  • Is he really bragging about a "center-of-mass" shot on a 25yd indoor range?

I did center of mass [every time] at 300m with the M16A1 with irons.

  • CHANGE

    OBVIOUSLY MISLEADING

    TITLE

    please?

  • omg i watched the video cuz i thot they'd compare the two guns in ome way but... i guess not? HEY! How reliable do u guys find the SU-16? Sometimes ppl say they jam O.o did u do any mods to make it more reliable? Or is it reliable outa the box?

  • lol this video is troll as fuck

  • fuckin retards

  • Title Sucks. i will flag this video, i suggest everyone else do the same, i love firearms and im embarrassed to be associated with you.

  • Yea the video sucked guy! I mean, I know you've heard that already so I hate to beat a dead horse but mannn... You probably should have kept this vid in your private collection, wasent good enough for the public hence all the hater comments!?!

  • WTF is this??? talk about a bullshit title..

  • how long is that scope and how much does it weigh.?

  • this is douche bag mccoy for mywarvideos.

ps i bet you couldn't do this in a real combat situation, i play CoD all the time thus my actual war experience is better than yours. plus i have prestiged like 16 times.

  • haha i love how much you guys suck. awesome confidence booster.

  • worst vs vid ever wheres the spread rterd

  • so let me see if i got this right, you claim to test two competing models of 5.56 firearms.

yet you show nothing that stte any factual information, and just proceed to stroke your dumbass redneck ass by showing video of you shooting only one of teh firearms..

god, you are a grade ! fucking moron, reported as promotes terrorism.

  • Nice giant scope fag do you RAM that up your boyfriends pucker hole?

  • The title is very misleading.

  • k not trying to rag on you like most assholes, but what were you comparing between these two rifles? I love them both, what were your groups? where you standing the whole time you were shooting? Which one did you do better with. If not title this vid Shooting an ar-15 and a kel tec su16c and all the hagglers will go away

  • Im stoked now, Im an army reservist and Ive always wondered what would happen if we had a civil war and i was called out to fight. now i know it will be a quick and easy battle if atleast 60% of americans are really like this. Thanks guys, I can sleep tonight. ;) True patriots. aaaaah. j/k, yall had some sweet ass AR's, i know yall weren't for real. Former military? People seriously, they are being jokers, I can't think of how many dumbass vids or pics ive done with M16's and SAW's. lmao.

  • @SocomGrizzly when the revolution comes i hope you side with the republic and the people not foreign interest through government

  • you guys suck

  • what jokers. common jackasses with a camera. You can tell how well experienced they are by just watching their trigger pull and trigger reset as they "slap" off rounds. Fingers coming off the trigger in the well and everything. haha people watch this and think these guys know what they are doing? Then these clowns give a reveiw or opinion? What ? look to pros. Simple. or you will be mislead!

  • dislike for the Bush tshirt alone.

  • the guy who made this is an idiot

  • why do you have such a large scope on a AR-15???? your video was shit

  • why do you have such a large scope on a AR-15????

  • do they really need a scope that fucking big for a target that is only 50 ft away

  • WTF guys, where is the Kel-Tec?? 2 seconds to through the mag in. 2 seconds showing the back of someones head who is pulling the trigger.....Goes to show anyone can make a video.

  • those guns arent even pack a punched yet..... bullshit

  • one of the most terrible gun vids on youtube.

  • @whatdafloopyjoop Well thanks for helping me break the 21,000 mark on views. How many times did you watch it?

  • @mywarvideo 21000 people saw this as a study in how not to make a video

  • @mywarvideo fuck you and your your war video ( you aint seen combat asshole

  • Good video.short and totally pointless.

  • well, this just throws the concept of a proper trigger press completely out the window, along with where the trigger rests on the finger.

  • @bptryp Well princess this wasn't a pageant... just shooting some targets. I'll remember to hold my breath next time for ya when I take a 50 yard shot at the range.

  • @mywarvideo Everybody is a critic these days. People should realize hitting the target is primary everything else is secondary. If you are hitting tight groups and they are consistent nobody can really argue with your results.

  • @bptryp That is all a bunch of crap. There are no proper ways to pull your trigger. There are many people I have seen "snaking" their trigger and can put out beautiful tight groups all day long. Also things like holding your breathe is extremely unrealistic. There are people who compete in shooting competitions for a living and many of them hold their trigger the way they want and also some follow through on the trigger and some do not. You do whatever works.

  • @Warpath2198 i can immediately tell you know nothing of gun control. If you think there are no proper ways to pull a trigger, you are completely ignorant. You claim to know what pros do... as them. there is always proper technique. Some techniques may work, but they will always be inferior to what is proper. If you want to stay i your world, then do so. It will help you to seek out professional instruction. I teach people how to shoot every day.

  • @bptryp lol I know nothing? I score 244-247 out of 250 on my Fed test every year. I can't even count how many people come out of the Army or Marines who fail that test trying out for my line of work. As for your state police tests I ace those and they are a joke. As for a rifle dude? You have 3 points of contact. Holding your breathe is ridiculous in any kind of a fight. Maybe if you are having fun you are sitting in a tree stand it works. A rifle is way too easy and forgiving.

  • @Warpath2198 I didn't say anything about state, kid. Like i said, "breath control", not holding your breath IS and always will be important for long range shooting. In a "fire fight", no....but then again, you're bringing up two different concepts and manipulating everything I say to work for you. Anticipated if you work for the gov. I didn't say to ask someone that was in the military, I said ask someone that was a sniper in the military. Again, you would have to read first.

  • @bptryp As for trivial stuff like a trigger pull the biggest problem people have with shooting is anticipation. That is 90% of peoples problem that I see shoot horribly. I already have years upon years of training and you are mad because I call bullshit on your 1895 style shooting fundamentals. You are not one of those guys who shoots holes in the roof at the local gun range are you?

  • @Warpath2198 There is nothing unrealistic about breath control. The only time it's really not that important is with a handgun or shotgun. If you are making semi-long to long distance shots with a rifle, then yes, it's very important. Spend 1 minute looking down the sights of a rifle and this light bulb will come on for you. If you happen to know someone that was/is a sniper in the military, ask them. Until you know something, don't comment on it.

  • No suprise here.

I like the PLR as a novelty. but the SU... I'd just save up longer for a nice AR as depicted above. Bitchin scope too!

  • @MCpeepantzz Thanks and I have to agree with you. The Su16 was like a broke toy in comparison. Sold it right after this video and bought another AR.

  • @Kevintb10 You like that?

  • @emaxxking No I would look at Ruger Mini 14 over this weapon.

  • @zapthycat There was no comparison. The AR is better!

  • @mywarvideo Obviously a $1000 gun is going to be better than a $400 gun. But there IS a comparison. If I want a rifle that can fold into itself, still use AR mags, hold 2 in the stock, and is CA legal... not to mention I have a family to feed on one income... well, maybe, just maybe, I would prefer the SU over the AR. It's all conditional.

  • did you do the break in period like kel-tec recommends? what kind of ammo... probably wolf

  • @tccfootballplya Yes plenty of breakin and all different typs of ammo. Same ammo was being switched between the AR and the SU. After replacing some parts it workwed better but still jammed.

  • a+ just for using this song.....havent heard anybody use it...amazing song...

  • @fireball676 thanks for the comment. I love this song.

  • @fireball676 Thanks.

  • @emaxxking I've been very happy with my Su16. It had a few feed problems with the first 100 or so rounds but no problems now.

  • nice scope

  • @2bidfilmsguy Thanks.

  • @2bidfilmsguy

    yeah for a 25 yard target...lol

  • Comment removed

  • Why the hell would you need a scope like that on your AR? Congratulations, your gun is now heavy and bulky, you can kiss quick shots and CQB goodbye, and you have a stupid-looking rifle. Put that massive scope on a precision weapon and actually USE its capability.

  • @EricsTechTalk hmm, i have seen people hit targets up to 600yrds with an ar15. It all matters what you are going to use it for.

  • @r6v2man Oooooh, 600 yards, that is soooo far. /sarcasm You can do that with a 3x9. You don't need a 1x10000000 scope to make use of the AR's long-range capabilities. Not to mention, those are man-sized targets you're talking about. All that scope allows you to do at that range is see how far your groups are missing the CoM. >{

The AR is a well-engineered, accurate weapon, but it is NO sniper rifle and should be kept light and compact to maintain its philosophy of use.

  • @EricsTechTalk i was just using 600 yards as an example. But philosphy of use depends on each persons need, or desire. If all you have is an ar15, and a shotgun, and a you want to prepare for long range engagements, what are you gunna do. Are you gunna put a scope on the shotgun, no, you are going to try to make thee ar15 as capable at those ranges as possible, if that means adding a scope, or buying a more accurate barrel, then you will do it.

  • @EricsTechTalk what if you are not gong to use it for CQB, or QUICK SHOTS? What if you are going to engage people at long ranges. You are just a retard who gets his ideas and infrormation and ideas from watching peole ion youtube, and playing call of duty. You havent hasd real life experience, or care to research anything. You just post what you havelearned from youtube.

  • @r6v2man

i like you: ) (no sarcasm)

u didnt act like a dick and gave sound reasoning

  • @THarrisson Thanks THarrison

  • @EricsTechTalk what if you are not gong to use it for CQB, or QUICK SHOTS? What if you are going to engage people at long ranges. You are just a retard who gets his ideas and infrormation from watching peole on youtube, and playing call of duty. You havent had real life experience, or care to research anything. • @r6v2man lolwut

This coming from a fucking AIRSOFT enthusiast? I'm in the Air Force, I'm a sport shooter, a gun collector, and a hunter. I don't have to take this shit from you; go play with your fucking kiddy toys.

A SIMPLE 3X9 OR 3X12 SCOPE IS GOOD ENOUGH FOR AN AR-15. PERIOD.

  • @EricsTechTalk How do you know whats good enough for every person in the world, i respect you for joining the armed forces, but that doesnt mean you know everything in the world about what people need or what is good enough.

  • @r6v2man A 9x zoom will provide adequate viewing area on a target at even the fringe range of an AR-15, and the reticle apex when zoomed still remains sub-MoA and does not obscure the target or point of aim. The groups at that range also far exceed the perceived size of the apex. In other words, a scope any more powerful is simply a luxury that comes at the severe cost of size and weight.

  • @r6v2man (And others concerning "long-range" optics) Marine snipers, if not mistaken, use 10 power scopes. Why? Ballistics calculation is made more simple. Granted there's a difference in training, but massive zoom does not equate to marksmanship.

Anyway, my impressions are that the Kel-Tec is a pack rifle at best, taking the #1 spot in the hearts of sport shooters at best. Price is not an issue. Buy an AR upper and lower receiver separately for about 50 bucks more, and get a proven platform.

  • Nice video man. subbed

  • My SU-16CA was my first .223 rifle. It used to jam at least once per mag, maybe twice, but it was because I was using shit ammo. I switched to Federal rounds and it has almost never jammed since. That was a few years back. I love my mine.

  • @emaxxking No this thing Jammed like a mofo. You would be SOL if your life depended on this weapon.

  • Comment removed

  • @mywarvideo It has a break-in period.

  • @mywarvideo I have info that SU-16 is ok with steel brass ammo(wolf)

  • @mywarvideo wtf dude. how much did you even shoot it? was it already broken in? i don't own one myself, but i'm considering buying one because i've heard nothing but good reports from people who have actually owned it and shot it regularly for several months without problems, other than the initial break in period. i hope you're not giving a bad report on it after only using it for one day.

  • @SuperTasm bought A su16a about 5 years ago and I love it. However its true there was a bit of a break in period where it did jamb quite a few times, for the first 200 rounds or so, but once it seated up and all the parts seemed to mesh, It has'nt jammed since, even with old crapy wolf ammo. Over all I really like this gun, its light weight, cheap, and reliable. Great gun for the money.

  • @strandhogg Thanks, Hogg. The dipshits that made this video are just advertising for their useless website. They don't care enough to give an honest review of a good quality, high value weapon.

  • @SuperTasm LOL, Touchy aren't you about your little Kel-Tec. I hope you don't kiss your mom with that mouth. Yes we had the Kel-Tec for several weeks and took it out often and shot many many rounds out of it and YES it still jammed like a TOY! Only after many calls to Kel-Tec and parts replacements was it able to fire ok. Again only OK... not GREAT! I'll take a real weapon like an AK or an AR over this toy any day. Remember... you only get one life!

  • @strandhogg Yea it was ok after replacing some parts but ended up selling it for another AR.

  • @SuperTasm Not worth it.

  • @zapthycat The SU16 Jammed to much to even show it fireing.

  • @mywarvideo Yeah it jams the first 200 250 rounds until its broken in and if you fired 200 250 rounds and it still jammed then you might have gotten a bad rifle but the su16 is a great weapon

  • @APatrioticRebel Yea it was ok after replacing some parts but ended up selling it for another AR.

  • @mywarvideo it must have been new, they take time to break in

  • @mywarvideo yeah.... was it brand new?? The su-16 has a break in period because its cnc machined

  • @vampire847 It was used. It was ok after replacing some parts but ended up selling it for another AR.

  • This video looses all credibility as soon as you see the "Bush-Cheney 2004" T-shirt.

  • @TheRealSiguy You loose credibility with a comment like that! Go hug a tree!

  • @mywarvideo You can't support Cheney and claim any allegiance to the constitution. Within the Bush Administration we saw one of the most robust and widespread attacks on civil liberties granted by the constitution, since Clinton's assault weapon ban. Obama has made steps to reverse some, but keeps others, disappointingly.

  • @stratelite AMEN! and its because Obama is Cheney's cousin ;-)

  • @stratelite While you sit in your house scared... shitting yourself remember there will be people like us out there protecting you.

  • @mywarvideo lol

  • @TheRealSiguy Hell this guy posted comments saying his Kel Tec jammed all the time, so that's why he didn't put a video up. He's full of crap! He's just an AR-15 fanboy & doesn't know how to take care of his weapons properly. I own the SU16 & it NEVER has problems! Of course, I take care of mine. Basically, the AR-15 is nothing but a stripped-down, generic M16! Not a bad gun, but not as spectacular as he makes it seem!

Plus, he supports the fascist Republicans!

    He's an idiot!

    Plain & Simple!

  • @CeruleanTexasSkies need a tissue?

  • Fucking dumb asses, thanks for wasting everyone's time on a shitty plug vid.

  • @urna55 Your very welcome! HAHAHAAHAHAHHAH!

  • @urna55 HELL YEAH!!!! He's a fucking AR-15 fanboy!

  • There's like no comparisons, but found it cool that I run the exact same setup on my ar, lol

  • The su-16 operates more like the ak47 than the ar. Got a bolt design like the ar. I use my su-16 more than my ar. sooo much more compact, lighter and versatile.

  • The SU-16 is designed for an AR role. And in many ways is superior.

  • @aphsknight74 The SU-16 is a FAR BETTER rifle!

  • @CeruleanTexasSkies Um, Not really. It only wins in weight, And portability. The Ar wins for Modularity, Reliability(personal experience) Availability, Variations, Etc. Overall the AR-15 platform is superior. The Ergos on the SU-16 cause a slight increase in recoil due to the shape, Causing a pivoting point in the line or drive. And lastly, The AR-15 platform is tried and proven for years and years to come. I Love the SU-16CA, But the AR-15 is a better Platform all around.

  • @aphsknight74 Reliability is a JOKE! I know plenty of veterans of wars from Vietnam to Afghanistan who would beg to differ on the reliability of the platform. AR-15's are nothing more than semi-automatic M-16's for the civilian sector. You sling this gun through mud, sand, dust, snow etc. & it is going to malfunction on you - GUARANTEED! I suppose it all boils down to personal preference, but the way I see it, if junior enlisted to top brass Marines & Army say it's crap - IT IS!

  • @CeruleanTexasSkies You're talking to Ex 11B. So I know what the AR-15 is. And properly maintained, It can hold its own. And I have slung my around in sand storms and still fought with it. Just a couple malfunctions, And I remember that day like it was ten minutes ago. Reliability is a factor that alot of people over exaggerate and don't give the AR credit where it's due. It's a Precision rifle and needs to be maintained well. If you take care of it, Like SOLDIER ARE TAUGHT TO DO.

  • @aphsknight74 Yeah well just because you are ex-infantry doesn't mean that you speak for the majority of soldiers out there. The only reason our forces are even still using the M-4 is because of Congressional funding reservations & the fact that we prefer American-made firearms for our military. Otherwise, we would've gone with H&K's XM8 - which in ALL ways is superior to our M-4! Hell man, if you don't believe me : in 2007 the Army dust tested the M-4 against other AR's & the M-4 was the WORST!

  • @aphsknight74

I was Airborne 11B and sure it works... but having to add the caveat that WITH PROPER CLEANING it works is ridiculous. The SCAR is a far, far superior weapon. Piston driven actions are just better.

  • @soldierfalcon Soldiers are taught to clean their weapon regularly. I was, Were you? Why neglect your weapon? And yes, I am very familiar with the SCAR, And am in the process of acquiring the SCAR-H civi version. Yes, I know that piston guns tend to be more reliable, But the SU-16CA I have must be an exception, cause it won't cycle Wolf right, And my Rock River AR-15 will. Also, It's not as accurate firing M855 as my RR.

  • @aphsknight74

Of course I was taught to clean my weapon regularly... lol. I did too or I probably would not have come home with my crossed rifles.

That said, why use Wolf? That Russian ammo is extremely corrosive and the steel cases play hell with extractors and wear them down faster. It is inferior ammo.

The gas impignment system of an AR is inherently more accurate than most other systems due to less moving parts. That's why the US adopted the M-16 in the first place.

  • @aphsknight74

Also, the SU-16 is not in the same class as an AR... the SCAR is. I have a Colt AR and until the SCAR came out, I could not justify changing to a different weapon system that is not combat proven and I have not trained using 10s of thousands of rounds on.

The SCAR is new technology. The AR is old technology. That said, I think the SU-16 is a viable alternative for someone on a budget. Companies like Kel Tec should be supported.

  • And the results of the match? Wheres the papers dude? I love the SU16CA.

  • You can check out the Kel-tec website and Nutnfancy's detailed review of the rifle for more info. I don't own and have never shot the Su series, but I've heard a lot of good about them. Nutnfancy compares them to the Mini-14 and the AR-15 type rifles....I think he has one of the best reviews out there.

  • Sorry I deteted the last comment about "such a big Scope at the range" by accident. I was trying to hit reply and missed it.

We just got the AR that day and were Scoping it in at 50 yards. That's the reason. Hell I hit the target at 50 yards with my .38 snub nose pistol.

That next week we took it outdoors and I was hitting a quarter sized target at over 100 yards everytime.

  • Sorry but the su-16 shoots cleaner and jams less and at less than half the price is way more tactical and lighter. I've done test of my own.

  • I really like the SU-16C but this one jammed like a mofo! After replacing some parts got it to work smooth as silk. Nice rifle.

  • What did you replace??

  • I think its because of the piston system instead of the gas?

  • you are very correct, m4,ar15,m16 uses direct gas blow back. this gun uses a piston system.

  • I have owned an AR15 for 10 years and put thousands of rounds through it. It has never jammed. I also used A2's and M4's in the military, none of them ever jammed.

  • ar and m4's are great weapon systems, not all tend to jam. bushmaster's mainly. My kel-tec su-16 vs my $1200.00 bushmaster in a 200rd ea test showed me that the su-16 at half the price functioned better and ate all the types of ammo you could throw at it with no malfunctions of any type, the bushmaster on the other hand while using federal and remmington ammo had 6 FTF and 2 FTE. this is not a cheap rifle by no means. Also the su-16 was much easier to clean as well as 80% cleaner.

  • I don't doubt you. From what I have seen the SU16 uses a piston instead of a tube and gaskey system like the AR's. It also uses AR mags, which is a great thing. Polymer and steel design. If they go this route and just work on quality etc. this will be an awesome company and it would help bring down the prices of the AR's. 800+ for AR's is ridiculous.

  • ya with bushmaster you are paying for the name, im gonna trade it in. what type do you use and stand by? i hear olympic arms make some good ones.

  • My buddy has an olympic arms, he likes it. I have a bushy. They are all Mil Spec anyway. Many of the AR manufacturers make parts for each other. The names don't mean jack.

  • Smith & Wesson is apparently trying to promote their M&P15s with some really good prices depending on where you are. No problems with mine so far, definitely less than 800.

  • they make good pistols too, like the pf9...

  • @Warpath2198 i'm glad to see a satisfied ar owner, tired of reading so many people saying how much they jam, i'm startin to build one this weekend! yay

  • what is the name of that song?

  • Living Color - Cult Of Personality

  • this is the range on dale mabry right?? good vid!!

  • yea this is Shooting Sports on N. Dale Mabry. Good eye!
