Since global warming is real and its coming extremely fast due to carbon dioxide getting caught up in the earths atmosphere from burning OIL (global warming), something needs to be done NOW. The best plan at the moment is converting our internal combustion engines to natural gas. There is still some amount of green house gases being released but not nearly enough as oil. Now, that we have given ourselves more time to work with we can look into alternative energy like hydrogen or biofuels.
With help from the government we can have our cars converted to hydrogen or biofuel(I prefer hydrogen) and our homes powered by solar. In California the government pays 50% of the cost to have a home converted to solar and New Jersey government pays 70%. All the money going towards this war for OIL could be put into clean energy for AMERICA. We could potentially be the leaders in this kind of technology and for once not be in debt to other countries.
I would love to see a president who supports renewable energy rather than one who supports the war for OIL so that he can continue to get paid by the oil companies lobbyist. I mean, hello how do you think McCain has ten, multi-million dollar homes?? THE LOBBYIEST PAY FOR IT!!!! He gets paid for supporting oil BY the oil companies! This cant get any clearer! Obama doesnt take money from lobbyist in his campaign. He thinks about the country...and not making his own pocket fat.
As for your question...we already have an energy source, it all around us. The sun, the wind, water, trees, trash. It's just a matter of having a president who supports researching the technology that gets this energy safely to the people....and putting the tax payers money toward this clean energy that will save the american people tons of money! Imagine not having to pay your electric bill? Your home is being heated by the energy from the sun. Talk about boosting the economy!!

Are you making more than 250,000 a year after all deductions ? Than you are one of the 5% of American people who need to pay higher taxes for a few years until the national debt is paid. There is no way we can pay the 11.3 billion debt without raise the taxes and you cannot raise the taxes to people who face foreclosure or lost their job or the ones that barly meet the ends. The national debt will be 11.3 trillion after the $700 billion bail out that is proposed by Bush.He cut the taxes for the rich since he took office. The tax rate will be the same as during the Clinton administration when we had surplus and 20 million jobs were created. I make 32,000 / year and I am ok if I have to pay more if I can trust the president. If it is McCain and the republican party I do not think I can trust them. They will create another war and spend all our money :(

Do you know why we invaded Iraq? Because Saddam Hussein wouldn't let us in Iraq to see if he had weapons of mass destruction. He wouldn't let us in! And when 9/11 happened, we didn't know where the attackers were from, but we guessed they were from the Middle East. So then we invaded, and no, we didn't find WOMD, but we found factories and other facilities where he was MAKING weapons. If we didn't invade, how would we have known he didn't have them? We needed to investigate!

Since global warming is real and its coming extremely fast due to carbon dioxide getting caught up in the earths atmosphere from burning OIL (global warming), something needs to be done NOW. The best plan at the moment is converting our internal combustion engines to natural gas. There is still some amount of green house gases being released but not nearly enough as oil. Now, that we have given ourselves more time to work with we can look into alternative energy like hydrogen or biofuels.

With help from the government we can have our cars converted to hydrogen or biofuel(I prefer hydrogen) and our homes powered by solar. In California the government pays 50% of the cost to have a home converted to solar and New Jersey government pays 70%. All the money going towards this war for OIL could be put into clean energy for AMERICA. We could potentially be the leaders in this kind of technology and for once not be in debt to other countries.

As for your question...we already have an energy source, it all around us. The sun, the wind, water, trees, trash. It's just a matter of having a president who supports researching the technology that gets this energy safely to the people....and putting the tax payers money toward this clean energy that will save the american people tons of money! 1.)First off, he protested the war from the beginning and what he said in his protests is exactly what happened with this "mistake" war.
2.)He passed legislation to give gas stations a tax credit for installing ethanol refueling pumps.
3.) Since many inmates were sent to death row and then later found innocent he worked with law officials to require the all interrogations and confessions to be video taped.

I just want Mccain because I think that Iraq wasn't a mistake and that we should continue fighting until we have won.
