@MuscleDaddyCMH She did play A continental principality. Emma Thompson played the American Continental Principality but Meryl played the Australian Principality. You need to go back and watch the movie again. It's near the end of the film.

Nooo. Meryl just joked. They are good friends. Both are very intelligent and witty so I guess they are really good friends. Emma also plays in Angels in America (she played an angel, etc..) Emma actually wrote funny message to Meryl during Nanny McPhee filming because there was a real cow (as an "actor" :D ) which is named Meryl.So Emma made​a joke of it... Emma and Meryl are my favorite actress...especially Emma ;)))

I love how she described what writers do except she said he all the way thru and not once or she and as a writer that bites. Ad she thanks the male actors and not the female leaving out Mary louise Parker who I adore! To me Meryl is always IN great movies but, unlike Pacino who makes the movie great, the movie!! makes Meryl good, I think she knows this too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Even the woman's acceptance speeches are brilliant! Halle Berry was right. Meryl is an American treasure. She is a treasure for the whole world really. She inspires you to be better at whatever it is you do or love.
