To MzPupkisx and Camille8222, Chanukah can technically be spelled any way do to the fact that it isn't an English word. The proper way to spell it would be in Hebrew but not everyone knows Hebrew, so to make it easier for everyone we commonly spell it as Chanukah or Hanukkah. It's basically the same concept as spelling any "foreign" word using the English alphabet.

And I'm not just b.s-ing you. I'm jewish, I know what I'm talking about.
