Along with, the BMW 545i..., those 300C Hemis are very fast cars...but, it could've put up a much better challenge than, that! It looks like, he wasn't even trying til', the 2nd race. I believe, the 545i beats the 300C(H.) in alot of catagories...but, not EVERY catagory!

aight this is stupid..i own a 2005 300c 5.7 hemi, the 300 outweighs the 545 by a lot!! the bmw owner has the jump cuz he knows when hes gonna honk the third time...and the 300 owner obviously isnt in the right gear, probably not using autostick like most of us 300 owners do... and ive raced a 545, i owned by at least half a car length, all i have is a intake and superchips..if you guys want proof then message me, ill get that 545i bmw to race me again....

Let's give credit where credit is due.

First of all, the 545 is a nice machine... but the 300c driver does not know how to race.

I have raced my friend in his 545 and we are dead even all the way to 110 mph.

The BMW driver is counting down and jumping the 300c driver because of anticipation...and as before mentioned, the 300c driver is not in the right gear...thus the jump.

Kudos to BMW though, it does this with a 4.6(?) liter engine...the Chrysler does it with a 5.7

well my mom got a 545i and i wouled recomend it more then the 335i cuz the extra 20k u pay for it pays of all the features and the v8 rocks i also have a 650 which is way faster they say a 335i c an beat my dads 650i but we raced 3 bone stock 0-100 0-60 0-145 and it dident pass us but the 335i also is a amazing car all bmws are :D

LOL.. if you say so man. i put $600 into my 300c which resulted in a half second gain. i now run the 1/8 in 8.72 secs with crappy tires, so i know an 8.5 is very possible. check my videos.

I think their main lack is efficiency, I feel the japanese know it well along with the Germans, but the big difference there is the Germans use more than 6 cylinders beyond say 3.5L?

Are they even using direct inject systems yet in American cars? Or at least in their "performance-orientated" cars? I'd imagine the corvette and Ford GT would. The GT is a frivilous waste, I'd much rather have a Ferrari F430. The Corvette is probably the only decent American sports car.

I have a BMW 335i coupe and it's amazing what the turbo technology + direct injection can do. BMW severely detuned the car. I'm getting a new chip that jumps it up from 300HP to about 420HP. (BMW Juicebox)

Well, the GT has multi point, and same with the vette. So I don't think so, I could be wrong because I never pay attention to american cars. But thats awesome, I think juicebox is way better than PROcede, cheaper too. I also saw like an 11 or 10 sec 335 with JB :D.
