting concept although not as impresive as the polish Kbk wz. Jantar (check wikipedia) and not as practical as the IMI Tavor Tar-21

  • Unbelievable

  • Man I want a semi auto Groza in the US. 9x39 would be awesome but hard to come by. 7.62x39 would be fine.

  • this groza is more then 20 years old

and was usesd a fair good amount

now what is used now 2 new tipe grozas

one new type groza uses internally suppressed barrel new type of groza not even ak action more like cz, vz, dragon, action mix .

Old one you can't use suppressor and grenade same time you will die

New one suppressor is allways attached

I know for fact theirs new ammo for Abakan in use now u ll, know what in 5yrs 10yrs, sorry :) Ok hint Russian Olympic Games in 60s

  • You dumb, Russian olympic Games was in 1980

  • OK in the 60s a cal was developed and shot by the Russian olimpic team

i am talking about the caliber do i have to clerify everything?

  • this is the old vertion this one is old graza used in afgan and chechnia by spetz. the new one looks good better ergenomic grip, plastic shell thoe. new russian weapons people see only 5-10yrs after thay alredy used by spetsnaz

old one you cant use suppressor and granade same time too you will die

  • their great weapons, dont get me wrong, but that's the only design flaw i've realy noticed

  • i agriy for bullpop is better to have usa tipe drop mag design for cumfrot and speed

. new Groza still dont have it. but not beter for abakan or ak i like it on non bulpop more becouse you can use 60 rnd mags or 30 in the same time u.s.a is stuck with dubble stack mags russian design u can use quadruplle stack 60 rnd mags because resever not in way .

if usa copys quadruplle stack mags for ARs thay luse like 15 rnd in same size mag as AK

  • and an update there is a US company that has coped the RU. 60rnd mag but its a 50rnd quad mag for the ar (hint: this company sells the moast expencive AR 120rnd drum mag on the market)

if you need it youll find it

  • the bad thing about russina guns is that the magazine ejection system is crap, you flip the switch, like any other magazine release, but you have to tug and yank the magazine. THE M16 and the AR15 just drop the magazine free fall when you hit the switch. They need to fix that design flaw, reloading an AK is a pain in the neck when you're timed. and putting them ack in is a pain too. jiggling it aorund just to get it to lock

  • its also easier to loose your mag or have it drop on you while moving. There is an upside and a downside. I have an AK have no problems.

  • It's a trade off really. The AR-15 magazines have problems being suppourted in the mag well on just one side by the mag catch, and their light construction has them bend, deform, and overseat easily leading to the highly common feed problems.

The Kalashnikov magazines are clunky and slow to swap, but they're over built and suppourted front to back in the gun when seated, and rarely suffer from feed issues.

    Different design philosophies is all.

  • It IS an ugly gun but I bet it works great. I can see it being ideal for spetsnaz and motorized infantry. It would suck to have to fire it left handed though...with the cocking handle moving right by your face 8/

  • youre funny dude !!! HAHA

  • 00:55 hehe

  • when will this gun be avaliable to public?

  • its only in military use like obokan or beryl.

but try in china, they copy evrything without license :) but quality will be very poor hehe

    sry for my english

  • that's like 1/2 the world

  • ugly lookin weapon.. but russian small arms are famous for their excellent reliability...

  • what u smokin? its the coolest weapon in the world!!!

i wish they made an airsoft of this

  • It's available in all the 39mm Russian cases. 7.62x39, 5.45x39, and the subsonic capable 9x39, which is pretty impressive going through the silencer.

  • from what I remember they are very accurate

  • There is 7.62x39,9x39(made from necked up 7.62x39 case) and possibly 5.45x39 but I have never seen it.

I have wanted Groza parts to retrofit my Kalashnikov for a long time but none have shown up

  • lol it's actually 5.45x39mm, the same cartridge as the AK-74u

  • "Its 9x39mm. Its a powerful armor-piercing short range round, used also in VSS Vintorez."

"lol it's actually 5.45x39mm, the same cartridge as the AK-74u".

    It comes in both guys.

  • Its 9x39mm. Its a powerful armor-piercing short range round, used also in VSS Vintorez.

  • its like an AK-bullpup that holds like a P90... its still 7.62, though, I'm guessing...

  • Looks like the bastard child of the SA80,AK and steyr aug

  • not the best recoil

  • fineeee.....?????

  • This is a neat little carbine. I'd like to see this become available in the USA in a semi-auto version.

  • Looks like good gun.

  • ah- is htis the 762x39 ?? cant believe that it sounds so light... this must be the silencable 9mm variant wiht 20 rounds magazine. right? i dont understand anyrussian you know. i jsut know htey say "[grasa] instead [grousa]"

  • what a goofy gun. goffy in a good way. i think the russians shudda done somethin tith the PPSH-41 or PPD-40, although the PPD became the PPSh... I still think they shudda branched from the PPSh

  • "actually it's not, the Vepr is the just the bullpup version of the ak, and somewhat shitty one the Groza was originally a 9mm cqc weapon, later they also issued a 7.62mm variant for better stopping power."

Groza is the same bullpup version of AK74, maybe a bit more converted. I repeat, bullpup is the stubidest thing I've ever saw.

  • At least this stupid thing can be aimed without an aimpoint. If you take the dot off the Vepr you have an AK rear sight and a really tall front sight which makes for the dumbest idea of all time.

  • cool :D looks abit like a famas combined with an L85A2

  • this comment is irrelevant, shows the stupidity

this is a Russian weapon based on AK design

FamasG2 and L85A2 are both sucks

  • The same idiotism as the Ukrainian Vepr assault rifle - absolutely unusable scheme, the whole head is over the rifle, absolutely no chance in close combat and so on. A project of winning money from the government.

  • actually it's not, the Vepr is the just the bullpup version of the ak, and somewhat shitty one the Groza was originally a 9mm cqc weapon, later they also issued a 7.62mm variant for better stopping power.

  • YEah, and the Vepr is a piece of crap. It's a mash of different weapons. Noticed the M-16 sight? Lukasheno said it was added specially to show unity of NATO and Ukraine. What an ass-kisser.

  • "Lukasheno said it was added specially to show unity of NATO and Ukraine"

    Lukashenko is the Belorussian president.

Fucking idiots make shit up in order to say something.

  • My bad, I meant Yuschenko.

  • As well as smartasses such as the one who said bullpups are the "stupidest things he ever saw". Man, I swear, people here in YouTube are fucking retards.

  • bullpups are stupid,.. you can not fire weak handed, the trigger mechanism is more brittle because you are forced to use a long linking system, and how are you supposed to change mags while keeping the weapon on target?

  • Groza is AK-based too, can be clearly seen on the vid. It comes in 3 calibers now, 5,45, 7,62 and 9 mm. 9 mm SP5/6 is just a necked up 7,62 housing heavy subsonic bullet. Also fired by Val,Vintorez.

Whole head over rifle might be a fault, if you're lying prone in some trench. But in CQB you will not want to lean low to reach your sights. You will walk or run fast, not crawl, so it's nice to have your sights up there, and good open field of view around it, not blocked by receiver.

  • Can I have this guy's job?

  • Russians do make some crazy awesome weapon!

  • woooww its rare. cool

  • wa cool

  • Thank you so much for putting this video up. I love this gun.
