after reading these versus, i am considering selling everything and giving it to the poor, i dont want to end up like the wealthy merchant. any comments? The verses seem to be quite clear, and im scared of any other persons intrpretation to gloss it over.

(1Timothy 6:6-7-8) But godliness with contentment is great gain.

(1Tim 6:7) For we brought nothing into the world, and it is clear that we can carry nothing out.

(1Tim 6:8) But having food and clothing, we will be content.
