For the most part, I believe the Ten Commandments set out reasonable moral imperatives, but that is not because they come from God. For I find no inherent moral imperatives present in this reality, only those which we choose. While Eye2EyeIIIV refuses to kill "his brothers" because that is what the Lord, Jesus Christ instructed him to do, I refuse to kill people because I feel that would violate their human dignity.
There was one part of this video that upset me. 4:46 "If you hate your brother in your heart, you might as well have murdered him." I find that message very disagreeable. Firstly, hating someone should not be a sin: perhaps you have good reason to hate him, perhaps he has offended you. Secondly, immoral actions cannot be equated like that. Hatred is simply not the same as murder.

The commonly recognised commandments are rules Moses gave earlier in the same book, not what Yahweh wrote himself at all. No mention there of stealing, coveting, killing, adultery etc.

AS Christians, we are freed from the '10 Commandments". Even Jesus, when asked which commandment was the greatest, He quoted a separate part of the Law, saying that the greatest was to Love God, etc, and the second, love your neighbor. These, specifically, were not part of the commandments, though they encompassed the entire law AND prophets.
The commandments, along with the rest of the law, were nailed to the cross, and Christians are not under it, though nine of them are repeated in the N.T.

For the most part, I believe the Ten Commandments set out reasonable moral imperatives, but that is not because they come from God. For I find no inherent moral imperatives present in this reality, only those which we choose. While Eye2EyeIIIV refuses to kill "his brothers" because that is what the Lord, Jesus Christ instructed him to do, I refuse to kill people because I feel that would violate their human dignity.

There was one part of this video that upset me. 4:46 "If you hate your brother in your heart, you might as well have murdered him." I find that message very disagreeable. Firstly, hating someone should not be a sin: perhaps you have good reason to hate him, perhaps he has offended you. Secondly, immoral actions cannot be equated like that. And just because he makes some historical errors does not mean his argument is wholly flawed.

Youtube really needs to allow more characters in each comment
So basically what I'm hearing is that you spread the Gospel of Christ because Jesus told you to and because you need a Saviour. Here's my reason why you should NOT spread the Gospel of Christ:
- By doing so, you are pushing your beliefs and views on other people and showing disrespect for the views and beliefs that other people hold

13 Women are equal as men
14 All races are equal
15 Children shall not be overworked , abused , sexualy abused , married .

AS Christians, we are freed from the '10 Commandments". Even Jesus, when asked which commandment was the greatest, He quoted a separate part of the Law, saying that the greatest was to Love God, etc, and the second, love your neighbor. These, specifically, were not part of the commandments, though they encompassed the entire law AND prophets.
The commandments, along with the rest of the law, were nailed to the cross, and Christians are not under it, though nine of them are repeated in the N.T.

Firstly, George is a comedian. Flawed, simplistic logic is forgivable if it makes the bit funnier. That said, his assertions are certainly more reasonable than yours. But I can't accuse you of flawed logic... religion is devoid of ANY logic at all.
